Allen Lock & Key Service

Old school locksmith and that is a real compliment! He can make keys and handle locks on homes of all ages. I have been recommending him for years without a negative word. First rate.

I called Allen Lock & Key Service to come out and change all the locks on our new house. I called him on a Friday morning and stated that he could not get out there that day, which was fine. So, we scheduled him to come on Saturday at noon.
On Saturday, I waited for him and it got to be about 12:20 when he finally called and said that he was running late. He said he would get to my house by 1:00. Since he was already 20 minutes late, I asked him to please guarantee that he would get to my house by 1:00 or I will find someone else. He said find someone else, and hung up on me. Here is the exact exchange:
Me: «Can you guarantee 1:00, or do I need to find someone else?»
Him: «Find someone else»

So, if you value your time and want to be treated with respect, I would not suggest using Allen Lock & Key Service.
