Four Points by Sheraton Columbus Ohio Airport

Four Points is a nice place to stay… Clean rooms for sure.
What’s lacking are In-​Room amenities i. e there were no refrigerators (don’t bring those left overs back from that awesome dinner you had) no microwaves (to reheat those left overs) no safe (to lock the stuff up you don’t want to take).
Finally the biggest complaint was WIFI simply put it was Horrible and Unreliable. If your in Columbus on business and need wifi look else where. It was slow and dropped out repeatedly. This was a big miss on the part of this SPG Hotel stay. I’m sure our large company won’t be using this hotel for anything again unless the above mentioned things are corrected.

This was a nice, clean hotel. We stayed there for one night on our way to Chicago. Room was a good size. Staff were very friendly. There is a salt water pool that is a good size and ranges from 3′ to 5′. Would stay here again if in the area.

So many things wrong with this property.
1. Internet is SO S L O W — unacceptable for any streaming, video conference, YouTube, etc. In flight wi-​fi comparable speeds
2. paper thin walls — can hear everything — the elevator dings, the very very very chatty guests and their kids right near me. Woken up many times last night.
3. Coffee/​tea maker — sitting on a shelf in a cabinet — you can’t fill it with water without taking the entire thing out of the cabinet. Bad placement.
4. Blackout blinds in my room didn’t roll up so in permanent darkness. Called to have someone fix it — he came right away. Worked great that night — rolled up, rolled down. Came back from work the next day, broken again. Replace the cheap ass blinds. If basic use by a guest or housekeeping breaks it, replace it.
5. Iron and ironing board — the board is tweaked and not opening correctly. Iron has hard water deposits already.
This place is a pass.

Clean. Comfortable. Great location.
The room was very nice. Large comfortable bed. Large bathroom. I stayed for two nights (conference in the area), mainly using the room simply to have a good night’s sleep and to shower/​dress in the morning. I secured a good price. The location was ideal. It’s fairly new. It was clean and safe.
I can’t really comment on the restaurant/​bar area since I didn’t venture into that area. I didn’t even partake in the free coffee in the morning. The common areas seemed nice. Décor and design unique and welcoming. The parking lot was convenient and spacious.
Only complaint: wireless internet was fairly slow.
I would stay here again if the price was right; on the other hand, there are many similar hotels in the Columbus area that are just as nice.

Omg. The best food ever. If you don’t try this place you’ll miss out. The food is absolutely fabulous

I was not sure what to expect from this hotel. Surprisingly, it was a hidden jewel. Duran made sure I was comfortable. I was able to check in right away. The check out process was smooth as well.

Highly recommend this hotel not just for a stay near the airport but also for a stay around Columbus. Can’t beat the price for this level of accommodation. Close to the highways, quick access to the airport, Easton, and even downtown. The lobby, bar and rooms are nicely decorated and the staff are friendly and helpful. Free wi-​if, heated salt water pool and great parking. I know where I’ll stay if I ever need to come back.

All dishes were good, but I’d have to say the Quesadillas were the best. Burger needed a little help and the Jambalaya as well. Service was great! Hotel was great!

First, the good. The room was comfortable and well kept. The bed was very comfortable and the heat was easy to regulate and not horribly noisy. Unfortunately, my shower had a clog and it took me 3 times reporting it to get it fixed.
The food was not the best either. I had dinner and breakfast there and the only thing I slightly enjoyed was the oatmeal and their beer selection, for which the staff his no idea about.
Front desk staff was great and very helpful and the fitness center was pretty good.

This is a good hotel for both the money and the location. Rooms and lobby/​bar area are ultra mod and very cool– great bathroom and pretty comfortable beds. However, even though you might sleep well on the bed, you won’t once you are woken up by the constant noise you hear through their paper thin walls. Making it even worse is that it is an airport hotel, so there are many people slamming doors and making a racket in the hallway at 5 am to catch their 7 am flight.
Front desk staff was friendly enough, and the shuttle driver was very friendly, offering to help me scrape off my car when he saw that I was using a map to get the snow off of my car.
This is a great choice for a quick overnight stay to catch a flight– even with the noise issue the place is clean and convenient.

Nice choice for a room by airport, for sure. One major drawback: their walls are paper thin and you hear every single door slamming up and down the hallway as if it’s your own door. Stayed here twice and same experience. Clean and comfy, especially the beds. 1 mile from airport. Would not want to hang here for 3 nights but that’s not its purpose. Lobby with fireplace, very cool ambiance, and it’s squeaky clean. Recommend highly; modern décor and pretty friendly staff.

Arrived at the hotel at noon. Check in is at 3 PM however, at other hotels we’ve arrived earlier and was able to get our room. This day we had to come back ¹⁄₅ hours later. When we returned the room was ready. When the clerk signed into the system he did not put in for the 2 nights as we had booked and I had to go back down to have this corrected. The room was large, bright and very clean. The bed is alright for one night but after the second night I felt it in my back. They either need a thick mattress pad (because the one that was on there is more of a mattress cover) or a new mattress.
I felt there was not enough room to hang clothes. They did not have a regular closet but had a combination coffee/​tea server, iron and ironing board and clothing wardrobe. No refrigerator or safe for valuables. There was a long table for a computer and chair along with some cubbies (yes, just like kindergarten) for clothes, socks etc. I did not like this set up at all. However, even being close to the airport the airplane noise was not bad. The gathering room was not set up for seating the number of people who wanted to relax there. I would recommend this hotel but not for an extended stay.

I spent Friday night here after a hellish travel day from Texas that landed me back in CMH around 11:30 pm. Here are my thoughts a few days out:
1. The place is very fresh and updated. Pretty modern place. I was a big fan of the bed — very comfy — so comfy I actually slept for 8 hours straight without waking up (doesn’t happen often). The check in girl was very friendly and she literally just gave me the key right away. I got this hotel on a priceline express deal for $ 64 bucks 6 hours prior to my stay — not so bad.
2. The coffee maker is a nice touch, but it leaks like hell. The coffee was pretty good. They don’t have a lot of mixers/​condiments for the coffee though, so use sparingly. Loved the burlap sack the coffee came in. Also, I was a fan of the free bottle of water next to the door.
3) The bathroom has a really nice clean look, shampoo/​conditioner/​body wash dispensers in the actual shower (which is huge). That was pretty cool. There are also 3 – 4 hooks in there to hang your clothes on. While the bathroom had the appearance of being clean it was DIRTY. DIRTY bird dirty. Well, at least the floor. I put down the mat, took my shower and when I got out and stepped on the mat, it was black all over from dirt. There were also many long black hairs in the bathroom, near the sink and toilet… Those definitely weren’t mine, as I am ginger.
4) I really enjoyed the coffee in the lobby in the am… It was a nice pick-​me-​up before a two hours drive. Why don’t all hotels do this?
Overall, I would stay here again… I would just request a much cleaner bathroom (didn’t really notice it was dirty until the am).

This is bar none the best hotel in Columbus for the price. And regardless of price, it is one of the best hotels in Columbus.
You’ll find everything you want here from an excellent staff with quick and friendly service to all the amenities– a pool, gym, a bar, and VERY nice rooms. I’ve stayed here once for five nights and will be staying again next month. The rooms are spacious, air conditioned, super clean, and have a very modern design. They essentially have «relax» written all over them. I also appreciated how nice the bathroom was for just $ 100-​something a night. The lobby is also quite elegant and inviting. Even though the rooms are only in the $ 100 range, the whole place easily looks like it would cost $ 300 per night.
It’s also in a safe area with plenty of free parking. Less than 2 minutes to the freeway and you’re on your way to downtown/​OSU, which you’ll be at within 10 minutes. Yet you’re not too close to the airport that you hear all the planes.
Stay here and you won’t regret it.

Good location. Good price.

We are Sheraton people – Starwood members. Whenever possible we stay at Sheraton properties. This Four Points was not good. Nothing awful happened to us, and it was clean, but for the money the Embassy Suites at this location (airport) is much better.
Our room was small – Manhattan small – and the typically great Sheraton beds were not up to par. The sheets felt scratchy. No fridge, no perks for Starwood members. Breakfast was good – though it was free at the Embassy (where the event we were in town for was being held).
This is a small hotel compared to the ones across the street. My kid liked the choloclote chip pancakes – other than that it was a ho-​hum experience.

AHHHH! After two weeks in a crappy hotel in Fairborn, OH, I get to stay here.
Great lobby area, beautiful rooms, wonderful beds and just a fantastic, soothing environment overall. I unfortunately brought a lot of perishables and realized that the room didn’t have either a microwave or fridge. So sad.

I’ve stayed here only one night due to a scheduling issue with work and our normal hotel being booked up. Truthfully, I didn’t even notice that this hotel was there. I pass the area every so often and I guess never really paid attention to my surroundings. I had a very pleasant experience here though. The shuttle took a little while picking me up from the airport, but not excessively long. The driver was really cool and personable.
Once I got to the hotel, I was greeted courteously at the front desk and they had my room and key ready to go. Very nice lobby area with a decent looking restaurant/​lounge area. Around the corner to the back, is the gym and pool. Look closely because it’s tucked away back there. I didn’t make use of the pool, but I did use the gym. Very large workout room with new equipment in great condition. They have two HDTV’s up on the walls too. I watched Deuce Bigalow while running my laps on the treadmill, LOL!
The room was great! Well lit, clean, and trendy. You can tell from the pics I took. I apologize for getting a little too trigger happy with my camera. I absolutely loved the bathroom. The light bordered mirror is awesome and makes your eyes do that music videon thingie where you can see shaped light reflections in your eyes. I pray I’m not the only weirdo to take note of this. I love showers with glass doors, but have yet to see someone solve the «splashing water in between the door pane» problem. Just put a towel on the ground, you’ll be alright!
The last benefit to this place… Jimmy Johns right next door!

Conveniently located ~10 minutes from the airport, it’s a perfect place to rest your head during a business trip. I did just that for four nights on a business trip — worked 17 hour days so I didn’t utilize anything but my room in the hotel. Nothing else seemed to be nearby (except a Jimmy John’s across the parking lot).

Bathroom is nice but you get wet when you turn on the shower! (Poor design!)
Thin towels were cheap, motel quality
You can hear the planes taking off/​landing overhead, but not enough to be bothersome

All in all, a good value near the Columbus airport… (although maybe the prices in general are cheap like this in Columbus?)

My first thought walking into this hotel was, How are we able to afford this? Every inch of this hotel is amazing.
This hotel is designed right down to the soap dishes. Everything has matching colors and designs, and it’s lovely. The thought and effort in the design was unmatched by anywhere I’ve stayed. Our room was beautifully equipped and the bedding was fabulous, soft and warm. The set up of the desk for an office was genius and perfect for working from your room.
The bathroom was beautiful, with an oversized glass shower, and lovely tile on the floor. The shower head? Amazing.
The pool was small, but quaint and again, the entire place was decorated in such an excellent manner.
I drank at the bar until midnight, and it was a nice time.
