While I have yet to find «fresh never frozen» meats here yet (not saying that they don’t offer them) I am extremely happy to be able to purchase local grain fed beef, pork and sheep here.
The prices are excellent, and the cheese, beef jerky and gift boxes are popular mail order items. The cheese wheels we have purchased were super cheap and delicious, as well as the jerky. In fact I have heard that the jerky was mentioned in a New York Times article that caused a whole bunch of orders.
The store is very clean, friendly staff and they have a soda fountain as well. Great place to pick up local meats and support the Aggie students in this department at the same time. I always feel very good about cooking with this local «grain fed» protein.
