I just bought a used Venza from this dealership. The very first hour I drove the car off their lot, I already had problem with the car engine: it did not restart after making one stop on the way home. After unsuccessful attempts to jump start the car, I tried to call the dealership and left numerous emergency messages to service department, sales department, my rep (Kevin) requesting for help and instruction, but no call back. I ended up staying overnight with my car until the tow truck showed up the following Morning. I called and left messages again the following Morning but not a single call back ever since. When their Marketing department emailed me to ask about a Review, I demanded $ 385 in reimbursement because I had to pay to repair the burnt electrical circuit system… Again no answers from Honda of Serramonte, ever.
Apparently, after the sale, don’t bother to ask for help from this dealership. They are pretty done with you (while Knowingly providing Customer a dysfunctional merchandise item)

I dropped by there with my friend yesterday. He was looking for the Honda Civic. He is first time buyer, and he wanna do the test drive before deciding. The guest was not so friendly to us. When we want to get an estimate quote, the salesman always want to pull his credit report before giving a quote to us. I would say we will go for another dealer later on.

I have been trying to reach the service department for the past month and a half. I have left many many voicemails and I also let the front desk know that I am calling to ask a question about my car and would like a representative to call me back and schedule an appointment to come and check on my car. I had my brake pads replaced and ever since I did, there has been a strange noise in my car. Sad to say, I am very disappointed in the customer service, especially with all of the thousands and thousands of dollars that I have spent here.

Worst customer service ever, bought the crv brand new from this dealer and also got the extraction warranty, my crv only has 16,000 in 3 years and I had gotten problems already, the window sharks when rolling down, they replace, after going to Costco went and got a car wash the engine won’t start, call them up twice, the 1^st call no one answer but the recording said they closed at 7:00pm, called the second time, a woman pick up and knows nothing she said” service is closed” «asked her about the towing since it has extended warranty, woman said» you had to talk to service department there” I said, what should I do ?? Woman said” I don’t know you got to talk to service department” I had called before 7:00pm. First Honda CR-​V I bought, I am trading it this week for explorer. Service is always long and never deliver on time. Tired of the BS they give given me.

Its Getting worst! They have change employers or something but I Been waiting for two hours and no one has come out to give me an update. Two hours for an oil change? Really? Wtf

I’m very satisfied with the service I got when I bring my car. They even car washed and vacuum my car. I’m surprised for the service I got. #Good Job!

Just purchased an Odyssey from this dealership. Omar was the salesperson he is the best. He helped us find the right vehicle and explained all it’s options. Steven the general sales manager was so accommodating and made the process so smooth. I was in and out in less than 2 hours.

This review is for the used car acquisition team. I recently sold my car here before moving from the bay area. Dananh Nguyen was s helpful. I stopped by one day, she gave me a fair quote for my car. Did not try to rip me off like the other Acura dealerships on the peninsula. I really appreciated this no BS way of doing work. I came back the day after with my car cleaned out and she already had the paperwork ready. I signed and was out of there in 5 minutes.
Dananh made the while process painless. Buying and selling your car can be a really stressful time if you are dealing with people who are not looking out for your interest and time. Lucky I found these guys. If you are looking to sell your car in a short amount of time and want a good price for it, go find the guys at honda of serramonte.

I’m in the process of looking to buy a car for my parents and dropped by to take a look at a pre-​owned car they had in inventory. After looking at the car (with cracked windshield and previous driver’s cooties in the interior) and doing some due diligence on KBB, the guy I spoke with at the dealership wouldn’t even budge on pricing to get a sale. The car they had was overpriced by KBB standards and a brand/​make/​model of one of their competitors.
Lame excuse I got was that the dealership sells over 400 cars a month and that I should know the market value (OVERPRICED) of the car. Guess what… money talks and BS walks. I was ready to pay all at once, no BS financing needed. Looks like I might visit their competitor Toyota…

First time I had my 2015 Honda Pilot services here for an oil change. My car was scheduled for a 900am service. I arrived about 9ish and seen a line of cars in the «appointment lane» which is typically normal on a Friday morning. I waited about 20 minutes or so before I had someone greeted me. Ricardo helped me with my service and had given me a friendly greeting! Informed me that there were many cars getting an oil change but would call me as soon as my car was done. It took 30 minutes. Not bad for being so busy in the morning. And aince it was my first time I was given a discount dor my service, which I greatly appreciated because that is the same price I pay at Avery Green Honda in Vallejo.

Ela is my agent, the moment we walked in that door, she welcomed us like we’ve known each other for long. Typical scenario in the dealership, we offered, they countered. re-​offer, countered but at the end of the day, she was very helpful and was very honest with us. She was very patient and entertained us throughout the process. I just recommended her to a friend and thanked me for the good experience.

Another smooth transaction, but this time we made business with Omar, its not everyday that we get to meet an honest and helpful sales rep. We went In and put in less than 2 hours! No shady transaction whatsoever. Also kudos to Aung who made the transaction quicker, he even beat the APR of our Autoloan.

They still do not follow up with customer concerns. Never heard from their service manager when contacted.

I just realized my review was removed. I suppose because I am exposing them for the crooks they really are!
Anyway, I took my Honda in for an oil change and realized the sticker they placed in the windshield for my next oil change was for only 3,000 miles. It really urks me because my owners manual clearly states that an oil change is only suggested ONCE every 5,000 miles. In fact here is the link to the Honda website where it says:
«There is absolutely no benefit in changing your oil more frequently than recommended in your owner’s manual. This will only increase your cost of ownership, and create an unnecessary burden upon the environment by increasing the amount of disposed oil.»
Sounds to me that Honda of Serramonte is all for increasing your cost of ownership and can care less about the environment as long as it pads their pockets! I brought my concerns up to the GM by phone and email and was completely blown off! I would expect this from a shady mechanic but not the Honda dealer!
Get it together guys, there’s no excuse for this. Stop ripping your customers off.

Let me start out by saying that the car that we purchased we love. This is a review based purely on the performance of the dealership itself.
The car buying experience was fine, they were pushy in a passive way (which is to be expected) and they were helpful in finding the right color and trim level that we wanted.
Everything after that has been not great, immediately after purchasing the car, they said there would be a 3 hours wait to have the car cleaned and detailed, we had to make an appointment to come back another day to get it cleaned, after that I kept getting emails asking for the same information over and over again, and over and over again I kept sending it. I am not sure what they did with the information as I got a letter from Honda saying that the information I had sent to the dealership had never been submitted, so I cut the dealership out and went straight through Honda and submitted that information myself and have since had no problems.
There was also a recall on the car. The letter stated that it would take 1 – 2 hours in total to fix the problem, we show up, 3 – 5 hours. (Really Honda? who has 5 hours to do nothing but hang around a dealership)
They were helpful enough after some badgering and asking questions where we finally came to a solution.
Overall, if all you want is to buy a car and expect to have little to no interaction with this dealership afterwards, go ahead.
If you plan to use them after your purchase for services or warranties, try looking for another dealership with better follow-​up, because once they have made that sale, it seems they are pretty done with you.
Still LOVE this car though.

#47 I was having trouble debating between a corolla and a civic. Toyota had better deals, a good service center, and my dad had a good experience buying his car from there a few months ago. Not to mention, this place didn’t have the best reviews.
With the help of my handy-​dandy Unilocal app, I found one car salesman that had good, consistent reviews. I set an appointment to see Chinda Gnean later that day. She was EXTREMELY chill and friendly. She was so chill that it seemed as if I already knew her. I asked for a specific model in a specific color and she was able to pull it out from their lot. It was the first and only car I test drove and I came back the next day to buy it. One of the reasons why I wanted to buy a car from Chinda was because she, herself, had a civic and I could tell from the way she talked about her car that she really loved it.
While we were discussing payments, Chinda was NEVER pushy. She asked me how much I wanted to pay monthly and she did her best to get to that price. Every time I had a request or a question, she would find out and ask without any hesitation. I felt like I could’ve gotten a slightly better price, but that’s okay. Chinda’s customer service really made up for it, plus I was able to get a free oil change and a discount on accessories for my car.
The finance person that took care of my paperwork was David Wong. He was also helpful. He convinced me into getting the extended warranty because it was too good of a deal to pass up. The person I was with was being closed minded but David didn’t act rude at all, which I really appreciate.
David and Chinda were also very good in communicating with me. They contacted me via text and email, plus Chinda sent me a thank you card in the MAIL. Who still gets mail nowadays? The only issue I have is that my loan with them got a bit weird, but David was able to fix it. Also, there wasn’t much of a congratulations — no red carpet or hitting a gong. I was expecting at least a picture with my new whip.
However, I’m very happy with how easy the process was. I’ve had the car for a week now and I keep expecting to get a call from them saying that they messed up and I have to return the car. I just really can’t believe that buying a car was that easy!

First of all, let me just say that I don’t particularly care for the car buying process. Before this, I was driving a 20 year old car that I would have gladly drove into the ground if need be. A lot of these sleezeball tactics don’t work on me. I don’t care if my car looks fresh or not. I had already been to around 11 car lots with quite a few different experiences.
I needed a hatchback to carry some of my gear and I would prefer that it was somewhat good on gas. I liked the Impreza but Subaru Livermore tries to play «cool guy» game and try to make you feel that you are not man enough for their cars. Sorry bro, my ego won’t trick me into paying $ 5K above KBB value for your base model, 4 year old car. Capital Honda and Livermore Honda didn’t take me seriously and must have not realized I was ready to buy that day. Bottom line is, I don’t care for the theatrics. Got a car I need? Good price? Cool, let’s sign some paperwork and bounce because I got shit to do.
In comes Honda Serramonte. I inquired about a 2015 Fit I saw on their website. Chinda got back to me right away and I made the trip over from SJ right after work. We met up, tested out the car, agreed on a reasonable price and got to work finishing the deal. I must have been out of there in an hour, tops. No BS, no switcharoos, no unnecessary delays, no back and forth and so on. She was super cool and didn’t waste my time. Had more salespeople acted like her, I wouldn’t have had to visit so many lots. Finance guy was great too. Thanks guys!

My experience was five star because I have an ignition key that is fragile and it did not get damaged while my truck was being serviced !!
I also was given a ride to and from a local eatery.
Last but not least I got a follow up by e-​mail from a very nice customer relations manager who has gotten my vehicle in for an unscheduled appointment safety recall recently.

I was a bit wary from the all reviews but what dealer has outstanding review anyways. Its a car dealership! I shopped all over the internet and I actually first went to another high volume dealer that gave me an instant offer. (what I thought was a good price but had some requirements that I had to fulfilled to honor the price) I wasn’t too happy. However, the team at Honda of Serramonte gave me an offer I couldn’t refused and had the car ready when I arrived! At the end of it all, I love my new 2015 Civic EXL-​Navigation and was in & out. No more car shopping for a while!
