I really do love this store. I find it sad that there are very few book stores anymore. I guess some people just don’t appreciate print as much as they should. This Barnes & Noble is pretty much like all the others. The people are polite, they have good prices and a decent variety of games and puzzles. The only bad part to me is the Starbucks inside each one of them. That is some of the worst coffee around.

This is an excellent bookstore in a large outdoor mall with bunches of good restaurants and other stores around. The only thing I would ask is that I lived closer to it. There are plentiful outlets in the café for us students, and the place is clean and reputable. The wifi isn’t blazing, but still significantly above par for free wifi. This is THEPLACE to go study for finals.

I confess. I love the smell of books! While I really dig the vibe of small, funky, independent bookstores, those just aren’t readily available around here. And so I have found the reasons to appreciate Barnes & Noble too. First, the smell of books. Second, books to buy. Third, it’s clean and everything is easy to find. Fourth, um… you can’t deny that a built-in café(with awesome cheesecake) is always a good thing.

I could literally live in this place! all the comfortable seating areas, the smell of Star Bucks and food being prepared in the café and plenty of material from any subject matter at your finger tips, who would want to leave? I check in here often, and I always find a sale or a book of the month/new release that I am interested in. This location is quite, cozy, and downright treasure trove of aisle to explore. If you have young children, there is an are for them to stay busy, while you can walk around as well as a music area with head phones to listen music. I always loose track of time once I arrive!

This is a good bookstore and a comforting place. They have a children’s area with books and games? obviously books of all sorts for adults, and snacks and drinks. Very clean, courteous staff, soft background music.

We had a very unhappy experience at collierville, tn location this weekend. My 3 children and 3 adults entered to go to the storttime area during an innocent scavenger hunt celebrating my nephews birthday. We were not disruptive and simply entered and went to back area. A member of the team asked us if we were doing a scavenger hunt(assuming she saw our papers in hand) and we answered yes. She told us «scavenger hunts are not allowed in our store. «We stated that we are not causing any problems and was going to read a story. We read our story and on our way out, they were hanging a sign on the front door that read…“scavenger hunts not allowed». We asked why, and was told that photography wasn’t allowed. Okay. Just say that then. Very rude. Very very rude to our family. This is a public bookstore at a mall last time I checked.

Walking into a bookstore is something that makes me indescribably happy. I love just walking into any bookstore, but especially a Barnes and Nobles since that usually means I am treating myself to a new rather than a used book. I love this bookstore because I know where everything is and it’s just fun to walk around in. You can also just sit and read, which is wonderful.

I’m a nook reader so I don’t spend much time in their stores but I was having an issue with my nook and decided to drive to the store instead of talking to support because I was pretty sure I just needed a new charger. Walked in and was told that the nook lady was out but the cashier could help. He plugged in a new charger and sure enough that was the problem. I pulled our my wallet and he said it was on the house!

It’s a chain… nice bookstore, comfortable atmosphere and helpful, fairly knowledgeable service. I like the coffee area. They have nice deserts, sandwiches and other lite fare to choose from. The coffee quality and choices are what you’d find at a Starbucks. The reason I like this particular Barnes & Noble is it’s close to my house for one but it’s also somewhat unknown. What I mean by that statement is it has it’s nice little pockets of comfortable couches and quiet areas you can go to and relax, read a book or the paper while you enjoy a beverage of your choice unlike the typical«Friends» type of Café, which is generally loud and packed. Sometimes I just want to relax and read the paper without a wait to find a comfortable seat or couch to crash on for my morning coffee.
