so I bought their deal on Groupon. And you can verify me as a Unilocal reviewer by checking my other 100+ reviews in case you’re wondering if I’m being paid or not
FYI they ship via UPS (incase you’re wondering about whether or not your change of address will affect shipment, answer is no, the address you provide will be the one they ship to no questions)
They delivered I was afraid I was going to get a couple of broken bottles of wine, but I didn’t and I’m glad.
when the deal worked out for me it was: $ 6.66 per bottle of wine (that’s including the shipping) because I was offered a $ 10 off groupon deal schweet
only thing is: I’ve never tried any of the wines listed in the sampler so we’ll see how they taste, I’m not a wine person. I prefer liquors and occasionally a fine quality beer.
basically it’s a 3 sweet wines and 3 savory wines sampler, from Italy to South Africa sounds pretty swank right?
In case they do not make it to the house on the 3^rd delivery attempt my suggestion is to address it to someone who is
a) over 21
b) readily available to pick it up from the hub/​ship center before they return it back to Vino Bazaar
c) also their name MUST match their identification it cant be a silly alias haha
I changed my addressee name last minute for UPS in case my dad was too darn busy but it showed up by 3^rd delivery attempt anyways so I lost out on $ 5 BUT that was incase my pop was busy.
it was timely shipped and as soon as you get a shipment confirmation email SAVE it! so you can happily track your indulgent parcel
I’ve added an extra star and a leg up only because the lower star ratings haven’t really described why they only rated 1 star… not enough detail I think people are shady enough to write bad reviews to get free booze

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM especially if you’re looking to buy the Groupon! Vino Bazaar messed up my last Groupon when they did a vodka promotion. Our order was (1) mailed wayyy after the listed ship date, (2) got damaged in transit and sent back to them — not their fault — but they did not replace the product after they said they would and instead offered a refund, and (3) the refund was a huge pain to get back since they originally had fulfilled the order. Look Vino Bazaar up online on Google reviews too… They have lots of negative reviews. Try calling thier phone number… It sounds like you’re calling a personal cell phone and don’t expect them to reply to your voicemail.

The other reviews says it all. I will never use vino bazaar again!

I have had a horrible experience with this company and do NOT recommend you purchase any of the Groupon deals from them. I had a broken bottle in one of my purchases and they did not respond to e-​mails, answer the phone nor was there any interest in providing me with compensation to cover the cost of the broken bottle OR the $ 15 in shipping.

I as well ordered the groupon for the bottles of vodka. They showed up damaged. I tried to call and email several times. Finally, I wrote groupon. At least they responded to me. However, their answer was not a great one. «Unfortunately, the business cannot ship hard liquor through FEDEX anymore, however, they are offering you store credit.» I have a feeling after reading these reviews, I will never receive my replacement bottles or a store credit. How can you even use a store credit if they can’t even get anything shipped to you?
I will not give up on this. I think a call to the BBB is in order. And like someone else said… this does not make Groupon look so good as well.

i’m not giving them a 1, just because i was actually able to have a conversation with someone and got 1 of the boxes i ordered
phone never works. you have to email to get any kind of attention.
i ordered 2 boxes (from Groupon), got a «shipped» email about the first, got it within 3 weeks. then got a «shipment» email about the second… which never came.
they told me i used the groupon wrong and need to contact them about a refund… why send a shipped email???
anyway, at least i got my money back, for 1 of the boxes.
1 star bump for the lemonade vodka, it was yummy :)

As the previous reviewers I wish I could give the company a «negative 5 stars» I was also a victim of their scam. I cannot even give them the benefit of the doubt since it seems everyone had the same experience. I also bought the deal and placed the order immediately. Received an email stating that there was a «partial shipment», when I called to inquire, the man could not even explain why «partial shipment» was stated. I was supposed to receive the order by the 19^th and instead I received the same notice from FEDEX indicating that the shipment was damaged and had to be returned to the sender «per senders instructions». I called them and when I spoke with the same person (it’s the same voice on their answering machine) he told me that they will ship the next day and will receive the shipment by this week. I also told him this was a Christmas present, and he told me than unless I paid the almost $ 50 charge to use a different shipment method, I would not get it on time. He also blamed FEDEX for breaking the bottles (hmmm I can see a couple shipments destroyed by mishandling– but so many???) It seems like this company is a scam and feel sorry for Groupon for having to deal with these type of businesses, it also damage their reputation.
I wonder if anyone had a positive experience.

If I was able to give this company no stars or negative stars I would. Just like Claudia O. I ordered my Groupon and placed my order on December 1^st. I requested tracking information via email and telephone and they never responded. I finally got someone on the phone and they gave me the tracking information. I was expecting my shipment on December 19 when I got a email update from Fedex stating that my package was damaged and they are sending it back, I called Vino Bazaar 4 times and finally got someone on the line, I asked him to send me the package overnight or at least 2 day air. He stated that because I live in California he cant do that because it would cost the company to much money. I was livid because it was going to be a Christmas gift. I called back the next day to get a new tracking number and the number the guy gave me isn’t a valid tracking number. I’ve been calling and emailing them all day and cant get a hold of any one. I feel like I’ve been scammed out of $ 70.00. Don’t do business with this company they will give you the run around and you will not receive your shipment.
12/​28/​2011: I received a email from VinoBazaar this morning and it said that my shipment was damaged and i needed to get my money back from Groupon. This is the worst company ever. I called them and they still didnt answer. This is unacceptable for any company to do!

I have never written a review before but the lack of service was so bad that it made me sign up on Unilocal and write a review.
I bought a Groupon for 6 bottles of Vodka on December 1^st and placed my order with Vino Bazaar immediately. I received an email confirmation that a partial shipment had been sent on December 4^th. I began trying to track down my order so I could figure out when I would receive the entire order. The email login I had set up did not work for a week so I sent emails and called. No one replied to my emails or voicemails. I finally got someone on the phone on December 12^th who told me that my order had been damaged (broken) by FedEx and normally they need to receive the package back from FedEx before sending out a replacement but they were able to confirm the damage so they would be sending out a replacement immediately. I asked to make sure that I receive my package on or before December 21^st as it is a Chrismas gift. He assured me that I would receive it in 5 — 6 days, on December 19^th at the latest. I have not once been able to get them to give me a tracking number so on December 19^th I called again to track down my shipment and sent them another email. No response. Today I finally got someone on the phone who told me that they had no idea where my shipment was, a replacement was never sent, no idea why someone would have told me last week that I could get a replacement when they knew that they couldn’t send one, and that there was no way they could send me a shipment overnight today because FedEx was not taking any more shipments. Really? So I suggested using another shipment method, they can’t do that — no explanation as to why not and even if they could, they are in New Jersey and I am in California so it couldn’t get here before Christmas. Seriously? The rest of the country seems to be managing to send packages out OK.
It has been YEARS since I have come accross such poor customer service. Just absolutely full of excuses and reasons why they can’t deliver rather than trying to make it work. The lack of caring about their customers is pathetic.

After 3 calls and one email to Groupon, I got my money back! I also got the shipping charges credited from Vino Bazaar. Never did get any booze!
