Chipotle Mexican Grill

This is like the 3^rd time my mom and I have been to the location and it is sub par. The chips were stale and didn’t have the usual salt and line flavor that I look forward to. The guac at this location sucked. Also has no flavor. They skimped on everything. It wasn’t my usual pile in my bowl and nothing was really actually hot. I will not return to this location again. It was terrible. And I’m still hungry…

We ate here twice while staying nearby. The amount of lettuce and chicken on the salads were unacceptable. Not even ½ of a scoop and just a handful of lettuce. When we brought it to their attention, they were rude about it.
We do not recommend this place.

Let me start by saying I am a huge chipotle fan. I eat chipotle just about everywhere I go. This one location is definitely the exception to the rule.
I cannot say this with enough conviction… THIS IS THE WORST CHIPOTLE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! The service here is extremely poor, the majority of the employees are not friendly at all, and are very slow. I am always shocked to read good reviews as I have been here a number of times and it seems every visit is worse than the last.
The food is mediocre at best, as well as they do not serve you chipotle sized portions, and will usually skimp out as much as they can from you. You will find yourself asking for more of everything and then dealing with the employees looking at you in disgust as if you just asked for their firstborn child.
The restaurant itself is also typically filthy. I have never seen anyone clean the tables or floors, and usually about half of them are covered with food. As I sit here this very second, every table adjacent to me is covered with food. This place is gross.
It’s hard to express how bad this chipotle location is, and after many visits I can finally say this is the last straw. I will never come back to this location, and will warn anyone who thinks about it. I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed…

Not the same consistent chipotle I use to enjoy. Rice was under cooked. The girl who helped me was nice but she seemed flustered. A small line formed and she was making an employees burrito and so a few of us had to wait then she asked for help and it took a while for someone to come help her. The girl who came to help her was complaining as she walked up to the line about being busy and kept loudly/​rudely yelling for meat to the cook who wasn’t there.

This place is always busy it seems, but their food is good I like the bowls. I have done online order a few times. First time it was cold and didn’t get the order correct. Second time it was good. Workers are always nice.

Love Chipotle!!! Especially this location, even if the line is out the door, it moves very fast!!! Plus, the people are very friendly :)

How could you give this place less than 4 stars?
After reading a few reviews, I was really debating stopping by here for a fast dinner. Located in a small strip mall with a few other shops, I thought this particular Chipotle location was very nice. Lots of stainless steel and raw unfinished wood. Ordering your food is fairly straight forward — let them know what you want, what kind of meat, salsas, sauces, cheese. Pretty hard to mess up, I would think. Well, unless you’re a total idiot who doesn’t know what they want.
Ordered the bowl, with carne asada beef, with both red and green salsas, a smidge of cheese, and a big handful of lettuce. Once I got to the table, I gave it a good splash of the smoked chipotle hot sauce. Once I tucked in and got going, I was in my happy place. The beef was tender as well as very generous portioned. The mix of the red and green salsas really gave it all a tangy/​zesty flavor. I washed it all down with an Arnold Palmer, made by your truly at the soda fountain.
Yes, I did get there a little early, and only had to wait for 1 customer in front of me. As I was finishing up, I did notice that the line had grown considerably longer. Like up to the front door longer. I guess that would be a big put off for someone in a hurry to get their grub on.
All in all, I really enjoyed the food as well as the fast friendly service at this particular Chipotle location. 4 outta 5 stars from me. If I’m ever in Frezz again, I’ll be sure to stop by for a fast meal.
* Bonus tip — if you’re walking up Shaw Ave. to the Save Mart Center to catch a concert, I’d cross the street to the campus side before walking the 3 – 4 blocks. We walked most of it on the other side, near the off campus apartments. Kinda dicey in some areas, almost got hit by a bike rider on the sidewalk, and got an ear full of horrible Rap music when walking past the frat house.

Chipotle is a great place to go for a fairly clean, quick meal. Really happy about their conversion to non-​GMO food! I’ve been on a roller coaster with Chipotle where I want to go all the time for a while, and then I hit a lull and get burned out. I’m currently enjoying Chipotle again since I started getting their salad. It’s basically a burrito bowl with lettuce on the bottom, but I really like the vinegar based dressing that comes with it. Adds a nice flavor to my usual: brown rice, black beans, veggies, sofritas, mild salsa, corn salsa, sour cream, cheese. Prefer this location over the others in town.

I like chipotle I wish I could eat more of it everyday without getting fat. In fact my mouth is drooling as I’m typing up my review about my delicious burrito! Lol. They do everything right here at this chain hands down. I like their organization, I got nothing bad to say bout them or their food or their long lines cuz I’ll wait forever for their salads and their tacos and burritos, and their sofritas! Yummy! So there you have it I’m a chipotle lover!

Very poor customer service! Were treated poorly they acted like they were feeding us for free!!!
I’ll never ever return maybe if your Mexican try not and go there! We were discriminated I’m calling their corporation or management even though I doubt they will listen…

If I could give less than one star I would. Ordered $ 900 of food for an event at my place of employment. The 2 meat «spread» for 75 people…$ 974 with tax. I ordered on Friday afternoon for Monday pickup. I explained to the person taking the order that the last time we ordered from them, it wasn’t ready on time and we discovered they left out part of the order when we were setting it out (had to drive back for the omitted items). I told her, it is very important for it to be ready on time and complete, she noted this on the order. So, of course, had to wait 15 minutes at the restaurant beyond our pick up time because it wasn’t ready. REALLY??? The beans leaked all over the bag, and the floor, the packaging was terrible. We will NEVER order from Chipotle again. Hugely INCOMPETENT.

I purchased two chicken salads this evening from Chipotle in Clovis.
I honestly dont know why I return to this location after all of the bad experiences that I’ve had over the past few years.
One thing that they can’t ever seem to master is putting the salad dressing in the bag.
Two salads and only one dressing. I usually watch them for this to make sure that they put tty hem in because I’ve been shorted so many times.
But, I saw the server place the two dressings near the check out person but when I got home, SURPRISE! Only one dressing!
Then, when we started to eat we found the chicken was burnt! I guess that is what happens when you have lax management.
I will try to post a pic of the chicken. Out of thev scoop that is given to each order maybe a third was edible.
Overall, I usually like Chipotle but this location needs new management.

They are busy. They usually are, yet they are definitely not as busy as I usually see them. They were not working like the well oiled machine that typically is chipotle. There seemed to be dissension among the ranks. The cooking team were too busy talking to hear what the front line call out orders. They were out of beans, fajitas, two salsas, two meats… Then there were staff complaining they were supposed to be on break… Eventually just left the line (don’t blame them). Then after waiting 12 minutes to get to where I placed my order, I waited at each stop (meat & fajitas, salsa) and then to top it off, I had been waiting so long for fajitas, the gal reached behind the table and grabbed a quick bit of fajitas and threw it on my burrito (yeah, thanks for the two slices of peppers and two onions)… And then 1.95 for about two tablespoons of guac? Really? The guy ahead got a full thick line of guac on his burrito AND salad!
Finally I get to the register to pay and no one is there!!! A few gals were talking by the door to the kitchen. About three minutes later she finally came out to ring me up… All in all it took 28 minutes and $ 14 to get my food.
Get home to enjoy my burrito… yeah, the burrito was broken. :(now instead of a burrito I had a bowl of ingredients and the bag leaked… I’m sure my car is gonna smell like chipotle for a while. So disappointed with the visit. Didn’t feel valued as a customer. Didn’t feel the value was worth what I paid… a part of me wanted to walk out as I waited at the register and leave my burrito and to just forget the whole thing…

This place is quick — whether you order online or stand in line at the restaurant. It has proven much more accurate in fulfilling online orders than the other local Chipotle locations.
The place is always clean, and while tables and parking may be difficult to find (due to how busy the place is during peak hours), the atmosphere is nice for pick up or dine in.
I was disappointed to learn during my last visit that there is now a $ 3.50 surcharge if you want to order a quesorito… which essentially adds a tortilla and some melted cheese to a burrito order. Considering that a heaping scoop of quacamole is less than $ 2.00, this seems extremely steep. The cashier said it was a corporate decision. It still disappoints me to the level that I must remove one star from what would otherwise be a 5 star review. Cleanliness, friendly service, delicious food… are all consistent and therefore, I give them a solid four stars.

Went to eat here for dinner last night because we like the fact that we can get a lot of food for a reasonable price. However I have to say the food was far from enjoyable. The rice and beans in my chicken burrito were hard and undercooked and my chicken was chewy. I even had to ask them to put more chicken because the scoop the employee had put it was a sorry scoop. They hardly put any of their undercooked rice in my girlfriends veggie bowl which she also told me that the veggies were too, undercooked. Now I’m the kind of person who would rather have quality over speedy service and from what I experienced, there is no quality at this chipotle location. I seriously recommend reading the «not recommend comments» below. A lot of them have similar complaints like mine. Either this place needs to change how they cook their food or they are going to lose customers because I’m already considering not going back to this location. I can spend my money at a place that’s actually going to cook their food properly.

Another fail thanks for the wilted lettuce. I almost gagged she I took a bit of my online ordered burrito. Some one needs to replace the manger of this place. Worst chipotle and service of any I’ve been to and I love me some chipotle. Please fire the manger so I can get good food again

Probably the best location out of the Fresno/​Clovis area.
They’re usually always busy from open until close. Have even gone in at unconventional eating times of the day (3:30 pm) and have seen the line to the entrance.
They give you healthy portions of what you order and don’t slack on amount. They (rarely) can be quick to get you in and out. Everything tastes delicious, have never had a problem with the food.
I typically order online and then pick up in store. Have had some instances where my food wasn’t ready at the promised time. They have the consistency of your doctor’s office. You know, when you make an appointment then after 45 minutes after the agreed upon time, the nurse finally calls you back to wait another 30 minutes? I exaggerate, but I order online so I don’t have to wait in line.
Parking is the worst part about this location.
The good: great portions and solid tasting food
The bad: they are slow as balls, parking will make you curse whatever god you worship

Always great fresh food. Always consistent.
We always get the burrito bowls. They’re easier to handle. The prices are very good for the quality and the amount of food that you receive.
I don’t usually review «fast food» joints. But this Chipotle is one of my regular weekly stops and it gets beat up on Unilocal.So I wanted to help it out.

I love this place. It’s fresh. It’s natural. It tastes good. It’s very reasonably priced too. They are really efficient at moving the line along too. The wait might seem long but it never really is.

So I am at the mall and decide they can’t be as bad as my previous visit, and I was right, it was worse. My wife and I split a chicken burrito, and I really didn’t pay attention to the new hire making our burrito (because I was tripping on the other staff who was chastising her for taking so long and not getting the tortilla right in the grill)…anyway as I ate my half of the burrito I had to search for the chicken. I asked my wife about her half and she concurred, there must have been a chicken shortage.
This location has always been one to rush customers and the last 2 times I’ve been, you have to beg to get an adequate portion of protein. This time I neglected to beg.
My bad. Surely this is a reflection of the manager here. Check the Not Recommended reviews, the first one from Nora is accurate.
Go the one across from Fresno state, much better. Forget the Clovis location. Next time ill try the pizza place next door.
