Solid Chinese food. I like the fact that they have dinner combination specials that come with an entrée, rice, and an egg roll. Not all establishments have these.

Visited this place for the first time today. I live in Los Angeles and was looking for some Chinese food by my relatives’ house and found this place. Why it took 10 minutes to cook my food when I was the only one in the restaurant confounds me. But I waited. I got the chicken in orange sauce. The food was mediocre at best. The sauce was much to sweet and generic for my liking. The pork fried rice was absolutely flavorless and dry. I also had the hot and sour soup which was so-so, and the fried egg rolls which would have been good, except they were saturated with oil. I wanted to try the dumplings, but was scared to after what I had already eaten. The portions were large and the price was good for lunch. The fact that they cooked everything fresh in front of you was the only reason I gave them 3 stars. I was leaning towards a 2 star though. If only Unilocal would put half stars on here… Oh well. Save your money and try another Chinese restaurant.

My wife’s parents live in Colonia. This is the go to Chinese takeout spot. The food is consistent and the service is very friendly and quick. It is not the best Chinese food around but for take out and a GOOD meal you can’t go wrong. We enjoy it very much. Can’t beat the free soda’s.

This small Chinese food storefront restaurant cured our craving for Chinese food. We both got the lunch special which was plenty of food with a soup. We almost could have shared one order. We got the general tsos and orange chicken with pork fried rice. The rice was the disappointment here. It was flavorless yellow rice with very little pork. Just not what we are used to, as there is an amazing place in Clark where the fried rice is incredible. We’ll be back if the craving strikes and we don’t feel like picking up at our favorite place in Clark, which only does take-out orders.

I LOVEBAMBOOHOUSE! I’ve lived in Colonia since I was little and this place has stood the test of time. I love love love love the food here and they seriously prepare it at the speed of lightning. At other places you may have to wait 15 – 20 minutes but Bamboo House gets it done in 10. Their shrimp and broccoli is DELICIOUS and I love their crab Rangoon as well. If you want good Chinese takeout quickly, come here. The other places around here can be pretty slow.
