NUTRISHOP Columbia was opened by Justin James, former Mizzou and professional baseball player and brother, Chad James. Justin made his MLB debut, pitching for the Oakland Athletics in 2010. Chad James was drafted as the 18^th overall pick in the 2009 MLB Amateur Draft and is currently playing in the minor leagues for the Miami Marlins. Both Justin and Chad personally use NUTRISHOP products, which they believe have helped them reach the highest level of performance.
