My family have been regulars here since we relocated to the area. My parents are big fans of the lasagna, I love the ravioli & my son loves the kids pepperoni pizza. Dine in or take out, we’ve never been disappointed!

Very good food! Best pizza in LW and the brunch is fantastic as well. Comfortable, laid back atmosphere also!

I go there for the steak stromboli’s, the wedding soup all great ! The stromboli’s are made with sweet peppers and onions and are the best in Charlotte. The prices are responsible and the staff are friendly and attentive and while your in South Carolina fill up with inexpensive gas next door

As a New Yorker, I’m naturally considered a pizza snob down here in The South. But being in The South, I understand«pizza» is just not the same as in NY. However, The pizza here is worse than even something you can get from a chain pizza joint. The other«Italian» dishes don’t fare much better. The only good thing about this place is the price. But you get what you pay for!

Not as clean as I would like. They have a very dirty vent over the drink prep area. The last time I was there they served me burnt food covered in tomato sauce. When I mentioned it the cashier just said sorry and didn’t do anything about it. Very poor service too. It’s too badv to because they do serve done good pizzas and calzones. We avoid the place now because of the cleanliness service and poor quality food.

My wife and kids ate here about a week ago and said it was great so I decided we would have it for a quick dinner on Saturday night. We were in early, around 5. Thes restaurant was not very busy at that time. It seemed to be fairly clean. Service was relatively quick but not at all friendly. We were tended to regularly, drinks were refilled quickly, etc. But it almost seemed like we were a bother to our server — who may have been a manager or owner. Silverware and plates were basically slung onto the table without a word being said. There was one girl behind the counter that also came out and refilled drinks and she was much friendlier. When my sister asked for extra salad dressing it was brought out promptly but again, basically thrown on the table in passing. Not a «Here you go», «Can I get anything else for you». Not a word. As for the food, I found the pizza to be okay but not great. My sister had fettucine alfredo and also said it was good but not great. I spent more time talking about the service than the food because that is what was memorable about my experience — just strange to have been relatively well taken care of but at the same time made to feel so unwelcome. Wierd. I’ll give it a 3 for the food and a 2 for the service — 3 overall. I’ll try it again at some point. Maybe today was an off day. We all have them.

My first time here for Sunday morning brunch and I loved it. It was pretty busy at 10am when we went but we were seated pretty quickly. I ordered two eggs, bacon and french toast and the hubby ordered two eggs, sausage with a Belgian waffle and we both had a side of home fries. Lesson learned… WAY too much food, but it was yummy! I had scrambled eggs and they were light and fluffy and the French Toast was really tasty and two thick slices with my order. It came with a whole pile of bacon and my side order of home fries was pretty good, maybe could have been seasoned a bit more, but a dash of salt and pepper and we were good to go. Hubby had over easy eggs and wasn’t as impressed with his sausage, saying it tasted as though it had been steamed, but maybe a hit on the griddle would have made it better for his preferences. His Belgian waffle was goos, but my guess from my taste would be from a mix, though tasty, nothing to get too excited over. I had to get a take home box for the second slice of toast and most of my home fries. I had bacon left too, but the hubby took care of that for me :-) Our server was good, perhaps not great fretting to bring the ketchup I requested and not quite being on the ball with glass refills. It was busy and wasn’t bad enough to go on about it further, just a note for whomever reads here I would go back for sure and recommend it for others. Reasonably priced between $ 6-$ 9 and lots of options. Go check it out!

Great food, fast service and always clean. I’d highly recommend this place to go eat at. They aren’t that expensive either. If you are craving great food in Lake Wylie then check this place out.

I’ve gotten delivery from this place three times now. Every time the food looked like it was sitting out for several hours. Discolored and crusted over on the top layer. Got the pasta primavera today… the broccoli and cauliflower was overcooked and browning as if very old. NOT impressed at all. They must be packaging food up for deliveries in the morning or the night before. Thats exactly what it looks like. Gross. I expect ALOT more esp at that price. Paid 11 dollars for that pasta… RIP off

Not bad, the pizza we ordered should have cooked longer it was very doughy and chewy

I’ve been here several times. I think that this local place is great… always friendly, great food, the garlic knots at beginning are a nice touch., may not be the greatest italian food of all time but it serves as a great family restaurant and is my family’s go to local italian spot;)

Yum yum yum. Went there tonight for the first time and had a Stromboli. Everything tasted fresh and it wasn’t greasy. Bread cooked perfect and marinara A+++. Server was a little odd bc we asked for more complimentary bread(YUM) and she said ok as long as we still have any left(we came in around 9:15 and they close at 10). Well she was doing her closing duties so I assumed they didn’t have anymore until she came up and asked if we wanted any more bc they were getting ready to throw them out! Lol before that she only took half of our tables drink orders and started to walk away. Um, the others would enjoy a drink too is what I wanted to say. She was nice though and the food was really good with reasonable prices. Will be back!

Just moved to the area and got a coupon for a free Large 1-topping pizza, so I tried it out. I called ahead and picked up my beef pizza, which was good but not great. I will have to give it another try sometime.

Drinks: 2 minutes \ Food: 10 minutes \ Avg. Cost: $ 10.00/person. My wife and I order the Calzones and my mother had the chicken tenders with fries. Meals were hot when served, delicious and received thumbs up all around. Drinks were refilled 3 times. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. Older style interior. Bathroom was clean. Parking is excellent. Minus: Fly and gnat were annoying me, kept landing on the table. Maybe a little pest control, but this can happen in the best of restaurants.

Been here a couple times, not impressed. Food is okay, service is poor. Won’t be back. First time I visited I just got a salad. It was iceberg, cucumbers, mushy tomatoes, and Greek dressing. Dressing wasn’t bad. Salad was only like $ 3.00-not bad, but you get what you pay for. Second time I got the pasta. Our garlic knots came out cold and stale. Pasta sauce was sweet and spicy at the same time. Ehh not something I’d return for. They had the same girl waiting on 4 tables all across the restaurant, our table was in this mix. Only saw our server once to take our order and one more to give us the check. Other servers sat at a table on their phones gossiping and coming around every once in a while to refill drinks or take food to tables. There was one girl in particular who was being awfully loud-just rude to people who are trying to enjoy a meal. Third time we called out for pizza. Got put on hold for 4 minutes, then another person picks up and asks me to hold again, putting the phone down before I could say I was already on hold! 6 minutes into being on hold, I gave up and called back. Got put on hold again! So I hung up and called back a third time, finally got someone who took my order. Their large pizza was small for a large. Maybe 14″ round being generous. Looked like a frozen pizza. Same sweet spicy sauce on top. Won’t order again.

Food was below average, the calzones were pretty much sad… It had a very grainy texture to it. We ordered Basil Alfredo pasta I believe which was again too buttery and grainy. I gave 1 star because of the great service.

This place must do GREATBUSINESS just about any day of the week because from my experience the staff is so overworked they barely have time to focus on their own customers. ========= We ate here(takeout and delivery) a few times when it was just us — no kids. Pizza was pretty good. Can’t say what it’s like now because I haven’t had it in a couple years. We’ve tried, but we have two kids now so there is less eating out and more eating in. Sometimes we combine efforts and go pickup our food while we’re out doing other things, so we have to have menus handy and phone numbers and have a good idea who can serve our needs as a busy family. ========= The main issue — really the only issue — is trying to get some service over the phone. We’ve called for takeout a few times in the last year or so and it’s always the same situation — call, get put on hold, wait … and wait … and then nothing. It’s like they forget you’re there. Recently I called to get a pizza, but first I wanted to see if they’re menu is online — it is, but I couldn’t tell from the menu what size pizzas they have, how big they are or even how much they cost. So I called but I was put on hold right away. I waited, checked my phone, for two minutes and hung up. Called back — put on hold again. Waited, checked the time, two minutes — hung up. Waited a few minutes, but it was a Tuesday night so I thought they can’t be that busy, right? Called a third time, wasn’t put on hold. Me: «Hi I was looking at your menu online but I didn’t see what size pizzas you have?» Her: «Medium, large and extra large.» Her answer is no help because for all I know their large pizza is only 10″! I need actual information. I have four people to feed. Me: «Yeah, I figured that, but what SIZE are they?» She rattles off the size of the medium and the large. Pause. I had to ask about the extra large because that information didn’t seem to be forthcoming. She told me. I thanked her and hung up. I don’t have time for this! It should be much easier to make a selection and order from a pizza place! I looked again online to see if I had missed the information about the pizzas, but it’s not there. ========================== You know who else is doing GREATBUSINESS these days? Fuel Pizza. Because every time I call Lake Wylie and get put on hold and forgotten, I call Fuel. They always answer and I can’t remember if I’ve EVER been put on hold. They have an accurate menu online that I can decipher and they have everything ready in fifteen minutes. And their staff is always very nice and the food is always very good. I can relate to the reviewer who said the staff are too rude to look up from their iPhones to greet you — same thing happened to me the last time I actually went into the place.

I love this place! I wish they had Italian music streaming through, but it was still a very inviting environment. Great prices and heavy pours on the wine! We will be back for sure!

We have eaten here(takeout) on several occasions. The calzones, meatball subs, and plain pepperoni and cheese pizza have always been tasty. The Margherita pizza was just ok – I didn’t particularly care for the basil pesto instead of fresh basil, but all in all not bad. The service, however, is pretty lacking. Last time I went to pick up an order the girl behind the counter barely spoke after she had to put down her iphone to take my payment, and as I left I wished them a good evening and no reply from any of them. The food and prices are great, just be prepared for some rudeness from the staff.
