Spring Garden Family Restaurant

We live only blocks from here, and honestly, I thought – forever – that it was a Chinese joint. It’s not, but it is GOOD. I’m not a fan of anything other than their breakfast, but their breakfast IS, typically, great! I highly recommend the horseshoe if you aren’t dieting and don’t care to eat the rest of the day.
This last breakfast trip was a little disappointing because of untoasted toast and tons of raw onion in my skillet, but one bad breakfast trip out of 10 isn’t killing their chance for a good rating. They were insanely busy, and it was hot in there, and while the waitresses and cooks had a LOT going on, they were still friendly and accommodating. Even filled my guy’s sister’s water bottle before we left, just to be kind.

Went there for breakfast it was great the prices we’re great the food was very good service was excellent left their full highly recommend

It is what it is, small family restaurant, not very clean, food was just OK, but the service is pretty good. It’s kind of off the path for us, so I doubt we’ll be back, but it’s one of the few breakfast sit down places in the area, so might be worth checking out for newcomers.

This is my second visit. Once for lunch and once for breakfast. Very good experience both times. Very clean and good service. Food was great. Cooked perfectally. Nice home town place.

Delightful! !! We were driving thru town headed to STL needing nourishment. Fresh flavorful non greasy food. Friendly and accomodating. Casual, relaxed and spotless. Excellent variety on the menu and very affordable.

Would of never expected this place to have synch awesome food! Little hole in wall but everything is homemade and huge portions our family hasn’t had a bad meal yet there from breakfast, lunch or dinner foods! Great waitresses to.

I love this place the people are so nice they know me by name they all love me and i love them such a family friendly place they also wrote a card for us when my grandma died and said how sorry they were and they were going to miss her so much. That just really got to me that they would get us a card the whole place is clean including the bathroom. Keep it up guys I will be a forever customer I will never stop going here

Food is great. Staff friendly. Clean. Breakfast is unbelievable. By the time you leave you will feel like family. Prices are good.

This place has great food all of the food is good the restaurant is very clean the people are so nice and the food is delivered fast! love it they have Pepsi products now by the way
