Cambria hotel & suites Columbus – Polaris

Two out of three days there was no shuttle available and two out of three days a mistake on my room service. A real c + hotel.

I spent a weekend at this hotel and it was wonderful. Amazing staff, outstanding food service. I came for a weekend but didn’t want to leave. Had things around to do so I could walk around. I cant wait to have to visit again and spend time here. Absolutely amazing.

Stayed here last weekend for a wedding and I was pleasantly surprised! We never expect alot from hotels blocked off for a wedding, they usually cover the necessities but not alot of other things. This hotel was beautiful, spacious, and the rooms were great with plenty of room! They had a nice little restaurant down stairs along with a bar and a huge lobby with tvs, office space, and plenty more. We were pleasantly surprised that they even offered a room service menu for us to order a bottle of wine while we got ready for the wedding! Great option and VERY VERY inexpensive price! =)

Cambria is awesome. Great service comfortable rooms and great employees. We could stay at other hotels closer to our venue but choose to stay here.

stayed here last Christmas and will be going back again this Christmas. Right next to the Polaris Shopping Center, which has great shops and awesome restaurants. The hotel is easy to get to, good parking and very nice inside. Reserved online for only $ 130 for a suite. The suite isn’t huge but has plenty of sleeping space for family and flat screen TV’s. Nice little bar area downstairs with food for purchase. Give it a try…

This is one of the best hotels to stay if you visit Columbus.

This is a tremendous hotel– we were so pleased with our stay that we’ll seek it out every time we travel. It’s the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in at this price range — and would have been a wonderful experience at $ 100 more. Chose it online as we drove to Columbus late in the evening. Easy online reservations.
Good neighborhood — easy access to the highway, a lot of restaurants, a nice shopping mall.
Staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive from the moment of check-​in.
King-​size room was a two room suite with a separate bedroom with comfortable bed and large TV and small walk-​in closet. It is partitioned off by a knee wall and open bookcase from a sitting area that has a pull out couch, desk area, flat screen TV, credenza with microwave and refrigerator. Bathroom is large and modern, with a lot of counter space and wonderful basin sink, great light (which is kind of rare in hotels), and large walk-​in shower with great shower head and great water pressure. It’s a European style walk-​in shower (no door or curtain), so at certain angles, the water can roll out onto the bathroom floor (use a hand towel to stop that river from forming).
Hotel and common areas are new, modern, polished and convenient. Restaurant has extended hours. Lobby guest computers log out and erase cookies of each user.
Wifi and Parking are free, but Breakfast buffet is not.
Just a really wonderful hotel. Would be great for families, extended stay business travelers (who only need a microwave and fridge), and general leisure travelers.
Every hotel should be this nice!

Took a little family vacation down to CBUS for the week since it’s a good middle point for all. My fiancé’s mother booked our rooms for us so when we aren’t paying you don’t complain. I wasn’t expecting much as I am a frequent traveler for business and get pretty use to the 5 star hotel trips.
However, this place has far exceeded many of the swanky 5 stars I have stayed in and I would recommend this in a heartbeat.
Who is it good for you ask? My answer: who is it NOT good for. I couldn’t imagine anyone not enjoying their stay here.
The check-​in and the staff were perfect. We were always greeted upon entering and leaving the building. The lobby is very nice and large with plenty of seating. Modern, clean décor. Nice bar, excellent pool and hot tub, gym, room service, breakfast in the morning (though $$).
The rooms are really nice. I love the separate living room and bedroom area. The tvs are flat screen with tons of options for channels. Comfy sitting here, fridge, microwave.
The shower and bathroom are nice. Excellent water pressure and I like the walk in shower. Comfy bed with nice pillows. Also quiet at night.
Overall, I’d stay again if in the area. The location is excellent, a bit away from stuff so there isn’t road noise. But the mall is across the street with tons of food options and you’re right off 71 if you need to go anywhere else.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in for business. Wish I could stay longer than 1 night!

I’ve never stayed in a Cambria Suites before, but this hotel has spoiled my husband and me. For us this hotel will be the gold standard by which all other hotels will be measured. Luckily the rate is very reasonable at $ 129 which means if there’s a Cambria Suites in the area, we will choose to stay there each and every time.

Can you tell I just loved this place??? It felt more like home than any other hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
Usually I’m hesitant to walk around barefoot in a hotel room but this one didn’t give me the heebie jeebies like most. The bathroom in particular is gorgeous and functional, down to the orange glow from the light switch that acts as a night light so you don’t wake up your traveling companion during a late night bathroom break.
The lounge/​restaurant/​bar area looked nice, although I didn’t take advantage of it. The pool/​spa is small, but very nice; my husband and I had both the pool and hot tub to ourselves every time we ventured down there. The fitness room looked nice as well but it does get busy in there as I think a lot of people stay here for business.
Another thing I liked about this place is the entire hotel is non-​smoking which keeps the rooms/​air smelling fresh. I noticed some smokers outside, which blows my mind (why not book a hotel where you can smoke freely?) but at least that was minimal. In addition, we didn’t see any kids during our stay. I don’t think they are forbidden, but this place probably wouldn’t appeal to families (and I’m quite fine with that, thanks).
I will probably look for a Cambria Suites in the future when I’m away from home because I’m seriously impressed. The only thing that would make it perfect is two things — a fan in the bathroom and complimentary breakfast.

What a swanky little establishment!
Stylish, clean and urban-​looking (not urban-​located). I took the BF here for his birthday after I won a free night stay when they first opened. If you didn’t already know you were in Columbus, you’d be fooled into thinking you were in a posh NYC hotel… err maybe nice apartment.
The rooms are just that — mini apartments — and packed with the latest techno hook ups to make your life easier. And the décor?! Hello, city meets chic! I felt like I should’ve been walking around in high heels sipping martini’s — while just in my room!
To top it off it’s close to Polaris for shopping and dining; and the Cambria staff was fabulous.

This chain is BOSS! It is New, Swanky, and CLEAN! OMG why dont other hotels model themselves against Cambria Suites?
Dare I compare this place to a «W» hotel?
Yes and No.
Yes in the fact that they are super clean, décor is pimpy meets urban deco, and the rooms are seriously nice.
— Flat screens with wall adapters so you can plug in devices and use the flat screen to view content or even listen to music. (Simply put, VGA, HDMI, RCA, and Audio Input jack). You could hook up a laptop/​ipod/​whatever and view contents on the tv. Nice for those who have a lot of movies.
— Huge beds with down covers, feels like you are sleeping on a cloud I tell you!
— All the furniture is new.
— Rooms are spotless clean.
— Walk in showers!
— Nice sized bathrooms with cool sinks (again swanky on the décor)
— Microwave, Mini Frig, Coffee/​Tea (From Numi and Wolfgang Puck)
–Free Wireless and Wired Internet Access
–Nice sized desk with a real office chair. Super comfy for working.
The hotel has a small kitchen where you can order up food. They also have a 24 – 7 place to buy snacks, drinks, and so forth.
There is a business center free to use.
THE Not so «W» like…
The hotel loby has a nice bar but it aint too big. LOL
If they had a full bar I would say this place would be pretty damn close to a «W» Hotel. Minus maybe a few blue lights and what not but thats pretty much the jest of this place. Well worth the stay for this class of hotel and for the cost!

Cambria is Choice hotels «high end» hotel. It’s in the same category as Hyatt Place or Starwood’s aloft. Super clean facilities and friendly staff. Very conveniently located to the freeways and only 15 minutes to the airport with no traffic. There are a million food options available as Polaris shopping center is across the road. Apparently, Columbus is the chain restaurant capital of the world so your food choices are limitless. The rooms are all suites, and pretty modern. The bedrooms are separated from the sitting/​work area. There are 2 flat screen tv’s in each 1 bedroom unit. The rooms also have a microwave, coffee maker, and fridge. There is a restaurant downstairs with a limited menu, and a «grab n go» case with sandwiches & salads, etc. There is also a small pool & hot tub and fitness room.
