One extremely sweet-​ass item pulls me here: Soy Chocolate Chip Cookies. Soft all the way through. Moist. Gooey. AKA: Cookie Heaven! The gal that owns this cookie-​and-​coffee joint is friendly. She always greets me with a smile, and knows what I like. Like most bakeries, this one has three-​for, half a dozen-​for, and a dozen-​for deals. So, if you need something to calm that sweet tooth (or forgot to make a dessert for a gathering after work), ABC Cookie is a fantastic alternative to store-​bought cookies!

$ 1.50 for an average sized, average tasting cookie? Are you kidding me? I come from a land where cookies like the ones this place puts out are priced at 3 for $ 1. The cookies taste like ones you can get from a grocery store’s bakery. I understand these are fresh baked, but those are fresh baked too. Cookies from a grocery store’s bakery are usually priced at $ 3 – 4 for a dozen. ABC is charging 6 times as much! I understand rent in Nationwide Plaza can’t be cheap, but seriously??? Also, I didn’t see a pricing menu anywhere in plain sight — and probably for good reason as that would chase customers away. Only after I selected my cookies did I find out about this outrageous pricing. I should’ve asked beforehand, but in all honesty, what reasonable person would’ve thought that a cookie would cost almost as much as a burger at Cantina on burger night?

Truly blessed cookies. Snikerdoodle and Unbaked are my favorites. The amazingly friendly staff just adds to the experience. I go here all the time.

I work in the building and if I want a cup of coffee during the day, I head here. I can get a mix of chocolate coffee with vanilla coffee, and I love the vanilla creamer with a pump. Great customer service, cookies, coffee cake and breakfast casserole too!

I can’t go to four stars because I shouldn’t be eating cookies that often. Nothing beats fresh cookies. The staff is super friendly. Later in the afternoon they discount all of the cookies as everything is made fresh daily.

The owner, Dee, knows how to make a cookie. My husband and I love her chocolate chip and peanut butter chocolate chip cookies respectively. She also makes muffins, breakfast casseroles and various juices/​teas. They also sell coffee and ice cream. If you work downtown, do yourself a favor and head to the Plaza 3 Nationwide building on the ground floor. Cookies are being made all through the day.

Customer service has a lot to do with the experience and the same goes for you as a customer’s attitude. I got a kick out of the funny sayings on the signs, one of which read, «If you are grouchy you must pay a $ 10 fee for us to put up with you.» The people here are delightful. Everything in this store is made from scratch and brings back the memories of Grandma’s homemade cookies. They have classics like chocolate chip and snickerdoodles. And then there are others that sounded and looked so scrumptious. Like cranberry and white chocolate or chocolate marshmallow or chocolate peanut butter chip. They even have sugar cookie cut outs for special occasions. Some of the cookies that I ordered in my dozen were in celebration of the Super Bowl.
The funniest thing is I would have never known this place existed if I hadn’t seen their cookies being sold at Kick Start and then asked where I could find this place. ABC Cookie is located in the Nationwide Plaza office building, which is in the Arena District.
