I’ve walked in and out of this place half a dozen times over the last five years. Usually, it’s filled with the most gaudy, ugly-​ass furniture you can imagine… but occasionally there are deals. I was looking for a small dining table and chairs and I found a really nice dark oak polished wood table with comfortable chairs for $ 250 out the door. They didn’t tell me until after they ran my card that I would be assembling the furniture myself AND you have to go pick it up from the warehouse on E. 28th on certain days. I’m a bit of an expert furniture builder based solely on the sheer number of things I’ve put together and this stuff seems pretty high quality. It took quite a few hours to assemble everything, but at least I know the idiot who put it together did a decent job.
I don’t know how I feel about this place. I got a great table at a damn good price. But something about this organization seems… weird.
