Never written a review before but wanted to pass along that Tim Bolger and his helper did a fantastic job for a fair price. I was leery of hiring someone through Craigslist, especially after the first mover I contacted through Craigslist had shown up the day before, attempted to move the item and after some grunting and head-​scratching, declined to move it. I decided before giving the guys at one of the national chains the business I’d try one more time and I’m glad I did. His quote was 40% less than the national chain and it really couldn’t have gone better. He showed up on time (actually he was early, in the middle of a snow storm, and had to wait on me to get there but was still very friendly, polite and professional.) I only needed one item moved, but it was a monstrously heavy 36″ old tube-​type TV weighing about 260 lbs, and I needed it moved from a storage unit into the basement of a house. They were careful to wrap it up in blankets, attach it securely to a dolly, strap it carefully into their truck and deliver it without a problem at all. I almost always move everything myself but his pricing was very fair and more importantly he did a great job. I hope to not move again anytime soon but if I need something heavy and awkward moved I’m saving my back and hiring him, it was the best money I’ve spent in a very long time.
