Take out is a staple in my house; Chinese, pizza, sandwiches, etc. The wife and I then to be lazy from time to time. Take out, delivery is very important to us if we want to eat. Chinese is probably are our go to food and Lucky House does a very good job. Now, I am very particular about take out and delivery(TO&D). Temp of food, packaging, delivery time and taste are my core four for TO&D. So far Lucky House is doing a good job. Lucky House is not on GrubHub or Seamless, but they have their own website for ordering food. Very user friendly. Very detail; even tabs for the free stuff: like sodas, soup, etc. Lucky House is an Americanize Chinese TO&D restaurant. I found the food to be very tasty for this type of food. Across the board it was not salty or high on MSG. Flavors certainly where a balance of spices, meats, ingredients and sauces. Had pork fried rice. Hot, fluffy and tasty. It looked more like Spanish rice since it was yellow and had peas. We are in a Latin area so I can see why. Bottom line, rice was very good with right amount of fried rice ingredients. Dumplings could have been commercial brand and not home made, but they where properly steam. Wish they had hot oil, but package mustard was OK. Decent dumpling as an app. Entrees; pork with string beans, sauce on side; and pork in szechuan sauce. Both dishes very good. Tasty and a plethora of pork. Lucky House was not stingy with ingredients. Where Lucky House hits a home run is packaging. They use high quality round plastic containers. Rice in a separate container from main dish. No soak rice here. Overall, Lucky House does a good job with hot food, packaging and flavors. I thought the food was very tasty for this style of Chinese Food. It was not over salty and the sauces did not over powered the ingredients. While we did pick up and«no delivery»; I was very happy with communication with the restaurant. They had a question and I was called. Issued solved. Look forward to enjoying future orders…
