Specialties
A friendly place with an upscale pub atmosphere. Great food, great drinks, and great people. Not a sports bar, but a great place to watch your favorite teams!
History
Established in 1996.
Formerly Cueney’s, a smoke filled classic corner bar, second home to attorneys and judges alike. Known for great trial, court conversation, tamales and chili. Adjacent to the Clayton Barber Shop (now located across the street).
Purchased in June of 1995, remodeled and re-opened in January of 1996 as John P. Field’s. Changed ownership in 2001.
January, 2009 bought back by the original owner John Harris and his partnership group of Jim Campbell (former Stl. Blue standout) and Mike Rayner (local entrapaneur).
Once known for it’s friendly atmosphere, attention to detail and better than ordinary food, the new ownership group along with an incredible staff of restaurant professionals, has brought that reputation back and then some. and, NO MORE SMOKE.
