Specialties
Live shellfish: lobsters, muscles, steamers, clams, and oysters.
Hot lobster rolls, sausage peppers and onions, and hot dogs.
History
Established in 1995.
A man that had no knowledge of lobsters or lobstering purchased this property over the summer of ’95. Through time spent with local fishermen Jack Andrews and his father, Bacci learned how to become a lobsterman and run his establishment efficiently. What was originally called BBG became Lobster Landing in 2001. During this year Bacci and Cathie purchased a hotdog cart and began selling hotdogs. In 2002 they added lobster rolls and sausage peppers and onions to the menu. They definitely didn’t expect that 1 hotdog cart with an umbrella would turn into such a well known and incredible restaurant.

Enea B.
Business Owner
Born and raised in Salice-Terme north western Italy. Bacci moved to the United States in 1971 when he was 29 years old. He purchased his first restaurant in 1983. Nina’s was a small diner in Ritchfield Ct that had a limited menu and was more popular during the evening hours. Bacci sold this establishment in 1987. In 1989 they began to build his new resturant in Southbury Ct. On May 20th 1990 the doors opened to Bacci’s which was a northern Italian resturant. They did not use any types of red sauce in their cooking, no spicey foods, no meatballs, it was «gentle food.» He sold this establishment a few years later when he stumbled upon the property of Lobster Landing.
