Established in 1977.
Steven and Kathy Joss founded The Vertical Connection Carpet One from their home in Columbia, Maryland over 32 years ago. They began providing custom vertical blinds via a small add in the Columbia Flier. Over the past 32 years, Steven and Kathy have expanded their business to serve as a «one stop shop» for all your floor covering and window treatment needs. From carpet to hardwood, blinds to shutters The Vertical Connection now serves Howard County and the surrounding areas via their 6,000 square foot design center. They are excited to have their son, Adam, join the family business. And, they’re thrilled to know that their efforts from those early days will continue on to serve the community for years to come.
