Chad Cacchio DDS

I went there as a new patient to have my routine cleaning done, and I was very happy with my visit! The office environment was very comfortable with ample seating and large windows as well as free coffee in the waiting area. Waiting time was almost zero. After I handed in my paperwork, it was my turn as soon as I sat down.
My visit started off with a very quick and simple xray which was then projected to a monitor/​screen for me to look at together with my very friendly hygienist, Sarah, who kept me informed of her observations. We then went to the examination room for the cleaning & checkup, which was very professionally done. They even had a TV and allowed me to take the remote control to watch whatever I wanted. The cleaning itself didn’t feel like it was rushed through and I thought it was pretty detailed. Towards the end of the cleaning, I even got to choose my preferred tooth polish flavor, which added avery simple but nice personal touch to the dental exam. Dr. Cacchio came in towards the end to discuss my overall dental conditions and any issues I had. He was very open to questions and I could tell from his answers that he was a conservative dentist who would do only what is needed and necessary for your teeth.
Check-​out was smooth too. Niki, the Office Manager, was very efficient with scheduling my next dental checkup! Overall, I was impressed with how fast my visit took (my routine cleaning/​checkup lasted 45 mins from when I stepped in to when I walked out with shiny teeth), and how open they were with walking me through my checkup, in addition to the friendly service I got from the staff!

I highly recommend Dr. Cacchio. We were in search of a good honest dentist after going to Dr. Angela Courtney (a horrible experience). It’s been a year and a half, and I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Cacchio. He is honest, nice, caring and a respectful dentist. The office is a very pleasant setting, I can take my children there and feel comfortable while getting my teeth cleaned. Not to mention, they are super with kids! My youngest is still too small to get teeth cleaned, and super shy too, so they have worked with my child to open up to the idea of teeth cleaning. They won’t push it. You have a fear of going to the dentist, they are soothing! My husband fears the dentist– I got him to go too for the first time in 8 yrs! Wish there were more honest dentists out there like Dr. Cacchio!

Very happy with the atmosphere and attitude of the office as a whole. The hygienists were nice and thorough in their work, and Dr. Cacchio is pleasant and warm. Also, I’d like to note that I went to Dr. Cacchio after another dentist had recommended a $ 3,000 reconstruction of a tooth, and Dr. Cacchio examined the same tooth and concluded that the other dentist was misinformed, therefore saving me a ton of money.

When I moved to Columbus, I looked up dentists covered by my insurance and made an appointment with one very close to home. After that dentist completely messed things up for me (she filled 4 cavities when I had previously had 0, one of which has been hurting me since October, leaving me unable to eat on one side of my mouth!) I asked for recommendations from people in the area and several people couldn’t speak highly enough about Dr. Cacchio. I made an appointment to check out my achey tooth.
Something that I really like about Dr. Cacchio is that he is a conservative dentist — he won’t do more work than he needs to. My longtime dentist from home was the same way, and I always appreciated it. If a tooth looked suspicious, they’d keep an eye on it and usually, in 6 months, they’d see it was fine. When I went to the more liberal dentist who wanted to fill tons of cavities, I let her do it because I told myself that they’d be cavities eventually even if she was being a little loose with her diagnosis of them. I’ll never feel that way again!
Dr. Cacchio took some x-​rays and saw that my root looked a little suspicious. He said that it could mean a root canal. That was back in January. He said that we’d wait until April and see how it was. I just had that appointment. My tooth still really hurts, but I just eat on the side of my mouth that doesn’t. It’s manageable, at least. Dr. Cacchio says to come back if it starts really bothering me, because these situations usually either get better or worse. He’ll then crown it. If that doesn’t work, then we’ll consider a root canal. Unlike my last dentist, I trust Dr. Cacchio. He’s not going to do more than he has to just to make a profit.
The dental staff is really great, too. My last hygienist was SO nice and easy to talk to. She made me feel really comfortable, answered all of my questions, was open and honest. Scheduling is really easy and they even send you a little card in the mail to remind you that you need to make an appointment.
The office itself is pretty — light, well lit, with TVs that you can put on whatever channel you want.
Overall, I’m very happy with Dr. Cacchio and his office staff. I wish I had gone to them to begin with — I could have avoided months of pain and unnecessary fillings. I would highly recommend Dr. Cacchio, just as people highly recommended him to me!

Dr. Cacchio’s office is AMAZING. I had such a hard time finding a good dentist, he was my fourth try after several horrific experiences around the city. His office is clean, well decorated, has coffee up front, and very relaxing. The staff is ALL amazing, they are super sweet and have never been anything but amazing to me. The hygienists are gentle and to a great job of cleaning my teeth without destroying my mouth in the process. Dr. Cacchio is very nice, makes sure he addresses any concerns and is conservative with invasive treatment, which I really appreciate. I have had dentists try to fill teeth before just because I had insurance remaining that they wanted to use, and Dr. Cacchio is the opposite of that. I have a couple of teeth that he technically could have filled months ago but is just watching and waiting right now. I really appreciate that and it makes me feel like I can really trust him to do a good job. Every single experience at this office has been wonderful, and we just moved out of the neighborhood and I will STILL be coming back to him regardless of where I live. Can’t say enough good things about him.

My family has been going to this practice since right after they opened; I discovered the office while pulling out of Lane Ave. Shopping Center (it’s right across the street in a lovely new building). We are very happy with Dr. Cacchio and his staff, as they are professional and friendly. They offer evening and Saturday morning hours. The waiting room is cushy, with a flat-​screen and complimentary coffee.
