Americas Best Value Inn & Suites

Horrible service crappy rooms overcharged and tried to charged more then agreed cost online
Ended up staying at «lamplighter inn» with lake access for way cheaper and 100x better rooms!!!

This place is what it is advertised as: A budget motel. It’s not fancy, but the beds were comfortable, the view was great, (it overlooks the lake), and our room was clean. The manager staff that live on site were nice and friendly. The one thing that bugged me, was how loud it was when people in adjoining rooms took showers. The sound was extremely loud! The breakfast is skimpy as well, so be prepared for that. They provide a small coffee maker, a small fridge and microwave, so that’s nice. We just checked out today after a two day stay.

My room was clean. Staff was pleasant. Could have been more for breakfast, but it worked.

Warning to all dog owners who stay here: there is a very aggressive pit bull who lives next door to the hotel. I was informed by a man who lives nearby that this dog actually killed a small dog not too long ago. I had no clue and as I walked my little dog past this yard, the pit bull came halfway out from underneath the fence, almost escaping. I feel that it would have attacked my dog, and perhaps me, if it had gotten all the way out. I was extremely frightened. Checked out that same morning. They should tell guests about this dog when checking in, but I’m sure they don’t because they need the money. Absolutely horrifying!
To top it off, this place is just plain gross. Stains all over carpet and on bed sheets. I was afraid to touch anything.
