James Corlew Chevrolet Cadillac

I have bought several vehicles, both new and used, and each experience has varied dramatically. Of each of these occasions, Corlew has been above and beyond the best. I worked with Shannon and James to trade in two vehicles and to find the perfect Silverado to take home. Right from the get go I felt relaxed and at ease and that continues throughout the entire process. I got what I felt was a fair deal for my trade-​ins and I couldn’t be happier about the truck I left with. They both did a great job working with me and I’ll be recommending them (and James Corlew) to people in the future looking to purchase a new car or truck.
For the finance piece, I have nothing but good things to share as well. I was locked in for a good rate that I was happy about, and Jay went above and beyond to get me an even better one. I can’t say enough about how that made me feel as a customer. This place is top notch, especially for a military town. I don’t give out 5 stars easily, hell I rarely am impressed enough with a place to spend the time to write a review. James Corlew is the best place in Clarksville for a new pair of wheels. Unless you’re not buying a Chevy, then you’re judgment is suspect anyway ;)

NitroFill on my tires went smooth enough, but had to order parts for the recall on my vehicle for the 3^rd time. I have been trying to get the recall settled since about April but either the parts do not come in, employees forget to order them or they do come in, do not tell me and then use them for another vehicle.

Best car buying experience. No haggling required… I told my salesman, Jarren Miller, what I wanted to pay… that’s what I paid. No shady dealings. I would highly recommend the dealership and my salesman. Very pleased.

I dread coming here and it’s because every time I HAVE to, for a recall, etc., the service is awful and the cost for «repairs» is ridiculous! First time they wanted to charge me $ 500 to fix a problem when it turns out all it needed was a $ 5 fuse. Seems like when a woman goes there alone they think they can get over!

Peter Flournoy did an awesome job. When it was taking to long checking on the used car I asked about new cars on rebate. He was very helpful and friendly. He tried his best to get the payment amount that I wanted and offered helpful tips. :) thanks for the excellent service again. If you need help with a car purchase, go see Peter!

Great customer service from sales to service! I recently purchased a used car and it runs great! Kevin Burgess was very helpful in helping me select the right car for me! Thank you again to all the help and service I have received in the past and I will be seeing you for all my future services.

Service is always friendly and efficient, however my main concern couldn’t be satisfied. Knowledge on particular types of Chevy MyLink infotainment radios doesn’t seem to be shared (or maybe just not known) prior to vehicle purchase. Even asking for a fully loaded car will be a luck of the draw with whatever infotainment system comes in the car, lacking features, apps, and such. And it seems the radio can NEVER be swapped out as a corrective option. That made my visit a huge disappointment because it ultimately means that I actually did not get what I asked for, and now it’s too late.

SLOOOOOOOW service. People arent very friendly and they try to nickel and dime you for everything. It is nice having a Chevy dealership in Clarksville though.

New to town & had to find a place to get my car serviced. So glad I found these guys. Super friendly, helpful, & they even served fresh donuts & coffee.

Great service department and the new car sales manager Ron York is amazing and kind and is always available to help people out. If you ever have any issues or need someone who will steer you in the right direction ask for Ron York and he will get you taken care of.

They just finished the renovation and the new store is SO pretty! I think you could get lost in there. Very good selection of cars. Finance is fast and friendly. Service is great as well. Cant go wrong here. My favorite 2 people here are Denise and Elvin. Tell em I sent you!!!

Takes way too long for service to complete. Waited over an hour for a simple oil change. I think my vehicle got lost back there. And this was early in the morning when the business first opened.
I take my vehicle in for a simple oil change, yet they find a million other reasons wrong with my vehicle. They want to put new windshield wipers on… oooh I found 2 chips on your windshield, do you have full coverage with your insurance, we could take care of that for you… Oh and by the way, its time for this and time for that on your vehicle… It only cost $ 786. Would you like us to take care of that for you? I mean Really??? Give me a break here.

Service Department Review: Their customer service is a 5plus, for sure, in that they communicate with you very well, they keep you up-​to-​date on the status of your repairs, etc. They’ve been remodeling their showroom and service area for quite a while, and sometimes, it’s almost impossible to get through via phone or get into the service area, but it’s getting better, and I’m sure it’ll be wonderful once all the renovation is done. My only complaint is that when taking your car in for specific repairs, like having a non-​operating power window repaired, they always seem to find other things that need «fixing,» such as wiper blades, batteries, etc. Corlew isn’t the only dealership guilty of this, but they seem to be the worst in Clarksville for doing so … otherwise, nice place, nice people, good work.

I see many cars around town with James Corlew tags and this dealership came highly recommended to me so I went. The lady that I ended up dealing with was so abrasive I couldn’t even talk to her anymore. I’ve never seen rude used as a sales tactic before. They tried to sell me a used 2009 Chevrolet, without certifying it, for about three grand over Kelly Blue Book and for what I could get a 2011 for «because the previous owner was James Corlew’s personal secretary. «I doubt it… unless the previous owner was Chuck Norris and he autographed the car that has nothing to do with the value and doesn’t explain why they can’t certify it. The fact they can’t certify it means it’s more likely that the secretary of Enron was one of A FEW previous owners.
They told us they could come down on the price for sure and wanted our business, we just needed to come back in. It was only AFTER we came back in that they came down maybe five hundred dollars and still wouldn’t certify the car. If you can’t work something out, fair enough but don’t waste my time and have me come in to the business, in person. If you enjoy dealing with rude people that want to put you into cars you don’t want and you have plenty of time to waste, James Corlew is the place for you!
