Acura of Serramonte

I was stressed because my wife’s car had been totaled in an accident and our rental car was about due. We came to Acura to test drive an MDX. We made an appt, but didn’t know who would help. Percy greeted us and after a few minutes I became comfortable knowing I wouldn’t have to fend off the sales pitch. He went through all the details and answered our questions about the car and then let my wife and I take it for a test drive. He offered to take our kids in for hot chocolate. When we got back the kids were in a great mood because of Percy’s hospitality. He made the entire experience easy because of his professionalism and friendly nature. A couple hours later we drove away with our New (used) MDX. We will be taking it to Acura of Serramonte for oil changes, maintenance and more hot chocolate. Thanks you guys!

Went by because I was interested in leasing a car and was definitely impressed by the customer service. Percy was awesome — friendly, genuine, and super helpful. We test drove 2 cars until I settled on the one I wanted and he even helped me drop off my Honda that had reached the end of its lease. Overall great experience thanks to Percy!

I was under the impression that I already had the financing paperwork started for purchasing a specific Acura yesterday, but needed to come in to finalize the paperwork. Shortly after (2 hours) I was given a call to inform me not to come in because they decided to sell the SUV to someone else. I didn’t even haggle on the price, so it was very odd that they said this. Immediately after, the salesperson said he had an Audi and BMW that I would like and I was really pissed off but remained professional with him telling how I already know what kind of vehicle I need and that he should have offered those vehicles to the person who bought the car I thought would be mine at the end of the day. I can’t say that I see the integrity of this business from a moral model — it’s a business, nothing more than that apparently.
I live about 2 hours away and was not pleased at all to hear this — especially when I already decided to spend $ 1500 more at this location than another dealership who had the same vehicle with 8,000 less miles. I figured that since this was an Acura dealership I might have a better experience purchasing an Acura from them.
On top of all of this I called two days in a row to speak with someone about this vehicle before someone finally decided to give me a call. The guy wasn’t aware of the business being exceptionally busy — no reasoning for why I had to wait for so long. I understand that it’s not a perfectly organized world and that there can be many complications on a day-​to-​day business… but all-​together I believe that my individual rating is fair and honest. I am happy to see that other people have found the good side of this business and I really wish that I too could have seen a single percentage of the same thing — had things been more transparent. For the managers, please teach your salespeople not to be so misleading about holding vehicles or implying that a vehicle is already theirs when your policy is first come first serve. I would have been there immediately I was advised that it’s a rat race to be a customer of yours. I cancelled my financing at another location because I was led to believe that you would be taking care of me with this purchase. I won’t be happy to find the additional hard inquiries on my credit score later on; especially as I still need to go around and look for this SUV and finance all over again.

Bought my first Lexus here and happy to say I got the best deal in town (or in the state actually) on it. Everyone was super nice and offered a very relaxed, no pressure, atmosphere. The whole process went vey fast and smooth. Percy was great with answering all my questions and being super patient and helpful. I am pleased to say that buying a car turned out to be a fairly pleasant experience and i would highly reccoemend Acura of Serramonte. and best of all they are dog-​friendly too: D

Bought a used Honda from Ed. Initially worked with Percy, but the day I came it was super busy, so Ed helped me out. Nice guy, down to earth, didn’t play games. The price on the car was good to begin with, the dealership didn’t budge much from it, but they took a few hundred off. Overall a pleasant experience, I’ve bought multiple cars before, and this was one of the better times.

I’m officially part of the ACURA family thanks to Percy the car salesman that sold me my 2012 Acura TL. Originally I went in to look at a used ILX and got to drive 3 different models (ILX, TL, & TLX). Percy was patient in answering all my questions as a new buyer and not pushy. I was a little nervous at first since it was a big investment but I know it was one worth it! I’m looking forward to continue getting my car taken care of at this dealership and feel that I’m in good hands. Thanks again Percy!!!

They do great service, always very helpful with my experiences. Only thing I hate are the prices at times, but hey it’s a dealership so you will get dealership prices I guess. Other than that they are awesome and it’s always helpful when my car is in service and they give a courtesy car in exchange. Great people over there.

Ok, so I feel the need to update my initial review. I decided to check out Acura of Serramonte again. Was greeted by a receptionist and promptly turned over to Victor. He answered all of our questions regarding the RDX. Then we left as we were considering other vehicles as well. After a week, we decided to return to price out the RDX. Victor was busy but turned us over to Dan. Needless to say, I am now a proud owner of a 2016 RDX. Compared the deal with another local Acura dealer and they did not come anywhere close.

I was looking at a BMW 335i for sale here. From the first this was a totally different experience from prior car purchase experiences as I had almost purchased a similar car from a used car dealer in Fresno. My first contact was calling to ask about the car. I spoke with Kat (rika) who was a doll. She provided me excellent information and followed up with me. After determining I was very interested in the car, she was able to work with the GM to hold the car for me as I was driving 3.5hrs from
Fresno to possibly buy it. I got to the dealer and was met by Victor who showed us the car. I fell in love with it and initiated the purchase process. We worked with Efren on the financing and he ended up getting us 8% better interest rate than the other dealer we had worked with. Not only that but he actually got us 3% better than I had been quoted when I prequalified here at Acura of Serramonte. I couldn’t have asked for a more easy/​pleasant process in purchasing my car! Make sure you drink some coffee while you’re there, 10x better than Starbucks!

Percy is incredible. He was nice throughout the whole experience and wasn’t pushy or inconsiderate like some cars salesman are depicted to be. This 2005 Acura TL was my first car purchase and he took care of me. He got down on a personal level and made me feel welcomed. He laid down all my options and was kind to my family that was there. Thank you for a great car and an even greater experience!
One more thing, I want to thank the pretty girl that test drove the car with me. I think Gabby was her name. Even though I didn’t purchase the original vehicle I went there for, she found me an even better vehicle while I was driving. Thank you again!

This place was amazing. Percy was our salesman and he is amazing. He did not pressure us like many others do on other lots. He allowed us to take our time to look at multiple cars and test drive them. When we were ready to purchase he made the process smooth and easy. The best and quickest auto buying experience. I had been looking for a new Acura MDX for some time. On Monday my fiancé called Acura of Serramonte and was pleasantly surprised when he delt with Kat on the phone. She was super friendly and helpful and found us exactly what we were looking for. She also gave us such an amazing price right out the gate. Having done our research we know that the price she gave us was a killer deal. We drove 2 hours just to get to this dealership and were warmly welcomed when we got there. Kat set us up with the sales girl Chau and she was truly amazing! She was funny and made all the paperwork super easy! We also worked with Sadie in parts and she was so sweet and nice. She got us everything we wanted! This is honestly the absolute best car buying experience we have ever had. We will definitely be back here when we buy cars in the future!!!

I’m 20 days into my Acura TLX purchase through Acura of Serramonte from Chau, their internet sales manager.
This is a really nicely managed dealership. I felt like I was at a Four Seasons thanks to Chau, my «concierge». With Chau serving as my focal person, she made sure everything about my experience went beautifully. Pricing was clear, fair (aggressive as well), and the process was smooth and painless. She responded to my incessant questions over text at all hours of the day. She actually made me feel good about asking questions. Other dealers were less transparent and less patient with very basic questions, often directing me to look stuff up online.
Much of my reason for buying this car was Chau’s attentive focus that never crossed the line into pushy or misleading. Had it not been for Chau, I probably would have bought a different car. But Chau made me believe the Acura and the Serramonte brand made for a smarter decision than the other car and dealer on account of the other folks being a bit pushy and a bit less than honest.

My story begins with a damage roof molding. As any car owners, you probably would know every little detail of your own car. I myself was no exception. After I realized that some of the plastic molding was missing. I scheduled an appointment with the dealership and order the parts with my credit card.
When I arrived at the dealership Mara Mueller, the service manager of Acura of Serramonte, greeted me. My first impression of Mara was that she is very friendly, personable to clients. Not only to myself, but other clients as well.
After I explain to Mara what happened to my vehicle and how I already order the parts with my credit card she suggested that this issue with the vehicle may cover by the manufacture warranty. To my surprise, it is. so right there Mara proceed to refund me. To be honest, I was not expecting that.
After the service was completed for my vehicle there was a little minor issue with the installation. Mara offered a loaner vehicle to me, which is the all new TLX, again, I was not expecting to get this type of tailored service from a car dealership. Usually, when you are in a car dealership the general feelings were not so good regardless of what kind of service you need. But Mara definitely changed that feeing for me personally.
Before I drove off that new TLX that Mara offers, she give me a friendly reminder of how easy it is to fell in love with this new TLX because she just purchased one for herself.
Through our conversations, I realized she’s really genuine about what she said about the TLX.
After I test-​drive the new TLX. I said to myself, Mara was right. This new car performed and looked extremely good! I did fell in love with this new car.
When I return to the dealership. I told Mara that she’s right. I fell in love with the TLX. Mara than introduced me to one of her sales professional Chau, another exceptional lady.
After I met with Chau, I expressed how I was moved by the service I received, and how impressive the new TLX is. Chau then showed me all the vehicle options the TLX come with.
Chau is very personable, knowledgeable as well.
Chau totally convinced me on this vehicle. Moreover, she makes the purchasing experience so much more pleasant and easy never in the entire process I felt being push to purchase a vehicle.
This is a perfect example. Service plays a very important roll on a client’s decision.
I was never intended to purchase a vehicle; in fact, my car was only 3 years old with 16,000 miles on it. I don’t need a new car I was just in for repair, but the level of service I received from Mara, and Chau makes me feels that purchasing a vehicle is not a «Needs» is «Wants». If you can make someone «wants» a car is much more powerful that selling someone who «needs» a car.
Now I can finally say that I have friends in the car Industry!

Just bought a used Civic, so far so good, I love the car, I hope it will meet my expectations.

On Sunday November 22, My boyfriend and I came to Serramonte to buy a vehicle. Our goal was to buy a car that we could use for school so, it needed to be affordable. We visited a total of six dealerships that day. Not all of them were great. One was really terrible. But, Acura of Serramonte was the best. They offered the professionalism and kindness you expect from your a car dealership. Acura of Serramonte was the second dealership we visited Sunday but, because it was our first car buying experience we wanted to go to lots of dealerships. At the end of the day we went back because, honestly our salesman Percy was the most truthful, honest, helping gentlemen we met all day. I would recommend going to this dealership! :)

Talk to Percy when you are looking to buy a car. He provides no pressure and he is very helpful. He is also very happy to fulfill your special requests. I wanted a new 2016 MDX with everything in it and my special requirement was that it only have 2 miles on it. He made it happen for me!
Also, I have been taking my 2001 MDX in to the service department since November of 2000 (349,300 miles and counting). Mura and Matt in the service department really know how to take care of you and will not sell you anything you do not need. They truly «advise“and let you decide.
At 188,000 miles I needed a new transmission (I have a tendency to tow more than what is recommended). I thought the dealership was going to cost more than a transmission shop so I took the car to the local transmission shop. Long story short, I took the car back to the dealer and paid less for a new transmission than any transmission shop quoted.
