A-1 Rhino Linings

I entrusted my brand new truck to A-​1 today. The truck came back in perfect condition. The service and workmanship were awesome. I could not be happier with the spray in bed-​liner. I would definitely return for any additional work.

Chris and Jim were very professional and helpful. I was impressed how they removed all the screws in the truck bed before spraying it then refastening the screws after the liner dried. They even sprayed the tail gate access panel separately so the panel can be removed for maintenance in the future. I doubt others would do the same. I am very impressed and pleased with the results.
A-​1 also sells tonneau covers and I will probably be buying one from them in the future.

These guys are awesome! Called them up made an appointment for a few days later. When I showed up they were a bit backed up but assured me that they would have me done by the end of the day. They gave me a ride to Bart and picked me up a few hours later when my truck was done. They really did a great job too! My truck looks great!

My bed liner on my 2014 ram was scratched and looked tore up.
My truck is new. I knew I had to put a bed liner in. I researched it and Rhino lining was the best.
You can put a mat on top after but to do it right spray is best.
Anyway, saw Jim’s reviews. Was impressed. Called. Very responsive knowledgable and friendly.
I don’t trust mechanics nor auto body people that is unless they are smarter than me in their trade.
Jim is totally competent and I was able to relax because I knew I was in good hands.

I just bought a 2016 GMC Canyon and needed lining to protect the bed. So I did a little research on what is available for bed lining. There is anything from carpet to plastic drop-​in bedliner. But the best kind is to spray on Rhino Bed Liner. It protects the paint from scratching or getting dented and prevents rust.
So I was referred by a coworker to come to A-​1 Rhino Lining. I called and was able to set up an appointment for the very next day. It was estimated that it would take about four or five hours to finish my truck but A-​1 finished in three hours! Really good and friendly service. At least $ 150 to $ 200 cheaper than many of the other shops that install Rhino Lining.
If you own a truck and want to protect the bed, I recommend taking your truck to this shop.

After a little research I decided to get a spray on bed liner instead of a drop in. After a little more research I found that Jim at A1 Rhino lining was the best in the business. I set up an appointment with Jim for a Saturday to get a bed liner installed on my Tacoma.
I had to postpone the appointment twice and Jim was completely understanding about it. When my wife and I were finally able to make it out there (2 hour drive), Jim was basically the most friendly person I’ve met, and greeted us like we were good friends. We discussed the options for the bed liner and he told us what needed to be done for prep and how the spray liner worked. It was apparent to me that he knew what he was doing and I realized that other companies could easily cut corners and do a poor install. Jim doesn’t cut corners and puts in extra prep work if it needs to be done.
Before installing the liner, Jim volunteered to drop us at the mall nearby so we could do some shopping and eat while we waited. The install took about 3 hours because they had to remove some glue that was on the rails from the previous owners. It was a lot of extra work for them, but they did it anyway because it needed to be done.
Once it was done being sprayed we returned to the shop and Jim let us in the back to see it. It was applied perfectly even and looks fantastic.
I am so happy about this liner, and happy that my money went to support Jim’s business and not somewhere else. I just wish there were more business run like this.
So if you’re shopping for a bed liner, go see Jim. He can also spray lining on panels, or anything else you want it on.

Do your research and you’ll come to find that the brand of liner is much less important than the technician applying the liner. I chose A-​1 because of their raving reviews here on Unilocal.Well, I just picked up my 2015 Dodge Ram and the entire experience was perfect. Chris and Jim were extremely informative and honest. In the morning, Chris walked me through the entire truck bed to talk about what they would do and my options. In the afternoon, Jim walked me through the finished product and to talk about areas that are prone to abuse. Great customer service and a perfect finished product. I will definitely recommend A-​1 to all my friends and will be back for any liner needs in the future.

Jim and his crew were FABULOUS! I had them rhino liner the entire exterior of my Sprinter 2500 Cargo Van in an effort to improve its appearance and inhibit progression of the rust. I’d gotten estimates for the rust work alone exceeding $ 7k from other places. Painting the van in a traditional way would have cost ~$ 10k. A rhino liner exterior was a huge gamble for me but I knew, at a minimum, the van exterior would be protected for many years to come. Wow… was i pleasantly surprised!!! Jim was a pleasure to work with; not only is he incredibly personable but more importantly, highly professional. His attention to every detail was impressive and the finished product FAR exceeded my expectations. Spraying an enormous Sprinter van is no small feat; i recommend Jim and his staff to any and everyone looking for an impeccable rhino liner job from a great crew and at a very reasonable price to boot. I have used A-​1 on 2 different occasions for both a used truck and a brand new truck. They have been great at explaining the process and exceeding my expectations on the quality of their work. I now have to travel across the bay to protect the bed of my trucks and limit the slip for my dogs. They helped me choose the best solution based on my options.

This is the second truck Jim has sprayed for me. The material is good but more importantly the sprayer is equally or more important. Ditto on the other reviews as far as knowledge and customer service. He asked how I was using the truck to determine how hard/​soft is should be. A ride to the BART station and back my truck! Great guy too!

Jim at A-​1 Rhino Linings is our HERO. After 2 failed attemps at a Rhino Lining Dealer in Petaluma, Ca., Jim stepped in and was able to make it right. The Rhino Lining Dealer (Rich’s Auto Paint and Body) In Petaluma sprayed it once, scrapped it down and sprayed it again with the same soft, black tar. It would not dry. Jim spent 3 days scrapping the tar like mess in the bed of my NEW TRUCK. He then re-​sprayed it perfectly. Jim is the Van Gogh of spray on bed linings. You get a perfect job because he is a skilled craftsman. Thank you, Jim, for your hard work and the great job.

Jim is great! Our truck is brand new an my husband’s pride and joy. We are both picky perfectionists. Lucky for us, so is Jim. I called in the morning and he said he could take care of our truck the same day at noon. I dropped it off and Jim gave me a ride to the BART station (such service). The truck was ready at 5pm, as promised. It looks great! I highly recommend A-​1 Rhino Linings.

Wow, kinda surprised that there aren’t any reviews… Anyways, Rhino Lining is a treatment usually sprayed on the bed and inner walls of a truck. Of course there are many other applications, but this probably the most popular.
My situation was a bit different. We have a van that’s old and starting to get rust on the roof. Instead of investing tons of money to get it refinished, we opted to just have it Rhino Lined. It’s cheaper and will last longer. This is probably not desirable for most people, but we mainly use the car as a work van, so this solution was highly effective. It cost us about $ 600 to get the roof and rim above the doors and windows lined. Of course, cheap paint jobs could have sufficed, but the finish wouldn’t last and the cancerous rust would be back in a matter of a year or two. All in all, very satisfied with Jim’s (owner and solo worker) work. Four stars because the job took a day longer than he promised.

They just sprayed my new Silverado and did a great job. Neat, no overspray, ready when they said it would be, and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. This is the third truck A-​1 Rhino Linnings has done for me and they’re great.
