Description

Specialties

KE Documentary is a photography and videography company, that specializes in Birth Photography, Birth Videography, A Day in the Life sessions, Business branding through photography and videography. Also two of my passion sessions are: A Day in the Life sessions for terminal ill families and birth photography for birth moms.

History

Established in 2014.

I started birth photography August of 2014 and have been shooting births since then. Shortly after this I also started shooting Day In The Life session that lasted 12 hours in homes with families from the moment they woke up until they went to bed. I love documenting the everyday emotions, relationships and developmental changes a family can grow through and taking photos that will one day remind them of life at this time and bring generations together with stories. The Forever stories started this past year in 2015 and are for two of the thing closest to my heart. Those with a terminal illness that want to give something to their families and birth mom photograph.

Meet the Business Owner

Kourtnie S.

Business Owner

In 2013 my husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Our son was 9 months old at the time and I was faced with the fears that our young son might not ever know his dad. Thankfully Cody was able to go through a few hard months of chemo and was given the great new that they saw no more. Currently we are going through the 5 years of checkups required before he is deemed 100% cancer free. During that time, I watched the man I love go through chemo and yet still fight to be apart of our family as much as he could. I watched him play with our son and live in the moment, despite the internal battle he was fighting daily. Our little boy was his whole world, but Axle would never really know, had chemo not worked. Our son would only have had his birth photos and a collection of cell phone pictures I took during his first year, along with a few cell phone videos. From this trying time in our life, I turned to a new way of photographing and filming. To remember the everyday moments.
