We stopped here for a late lunch on our way home from Unicoi State Park. Great, friendly service and home town atmosphere. We noticed several locals dining here as well. Everyone in our family had a burger and milk shake, except my husband, who is a sucker for fresh squeezed lemonade. The milkshakes were thick and delicious. Hamburger patties were hand pressed fresh ground beef, and had that crispy crust that is so difficult to achieve, and oh so tasty! Lemonade was tart and sweet. We will definitely be back here on our next trip through Cleveland! Prices are also very reasonable.

They have some of the best food around. I love their sweet potato fries and all their burgers!

Probably the best burgers in the area. The food is always fresh and the staff is very friendly. The 50’s theme adds to the fun and although I don’t usually drink soda, the fountain Cokes,(including Cherry and Vanilla Coke with free refills), is a real treat. Although this is mostly a lunch spot, they do have a weekly special on Thursday and Friday evenings that is not on the regular menu. The price is very reasonable. It’s hard to drive past this place without wanting to stop in!

Came here after visiting cabbage patch Babyland. It was packed when we arrived and had to wait for a clean table. They seem understaffed but still very friendly. I had the shrimp po boy which was alright. My daughter and husband had the burgers and they were tasty. Notate why the chili fries are so pricey but other than that reasonable priced. It was a fun place to grab a lunch.

This little café is one of my favorite lunch destinations in the area. The food is always great, as is the service. The café itself is delightfully quaint and gives you the feel of times gone by. If you like a lighter fare, the salads are fresh and tasty. You can also top them w/tuna salad, chicken salad, potato salad or egg salad or any combination of any two or three. The burgers are yum and have some great combinations of toppings. The fries are the best, but the ice they serve with your drinks is simply awesome!

Love everything about this place… the way things should be. Simple, friendly and good. Small town America at its best.

Great food and service. One of our favorite places for Saturday lunch. Burgers are great, sweet potatoe fries are hot, patty melt is good. About 12 tables plus stools at the soda bar.

A truly great spot on the square in downtown Cleveland. It’s an old timey soda fountain kind of ambience with great service. The burgers are inventively topped and great tasting. Add great onion rings and a shake and I was in my happy place.

A total throwback to the Soda Fountains or yesteryear. Today this place was packed and I’m willing to bet that’s the case most everyday. A very friendly staff serving quality food. If you’re hungry consider the Cowboy Burger, homemade BBQ sauce, bacon, cheese and a tasty patty… if you’re still hungry(don’t judge) follow that with a Georgia Burger — peaches, vidallia onions, bourbon glaze draped over a fresh beef patty. Try the Sweet Potato fries with the marshmallow cinnamon dipping sauce. Have your Prozac prescription filled while you fill your belly, it doesn’t get much better.

I love this place! By far my favorite place to go for lunch. It’s clean, the service is awesome and so is the food. The gift shop has some cool things in it and it is nice to browse. I highly recommend eating here. Best place in Cleveland.

Simplified Charm. Looking for a good burger? This is the place. Like a real pharmacy café in the 50’s. Except they have fabulous things like the Georgia Burger, which has Grilled Peaches on it. That is my husbands favorite. I like keeping it simple with a cheeseburger or slaw dog. It’s almost like homemade. A must stop lunch spot on the way to the mountains.

Awesome food. The hamburgers were amazing, done perfectly with the little crust on the outside. The onion rings were the best I’ve had and the hotdog that my daughter had was great. Oh and lastly the chocolate shake was perfectly crafted.

The family and I always make a point to come here whenever we vacation in Helen, GA. Our favorites are the Georgia peach burger, and The cowboy burger. I switched it up a bit last visit & got the BLT. It was wonderful. The shakes are the best we’ve ever had & the service is always friendly. Can’t get enough of this place!

I got the patty melt with Swiss and a chocolate shake. This place is the bomb! The flavors, meat, milk, etc is all so real. Nothing at this place is mass produced other than maybe the condiments. It is also cheap, cheap, cheap. I would suggest this place every single time if you are passing through. My co-worker got the double and she thought it was outstanding. If you are craving a burger, don’t go to a chain, go here!

What a great place! I got the million dollar burger special with bacon, brie and raspberry jam. It was delicious! Then to top it off I got the malt and I kid you not, it was the best malt I have had in over 20 years! Great atmosphere, great food, and at a great price. 5 stars!

After spending a week in a tent at DeSoto Falls campground, we were ready for a little civilization while we went on an ice and laundry run. We’re so glad we found this little gem! Their burgers were spot-on: juicy, but with just a hint of crispy edge. Lots of inventive toppings, like the Million Dollar Burger with bacon, brie and raspberry preserves. Yum! Save room for dessert, btw. We had chocolate malts with extra malt. Perfect!

And we’re back again for a malt and another burger. Burger of the Day was featuring brie, bacon, and raspberry preserves. WOW. Great job, guys. Very original. Plus it was time to get a malt. Chocolate. Yep. What else, right? This is how ya do it.

Best meal I had in Cleveland, great server too. My cheeseburger was juicy and seasoned right. My salad was crisp. The shake was mediocre. But the meal was just filling enough to head to the Raven Cliffs for a hike. Be warned, they close early on Saturday and they’re not opened on Sunday. But I will definitely return!
