The Texas A&M bookstore scammed me out of $ 120. First of all I thought I was purchasing a hard cover text book. Nowhere in the title or description did it say I was only getting an eBook access code. I don’t like eBooks because they sometimes expire after only one semester and I also cannot resell them. After I found out it was an eBook I was not happy but thought I would just live with it for the semester. I redeemed the code online and the book that came up was the 8th edition. On their website they had it listed as the 13th edition. A friend had previously taken the course and offered to give me the 8th edition for free but since the bookstore advertised this one as 13th edition I thought I would pay for the newer version. But no. It was the 8th edition and since I, unknowing, had ordered an eBook they would not refund me my money because I had already redeemed it. There was no way to tell I would be getting the 8th edition until after it was redeemed so it is ridiculous that they wont refund me my money once I realized I wasn’t getting what I had paid for. So in conclusion, they sold me an eBook without ever telling me I was getting an eBook and not a hard copy, and then when I redeemed it and it wasn’t the edition they had advertised they wouldn’t refund me my money. If a company advertises something and a customer pays money for that item then they should get what is advertised. If it was a mistake or false advertising the customer should get their money back. I will no longer be getting my books or anything else from this store.

Really? No one has reviewed the bookstore?! Well I don’t know where to start now! Truthfully, I never bought books here when I was student because I was always able to find them cheaper at the off campus stores. But, I will say the amount of Aggie merchandise is outstanding! Way more then you’d ever find at the other outfitter creation stores. They care several higher quality name brands too. Ladies– the women’s selection is great! If you want something sporty yet still flattering, come here! It may cost a little more but with brands like Columbia, Jansport, and Under Armor, I think it’s worth it. I also this it’s great how many Aggie written books you can find here. They often host book signings by former classmen who have authored books. With the remodeling of the MSC, a full size convenient store and a Starbucks with lounge have been added. Really great place to take visitors. Fair warning on gamedays though… the place gets extremely packed, but thankfully they set up line control at the registers so help get people on their way.
