Good stuff! This place is a great Chinese take out. I usually judge if a place is good by their beef and broccoli.
Also you can choose how many fortune cookies you want!

So far my favorite Chinese place in South Florida. Fresh taste, Fresh ingredients. Eggplant w garlic sauce is a favorite. Egg rolls are yummy. General tsoa chicken is also delish. A little more money than some other places, but you get what you pay for.

Great lunch specials here (and they run the specials through the weekend so you get the amazing deals all week!) — you get the main course, rice, and a canned soda for less than $ 10 if you order the lunch special between 11 and 3.
Tiny space (we’re talking 2 tables small) so much better for take out or delivery. Nice service every time we’ve come here and much better food then most of the Chinese food places in this area.

This was my «go-​to» place for fast Chinese take-​out for the past 3 years. I believe it was owned by a young man who drove a gray Mercedes. Very good service, the orders were always correct and the prices were reasonable.
Well, the prices and the service are still good but the food has really been a huge disappointment the past 3 times we’ve ordered from there. The Pork Egg Foo Young is always soggy, not crispy as it had always been, and the spare-​ribs are now covered in this sloppy-​sweet barbecue sauce that is disgusting. We literally threw out the entire large order because no one wanted them.
I guess they changed owners or chefs because the food is no where near as good as it used to be. We will now have to travel a bit further for decent Chinese takeout.

I mean this was pretty underwhelming for nearly 70 $ of food. It lacked flavor. I’ve ordered from here before and it’s been pretty good. I know it’s just Chinese food but there are good and bad Chinese restaurants. Perhaps they had an off night.

Very bad customer service, they are rude and do not care about the customer feelings. They give me the incorrect order 2 times and refused to correct it.

Since I moved to Florida seven months ago I have gone through many a Chinese restaurant. Just when I was ready to give up I found this place. The food was really good! The closest this new yorker is going to get to authentic Chinese food. Everything was cooked well and nothing was bland. I’m so happy to have a go to place for my Chinese fix the only thing is I wish is that they delivered!

I have ordered from Bamboo Wok many times and I’m never disappointed. The staff is friendly and service is fast. The eggrolls are hot and crispy. The shrimp with broccoli has lots of plump shrimp and perfectly cooked broccoli. The only thing that could up this to 5 stars is if they delivered.

We have been ordering here for years. By far the best Chinese food in the north broward area. The food is always hot and prepared quick. You get a free soda with each meal if you pick it up. It is great that there are employees that take the orders that you can understand and ask questions too. The peanut noodles are to die for.

The very best Chinese food New York style down here! Me and my family had it for the first time tonight and let me tell you I don’t need to look around any longer for a good Chinese meal!

We ordered from here the other night and the food is really good. They always get your order right and you never really have to wait longer than the time they tell you. The guy that always works the front counter is really nice and is funny when you go in there enough. They all look like they are in a rush ha but I guess that’s normal at a really fast paced restaurant. Definitely would recommend to friends as I was by one of recommended by one of mine!

My go to Chinese take out spot. Love that they use white meat in their sesame and general tso chicken.

I have been ordering from here for years! The only good Chinese food around. My daughter loves it. The service is fast and the food is hot and fresh. I love the vegetable lo mein, general Tso chicken, chicken and brocc, and egg rolls. I highly recommend this place.

After trying a bunch of tasteless Chinese food places, we finally found bamboo wok!
Similar to the Chinese food back home (NJ), tastes great, and good size portions.
Definitely worth it!
The only downside is that they don’t deliver.

This place is SO beyond delicious when it comes to american/​ny style chinese food. So good in fact that whenever I’ve eaten other chinese food I compare it to bamboo wok. I’ve been living in california for a year and although there’s more authentic chinese food here I could literally shed a tear when I think about how much I miss this place! Whenever I’m in town I will be coming here for sure.

I am not sure what qualifies their Chinese food as «NY style» (and I’m a native NYer), but the food here is really good! I ordered the shrimp egg foo young dinner, which comes with pork fried rice, egg roll, and soup. The portions were generous! My husband had the sweet and sour white meat chicken dinner (and it really was all white meat) and it was tasty as well. The place seems pretty clean and my order was promptly cooked. I took off a star as they don’t deliver. I’ll be ordering from here again.

A long time ago I used to get takeout from this place quite often. I stopped because the food was very bland & just not that good. Last night on my way home from work I decided to give them another try.
The person who took my order was very nice. I asked him a question about an item & he was not sure of the answer & he put me on hold to get the correct info. I appreciated that he took that extra step. He was young but very professional & helpful.
I normally am not a hot & sour soup fan. This soup had loads of mushrooms which I loved & had great flavor. It was spicy but not overpowering. I ordered this for a friend but it was good.
I ordered the steamed chicken & veggies. It is a large serving & can easily be shared by two. The white meat chicken was thinly sliced & the veggies were very fresh. They steamed it perfectly.
I am glad I gave Bamboo Wok another try. I know it’s hard to mess up steamed chicken & veggies but this was very good.
They have another store on Glades Rd in Boca & that Bamboo Wok is awesome.

I really like this place and my family at HOME said the same. I enjoy this Chinese because they cook in extreme high heat true Chinese cooking. Excellent prices, very clean, this guys look very busy so you might get fast service.

I work nearby and a few of my coworkers and I have been ordering from here for 2 years. Its always hit or miss. I usually get the Buddah’s delight and 3 times I have had to bring it back because the brown sauce is coagulated and gelatin like. They never once apologize. I finally decided to write a review because the last time I ordered and had to bring it back, I actually stood there and watched them cook. I was appalled by how dirty this place is and the employees. The guy who was taking orders, talking on the phone, was touching money, cash register and all of a sudden walks over to make wontons without washing his hands!!! He just placed the little square on his palm and filled them, rolled them without even thinking twice.
They also have a little «dine in» area, look at how filthy the place is! GROSS
