History

Established in 2009.

At Claremont Smile Design, we are proud of the fact that we are the first California Certified Eco-​Friendly Dental Office. We believe in providing the best, most comprehensive array of dental services while keeping our commitment to green standards, and a better environment for today — and for future generations.

As an example of our commitment, during the construction process of our new office, all debris was diverted to a recycling center and we used building materials such as ceiling tiles and cabinet material with recycled content. The eco approach extends to the rest of the office. We used rapidly renewable resources where ever possible, such as bamboo flooring. And for the interior environment, we used low emitting adhesives and ultra low VOC paints on the walls. as well as any composite wood products, such as the melamine used for the custom cabinetry, that contained not added urea-​formaldehyde. This sustainable, efficient approach extends to every aspect of our business.

Meet the Business Owner

Dr. German Jaquez J.

Business Owner

After Dr. Jaquez completed his Doctorate in Dentistry in 1985 at the University of Madre Y Maestra, he attended UCLA for his California certification training. Over the last 15 years, he has traveled throughout the world exploring and expanding his professional knowledge and experience. In addition, Dr. Jaquez received additional training and certifications in aesthetic integral dentistry, implants, and prosthesis over implants. He completed a TP International Orthodontic Program in Florida from 1999 – 2002, and received a GP Invisalign Certification from the New York University, College of Dentistry in 2003, afterwards receiving Cerec Advance Certification from Scottsdale University, Arizona.

Dr. Jaquez has participated in numerous newspaper and magazine articles regarding patient education. Dr. Jaquez continues to stay abreast in the latest developments in dentistry by attending 200 to 500 hours of post graduate workshops/​seminars annually to keep up with the rapid industry changes.
