I have been going to Allison for years and never once have been disappointed. She has taken my hair from being broken and damaged to amazing!!! Plus she has an extraordinary personality and I always get an all around great experience!!!

Today was my first time working with Allison Hunter and I don’t want to exaggerate, but my life has been changed. and for the better! She did an amazing cut I love, and when she was styling my hair, she walked me through step by step of her process so I could replicate it at home.
I can’t say enough good things about her! I will definitely be going to her from here on out. She has a wonderful personality and she’s a master of her craft.

Allison is fantastic to work with and always does a great job cutting my hair. I’ve been going to her for a regular mens haircut for several years. She always works with me to get me in for a cut and is really fun, humorous, and interesting to talk to during your visit. I highly recommend her if you need a great haircut. If you have a shred of love for the locks of hair on your head, then you will visit Allison in loft 21 for all of your hair needs. The products she uses are top notch (and she’s not pushy to sell product to you). I’ve been going to Allison for a couple years and my hair is the healthiest, best looking hair I’ve ever had in my life. She’s truly a magician, goddess, higher hair deity, whatever nomenclature you prefer. No bones about it– she’s amazing. Don’t even get me started on the blowouts… WOW. People literally complement me weekly on how beautiful my natural ombré is only for their jaws to hit the floor when I tell them I haven’t had virgin hair since high school. Do yourself, and your hair, a favor and pay a visit to Allison. You won’t regret it.

To keep it short and simple, Allison is a great hairstylist. She does such a great job of helping me keep the right hairstyle for my hair type and keeping it real if I have an idea that just wont work with my hair type/​growth ETC. She may specialize in women’s hair, but she does a damn good job at a quality mens cut.

No, seriously. I came to her with a problem, she fixed it. In a pinch, I settled for another stylist — again, she fixed it. I won’t go anywhere else as long as I am in the area. She does color correction, extensions, full color, highlights, amazing cuts, styling, up-dos…you name it, and she can do it. I keep recommending her because she is truly talented with a pair of shears and color.
The cool thing about Allison is that she will do exactly what you ask, but she will give you options if you’re not quite sure what you want. She isn’t a stylist that does what she wants to do (regardless of what the customer asks for). She does exactly what you tell her, and then blows your hair out so well that you feel like a model for three days afterwards.
Some of the things Allison has done for me include: color correction, lightening, toning, full color, highlights, ombré, full cut, adding bangs, feathering, blending, thinning, waxing. This is with both short hair (close to ears) to shoulder-​length. My hair texture is very thick with waves in the back but straight in the front.
I keep sending referrals her way, but it’s because after about 15 bad stylists, when you find a good one, you want to tell the world. Now please, go book your appointment… I have no doubt you will love your hair.

Going to a new stylist is a huge gamble, but in my case, it was no bigger a gamble then seeing my regular girl. I’m so glad I took the risk, because Allison is phenomenal. The cut and color were on point with both what I wanted and what I didn’t necessarily know I needed for my kind of hair. I actually enjoy doing my hair now and like the result I see.

Simply put, a visit to Allison Hunter will improve more than just your hair.
Yes, she is irrefutably gifted with color/​cut/​style technique, but she is also hilarious, polite, easy to talk to, and realistic while still being adventurous. You leave her chair feeling ready to embrace your inner badass.
I don’t believe anyone else in a 100-​mile radius could have given me this crazy, beautiful blonde mohawk, and made it practical for everyday wear. That’s the real magic. It doesn’t feel high-​maintenance or costumey. It feels like me, but the Deluxe Version.
So, she’s a hair wizard, and every time I look at my awesome head, I know I can trust her with my awesomeness. 10 out of 10, will book again.
