Wheeler Steffen Property Management

This is the worst service I ever have in my life. I strongly «NOT RECOMMEND» this company to any one.
Story:
We figure out our front gate cannot be close after they fixed the balcony (also, they took water from our out door faucet for the painting job for the entire complex without asking and we have to pay $ 50 for that), so my wife call the Wheeler Steffen Property Management. However, no one pick up the phone. So my wife left a message and a lady who’s name Hilda, return the call couple hours later. and she keep saying that it is not her business and being very mean to my wife and not willing to fix any problem.
I have no idea why I have to pay for the HOA fee and let the company to hire this kind of person.
JUST STEP AWAY FROM THIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY, AND YOU WILL BE FINE.

This Company is by far the worst in getting things done. Our Complex that they manage has the worst termite infestation and it’s been this way for yearsssss. You’d think by now they’d at least hire an exterminator to spray the outside… it’s gotten so bad termites are being found on my window sills, furniture even my box spring… yes my box Spring. There’s brown powder (dust) all over the edges of the walls and our windows. Our garage doors are rotting away and although they change them out the wood Posts and stuff it only happens again because they don’t deal with the issue. So over it! Been here 20 years and it’s never been this bad… so disappointed!

This is a very unreasonable HOA. I was charged with something that I didn’t even get the warning letter for. The lady named Sandi was very rude on the phone. Why should I pay for a service that doesn’t even know customer service?

i can assure you, that the negative reviews this company has received are relatively minor compared to what they have done to me. you can believe this, we have trial this january 2015. wheeler steffen (w/​s) is as bad and in fact worse then you can imagine. they recorded two phony liens against my property, one for $ 16,173.and another for $ 16,243. some years ago they recorded a lien for $ 25,285. this is in the county recorders office or any title company preliminary title report… i sued them the first time and naturally won. how could they prove i owed them $ 25,285. concerning the current law suit, w/​s literally placed the same lien on my property that they did in the first suit! as the result of that suit, they took it off the books, off my ledger and off the county recorder’s record per their attorneys letter to me and i verified it. believe it when i say that in 2010 they resurrected this phony debt from the first suit, and put the same amount against my property! then w/​s sold it at auction to a real estate broker for $ 7,248.19!
any party that dares write a positive review of wheeler steffen property management is doing a disservice to your fellow citizen… in all sincerity, you will be ashamed of yourself when you learn the facts… provided you have a conscience!
why would any sensible person take a chance and retain these people… bad, bad news is what they are. i’m looking into filing criminal charges… they robed me of the simple roof over my and my two small dogs heads. they were more than willing to throw us in the street as the result of the sale to the real estate broker which resulted in the sheriff posting the 5 day notice to get out! all is well documented in county recorder office, and w/​s own records… all phony. i was current in my hoa dues when they started this crap and i am confident that i’m not the only one this has happened to!
