This is my favorite beer store ever. This store appeals to beer novices and beer geeks all the same. Always rotating selection, always seasonal features, rare beers, etc. Very knowledgable and friendly staff. Mike is happy to give recommendations based on what you like, not what he thinks you should like. Onsite chiller to chill your beer to the perfect temp if you want. If you are looking for limited release beers, make sure you get there the day of, because they sell out fast.

After filling up on some great BBQ next door, I stopped by here. I’ve heard of the place and it’s been on my bookmarks to check, so here I am. This place is really nice. Clean and laid out really well so you can find and browse what you are looking for. I was very surprised at how knowledgeable and helpful the staff was on everything they carried. I think I might get a part time job here just so I can gain all that knowledge too :)

We ADORE this place. Aside from a well organized and lovely space, the staff is great. They have almost ANYTHING in the way of beers, ales, ciders and meads you could imagine. You can mix a six, buy singles or pre packed faves. They offer specialty beverages from all over the world and right here in Ohio, allocated items and special occasion selections. They usually offer seasonal displays (pumpkin, christmas etc.) and featured styles. They host tastings with brewers and offer swag and proper glasses as well. Even non alcoholic brewed beverages, gluten free and vegan choices.
If they dont have it, they will get it.

Euro green bottles taste fresh (?!). They’ve got something new every time. Beers are organized by type and easy to find. Large selection of singles.

If you like beer or cider this is the place to go. Tgey have tons of beers to pick from. It’s great you can make your own 4 pack or 6 pack. All beer or all cider or some of both.
They also have tasting almost eveey Friday in the summer with local craft beer and other regional breweries.
If you love beer and live in Columbus then you should make sure to stop by and give them a try. We have been here at least 3 times and will definitely be back every Friday for the tastings.

I came down to Columbus hoping I would be able to find a lot of great beer in a one stop shop and Crafted Drafts tucked away in the suburbs did not disappoint. Mike was super knowledgable, helpful, and loaded to the teeth with all the IPA, stout, sour beer and more that you could want. He sells his singles at per unit price and goes above and beyond for customers including fixing an issue with my receipt via phone when I was already on the road. I’m not much of a Unilocal reviewer but I am a serious beer drinker and you can’t miss this place!

This is my favorite place to go for craft beer. I go there so much that the owner, Mike, remembers me! They have a great selection of beer and Mike is very knowledgeable. They also have a great selection of ciders and gluten-​free beers, if that’s you’re thing. I really like that you can get single bottles if you’re just wanting to try something new. Crafted Drafts also does beer tastings about once a month, which is pretty cool. A very clean and organized store that I frequent often.

I’m a big fan of libations but it’s been in recent years that I’ve dabbled with craft brews. It’s not an area that I have a great deal of knowledge, but I take any opportunity to learn more about the process and more importantly the options.
I had a hankering for grapefruit beer and was getting pretty desperate as I couldn’t seem to find a bottle in the city. The gift of social media led me to Crafted Drafts on a Sunday afternoon after confirming, #1 they are indeed open on Sunday’s and #2, grapefruit beer was in stock!
Crafted Drafts in conveniently located on N. Hamilton Road in the Gahanna/N.E. Columbus area with several other shops/​eateries. You have to keep an eye out for it or you’ll miss this hopped out spot that’s located in one of several strips on Hamilton Road.
The inside is nice, clean, and organized. There are SOOOO many options! If it wasn’t for Dan’s expertise I would’ve been very overwhelmed. Dan was able to give me the background on several breweries, offer recommendations on what I should try, and he told me about tastings that will be held in the future!
I don’t think there is another venue in Columbus that has so many beer options. There is really something for everyone. If you have a palate for the sour, sweet, hoppy, or neat, if chocolate moves you while the wheat soothes you, Crafted Drafts is the place you want to be!

I’m about a year into craft brews. Since I have made it through the giant eagle selection of single bottles, it was time to expand. First stop, crafted drafts.
I went in about 430 on a Friday and there were 6 – 10 people shopping. I asked an employee that turned out to be the owner mike about how the single bottles worked. He examined it to me and spent about 35 – 40 walking through with me explaining styles and recommending things based on what I’d already had, etc. this was so great, it’s was the experience that I want from every bartender that basically knows nothing of beers they serve. These guys are there to help and guide you into familiar flavors or new tastes.
Clean place, no dusty bottles. Great selection of local and international brews as well as ciders and sodas too. All bottles individually priced unless you get a 4 or 6 pack which are available. Can’t wait to go back, this place is excellent!

No, YOU’RE a hidden gem of a beer shoppe cloistered away in Gahanna!
After passing by many a time, I finally felt compelled to give it a whirl. When I first arrived, there was a young couple walking around and talking to the «barkeep» as it were. And man, is he knowledgeable.
I’ve become enamored with pear ciders of late, and was looking for the Fox Barrel brewery’s offering of said beverage. He politely informed me that Fox Barrel was no longer, and had been taken over by Crispin. So I picked up several of the Crispin Pear Ciders, as well as several of the Woodchuck Pear Ciders. Both quite good.
I have also sampled the Breckenridge Vanilla Porter which I’ve admittedly had before, and have a Left Hand Milk Stout still waiting for me to sample. But the crowning beverage is Wells Sticky Toffee Pudding Ale. Uhm, hells to the yes? I took his advice, and drank it slightly chilled. Wells is also known for their Banana Nut Bread beer, which I’ve tried before at Winking Lizard. This, this is far better.
They have an amazazing selection, clean and well organized, no clutter or wasted space. Well laid out, most out and about with some chilled and refrigerated.
As stated elsewhere, I’ll admit the prices aren’t exactly gangbusters, but still all things considered well worth it. You can put together 4 or 6 packs to your heart’s content. I’ll be revisiting repeatedly, if just for that delightful Pudding Ale.

If you’re looking for one of the best bottle shops in the state of Ohio you have just found it. Crafted Drafts is a little out of the way (about 20 minutes from downtown Columbus) but it has one of the greatest and most beautifully curated craft beer bottle collections I’ve ever seen. The shop is clean, well lit, no dusty bottles, well organized, it’s everything a craft beer bottle shop should be.
The shelves are stocked with beers from all over the world and owner/​operator Mike Troy is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I stopped in on a Friday afternoon and I was blown away. As a huge fan and supporter of locally brewed craft beer, I was happy to see dozens of Ohio’s brewers represented on the shelves — Homestead, Hoppin’ Frog, Great Lakes, Fat Head’s, Jackie O’s, Actual, Seventh Son, and Rockmill… the list goes on and on and on.
Local not your thing? They’ve got British, Belgian, German, Canadian, hell, it’s a United Colors of Benetton for the beer world.
I live in Cleveland so it’s not like I can make the trip down to see Mike every week, but I can tell you one thing. I’ll make sure to stop in and replenish my inventory every time I am in the Columbus area.

I was thrilled when Crafted Drafts opened. This area needed this place. Selection is great and you can buy singles of many of the beers. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I wish their hours were better and had a larger supply of limited beers.

Great addition to the Gahanna/​New Albany area. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Id been looking for an assortment of IPAS and found over thirty here.

This place is definitely going to thrive, especially in its neck of the woods. A lot of domestic and foreign singles give you the chance to make a pretty impressive 6 pack.
My first trip was in December and what impressed me most was all the seasonal winter and holiday ales he had on display in the middle of the shop and at the front. Definitely looking forward to going back in the fall. In the meantime there’s plenty more to try, including a decent selection of cider on the back wall, opposite the cooler.
My only con is the prices – a little high. Definitely worth a visit. A destination? I’d definitely venture out. Not that far of a drive up Morse from Easton Mall.

Went back to get supplies for wedding party. The guy at the counter was very helpful. I explained what I wanted (good beer, but some things that non-​beer-​aficionados would enjoy too.) I also wanted local stuff (at least Ohio-​made,) and even though I needed some less-​beer-​snobby stuff I still wanted to be able to enjoy any leftovers.
He pointed me to several options based on my needs and my own tastes, and helped estimate how much to get. Prices were reasonable for the quality. We ended up drinking all the beer, and got some good comments. I had a couple of the beers, and enjoyed them. All in all a great experience, and I would go back next time I have a party. And just next time I want some interesting beers…

I’ve been here twice now. I recommend that you do NOT go on a Friday because that late in the week their inventory of popular brews is basically gone. I think that is the only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because sometimes their inventory is so picked over that they don’t even have really common beers that I just saw stacks of at Giant Eagle.
Their prices are really comparable to grocery store prices. And the ability to buy a 6-​pack of different beers makes the slightly higher price worth it. I think most of the single bottles ranged from $ 1.50-$ 3 depending on the abv %. So this is definitely worth the drive over.

Solid bottle shop. I like that they specialize in selling individual bottles rather than 4– or 6-​packs, as I like to try as many things as possible, and mix-​and-​match packs allow me to do so. The other thing I really like is that the bottles are arranged by style, which makes it far easier for me to find what I’m looking for instead of searching through the entire inventory.
The selection is good. It’s certainly not the best in town, and I didn’t see a whole lot there that I haven’t seen other places (I actually didn’t buy anything when I went because I didn’t see anything new to me), but it’s good. Also, for this area of town, it’s very good. I’m a bit spoiled living in the Grandview/​Upper Arlington area, as I have access to several great beer shops within 10 minutes of home, but I’m told by friends in the Northeast part of the city that it’s slim pickins over there, so Crafted Drafts is a very good addition.
If you live in the Westerville/​New Albany/​Easton/​etc. area, definitely check the place out. I bet it will be your go-​to bottle shop.

I am so happy that I saw the review for this place on Unilocal.We needed a good beer store on this side of town… and now we have one!
This is like beer candyland. It’s a small, nicely laid out store with an impressive selection of small, craft beers and international highlights. The owner, Mike, was friendly, chatty, and very knowledgeable. We intended to only pick up a 6 pack. But, we walked out with a mixed 6-​pack, a 4-​pack, and a bottle of the rare Ommegang Take the Black Stout. And we saw a bunch of stuff that we want to go back and grab.
In short, this is a great addition to our neighborhood. The store is warm, inviting and filled with treasures. They have a cooler so you can pick up some chilled beers and a rapid chiller for those that you need chilled right away. If you’re in the area, you should stop by!

The shop is arranged so that you can easily find what you’re looking for, or just browse the plethora of beers. Packs and cases along the left wall, seasonal displays through the middle, a cooler on the right in the back, and a huge selection of single bottles to build your own 4-​or-​6 pack from. The single bottle racks are color coded by beer type, too.
The owners are friendly and ready to offer suggestions or help. It’s strictly a bottle shop for now but I hear they are looking into doing tastings and maybe getting taps at some point.
There’s also a quick cool tank if you’re in a hurry to consume the deliciousness.
