History

Established in 1938.

The history of our practice is rooted with Dr. Joseph E. Fitzgerald. Dr. Fitzgerald first opened his practice in Cleveland in 1938. In 1947 he moved his practice to Parma on Ridge Road near Snow Road where it remained for 55 years. Dr. Dowd joined the practice in 1977 and Dr. Zanoudakis joined the practice in 1986 when Dr Fitzgerald retired. In 1991 Dr. Dowd and Dr. Zanoudakis began to see patients in North Royalton as well, at the practice of Dr. Daniel G. Hummel, which they later acquired when Dr. Hummel retired. In October 2002 both locations were moved to a new state-of-the-art facility at 7448 Ridge Road, just south of Pleasant Valley Road. Dr. Hornik joined the practice in 2006.
