It really doesn’t get more peaceful than this place. Though a highly popular spot for families with pets, students who like to study around greenery and lovers tangled up on a soft blanket, it still manages to seem untarnished. On weekends there’s tons of foot traffic here, mostly from people grabbing drinks and goodies from Kaldi’s, directly across the street. But there are further reaches of the 1.5 acre park, where you can easily get some R & R behind a tree and no one will ever find you. The park is actually on the grounds of Concordia Seminary and I always thought it was part of the Seminary, but apparently the City of Clayton has leased the park from Concordia since 1972.
