Had the breakfast special, eggs, sausage with a side of waffle. The best value on the menu, the waffle was the star. There were other things on the menu but knew I wanted a waffle and decided to stay with breakfast. The place was packed and the servers did a great job of greeting you at the door. The food came very fast and was fresh and hot. I wish they were in Chicago!

Ok, Stopped here for the first time(myself) with my baby the morning of leaving town from visiting the St. Louis area for my b-day weekend and maaaaan, listen!!! This place was thee BOMB!!! The waffles were excellent and I think they’re sprinkling crack in that batter, cause I’ve been FEINING for it since having it!!! Seriously though, it’s great food at a very reasonable price. I wish someone would open one in my current city of Champaign, IL because ummm… MerryAnn’s Diner, Denny’s(ugh) and Perkins would be in serious trouble. Gone and treat yourself if you see one. YAAAASSSS!!!

I was in need of some good old fashioned waffles for a breakfast by myself and this was just what I needed. It was super crowded for this tiny place which means good news of course. The staff was super helpful and polite, I loved this place. The only reason I took 1 star away is because it couldn’t been a little cleaner. The floor was pretty gross, and not just dirt, but tons of wet napkins at my feet. Other than that, great breakfast spot

My Husband and I went to this restaurant today for lunch. Every server was complaining out loud for all to hear their dislikes about their jobs and fellow employees! Our food was fair, the waffle was under cooked and to end our unpleasant experience, our lunch bill was $ 29.00! Just a little pricey for lunch at a waffle house! Pretty sure it won’t happen again!!!

I love Waffle House, but not this one… as soon as I walked in the door I noticed how dirty the place was… food under 3 tables, flies all over the place… I ordered my usual Waffle & Hash browns w/mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, ham, & jalapeños…I got A MUSHROOM… this is the worst WH that I’ve ever been to

Great place to get eggs and bacon at anytime during the day. Customer service was great and the food was prepared in minutes. Love hitting this place while traveling on the road.

Great service of flavorless, GI distress-inducing food-like products with a smile! I really wanted to like this place. I am a huge fan of all things breakfast. The porous, flat waffles made me want to cry. The hash browns would have been good by themselves, but I made the mistake of adding cheese(which turned out to be a slice of american) and chili. While the servers were pleasant and welcoming, it wasn’t enough to make up for the sad food, or the pukes that followed.

A friend recommended this place to me since she used to eat here a lot with her brother when she was living across the street from the restaurant in Collinsville. I couldn’t go wrong with the food just a little annoyed that they didn’t have turkey sausage because not everyone eats pork and is a vegetarian. I did like the waffles since they are freshly made right there behind the counter. I would like to see them offer turkey sausage for those who don’t eat pork for religious and dietary reasons. I also would like to see them offer free refills on the orange juice and lemonade. They also may want to consider revamping the restaurant to give it a fresh look since many places are doing that to keep up with the current time. I also noticed too many panels with their house rules on it which should be condensed to one general list that’s summarized. Keep in mind that it’s not exactly fit for large groups since it’s kind of small so it may be ideal for no more than 4 – 5 people. Overall, service was good.

My favorite breakfast place when I travel away from west coast! It jsut can’t go wrong with blueberry and walnut mixed waffle~ And good coffee with reasonalbe price. This location, I don’t see they list all the waffle on the menu, but you can definitely ask for them. And my friend ordered continental breakfast which is pretty ok. Love waffle house.

Mediocre at best. Waffles were generic. I ordered peanut butter waffles and I got one thin waffle with a small handful of peanut butter chips on top. Hash browns were soggy/soft. Pepper topping was just sliced pickled jalapeños, straight out of the jar, thrown on top.

I love Waffle House, but this one was easily one of the best. My party of 6 all sat up at the bar on a busy morning. We ordered a variety of food: eggs, bacon, hash browns, biscuits & gravy, waffles, toast, & drinks. The service was fast & friendly. The food was phenomenal. Even the cooks came over to ask us how everything was. And let’s be honest nobody can beat Waffle House’s hash browns.

Service was RATCHED!!! Air condition was on blast. The food was cold before it even hit my mouth. Our waffles were disgusting and the batter looked like it had been sitting all day uncovered with flies flying around it. Somebody call the health inspector because I GUARANTEE this place has some violations! Never AGAIN!!!

The Waffle House is a great place to enjoy the food that is not good for you but tastes so awesome! Even though I think the best time to grab a bite to eat here is after 1am on the weekend its great for normal times too. The hash browns that are loaded to the max are awesome and the service is always pretty good and your order is always served to you fast and hot. If your a people watcher it doesn’t get any better than this early in the morning on the weekends. The cook there on the weekends on the night shift has been there forever and does a great job. I have eaten there other times and the food was still good but not like it is when he is on the grill. I don’t know his name but hes the man that you want to cook your order. Great place and I will continue to recommend this place as well as eat there.

Oh my goodness, how I wish there was a Waffle House anywhere on the West Coast! But nooooo, the owners don’t want to pay CA minimum wage. I swear to you, they’d make mad bank if they opened one here. In late August 2009, my dad took me and my sister on a cross country road trip. This was the first Waffle House any of us had ever set foot in. We hadn’t a clue as to what to expect. The waitress was super friendly and very patient with these weird So Cal creatures. When we were there, they had a breakfast special: a waffle or biscuit and gravy, bacon or sausage patty, grits or hash browns, toast, eggs. Um I think that was it. Anyway, two of those orders,(we tried one of everything), fed the three of us. AND there was leftover food. All for around $ 14??? No way! That can’t happen in CA! Since grits aren’t really a CA thing, our kind waitress prepared ours how she likes them; with salt, pepper, and sugar. I’m not a fan. But everything else was the best. What tripped us out the most was that *everything* was made right then and there. Places like this don’t really exist in CA. =[ I’d have to get rolled around if there was a Waffle House in the state of California. Yup.

Waffle House: home of the all-carb-breakfast-for-dinner. Smothered, covered, chunked is the best way to recover after a day climbing at City Museum. Thank god they don’t have these in my neck of the woods, or I’d be absolutely huge.
