Horrible horrible horrible customer service!
From the front desk, and the owner!
I purchased a deal off groupon from this salon ONLY because it said same day appt accepted.
I called this morning to schedule it (bought it last night) and the front desk said no sorry nothing available. I explained to her that I needed an apt today or tomorrow because I’m moving out of state on Sunday. She rudely replied, «we’ll we don’t have anything until next week»
I was so pissed at her tone I just hung up the phone.
I checked my groupon to cancel, but because my voucher was opened, I could no longer cancel.
I called back to speak with the owner.
She sounded like she was high. or maybe just ditsy. but every other word was «uhh» or «umm».
“Uhhhhhmmm well can’t you just find someone to buy it from you?
«Ohhhh well Uhhh can you call groupon?»
Did you not hear what I said??? Of course I tried calling them. And why would I want to sell my groupon and subject anyone I know to your sh**y customer service!
Her reply was «well yeah cause we only use groupon to try and get new customers»
Hahah clearly you’re doing a great job.
Maybe you need to go back to school and learn how to manage a business in a professional manner.
Worst part is, they WOULDNT even apologize. Their mood the whole time was like they didn’t even care.
I hate bad customer service.

Very disappointing! Too expensive for the time dedicated to wash and style my hair! My hair was washed and conditioned in literally 5 min. The shampoo was not even worked onto my scalp, let alone a good scrubbing. Massage. Then the gal at the register? Can you say ZERO personality!!! NO desire to ever return. Very very rude! Being new to the area and with all the salons in Claremont, need I say… I’ll pass, and so should you!!!

I have gone to this salon for a few years now and love my stylist Brittany. I get cut and color and it’s always awesome. The staff are really friendly and helpful and all the stylist seem to be happy-​positive atmosphere!
I also had my hair and makeup done for my wedding, same for my Maid of honor. They were on time with everything. Had a whole team there very early in the morning to get us done in time. They were great at keeping me calm because I was happy but nervous.
Lastly, my daughter tried to get a friend to color her hair and it was horrible. I told her to go to my salon and they fixed her botched hair and she was so happy and loved her stylist. I wish I could remember her name!

I tried to visit this salon at 3pm on a Saturday… shuttered up tight. but the hours say open until 5pm. don’t believe it.

I found this salon through Instagram. So I took I risk and tried this place out. I am so happy with everything !! From the moment I walked in till the moment I left the door. She greeted me and offered me something to drink! She understood what I wanted and didn’t rush the client consultation. I went in for root retouch and highlight retouch
Super friendly and I highly recommend her…

I was a previous customer at their other location as well. I would give the old and new location the same review. I really love the décor and the coziness of the new location better than the other one.
We were seen at our scheduled time and were offered drinks while we waited. That was nice. Kayla did a great job on my daughter’s hair and make-​up for prom. No regrets.

After getting an awful trim at supercuts, I called audacious hoping they would have an opening for a walk in. They did, and I was seated immediately. Beer, wine, coffee, and soda are included! Brianna Betancourt did a dry cut (my request) flat ironed it, and perfected the ends to make it more even. She and all the staff were so professional. I love this salon; they sold me on the first visit.

I have been a client at Audacious Salon since they first opened several years ago. Brittany Farnes is my star stylist whom I highly recommend! I go in every 3 weeks to have my color maintained and always leave looking and feeling fabulous! Her cutting and styling techniques are exceptional! Brittany is friendly, professional, and very talented. If you do the math, that’s a lot of appointments, and I have NEVER been disappointed!

I been a customer since 2008. I been going to Brittany Farnes the entire time. Every time I tried someone new (outside Audacious), I would regret it! Brittany is so helpful and creative. Other hair stylists that I had would keep me waiting. But not Brittany, she ll talk to you and keep a timer handy. She’s very prompt. There hasn’t been a service with Brittany that I didn’t like! I love her and I never want to cheat on her again ;)
I love that staff. They are very friendly and sweet. I recommend this salon and their professionalism!

I’ve been seeing Brittany for years and she always does a great job. I have naturally curly hair, which is not the easiest to find a good stylist for, but I’ve always been happy. The people here are friendly, trendy, and constantly taking classes to stay on top of new products and styles.

I’ve been looking for a new salon since my salon closed. I got my eyebrows waxed here by Marlene and she was wonderful. She made sure to get my opinion and what I wanted. The staff is so friendly! I recommend this salon to anyone!

I can’t even believe I saw a negative review of this Salon. Those people must be out of their minds. I’ve had nothing but great experiences here and the staff are very nice and talented too! I highly recommend this salon!

Megan is my top pick! Megan is very detail oriented and wants to give you her very best — I love that! She truely cares about you and what is best for your hair.
The salon is gorgeous, my favorite part is the «color bar», you can watch your stylist mix your color right in front of you.- kudos to the owner, she has great taste! Marta at the front desk is very friendly and gives great hospitality. I just started going to this salon and I have loved my experiences each time.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I came to this salon for the first time in November and Maddy did my hair. i had dark brown hair and wanted light brown hair. i knew it would be a process. after she was done with my hair it did get lighter. and i was excited for the next month, however i was informed that she was no longer there and another stylist would be doing my hair. the next 2 months were the worst ever. i kept leaving the salon with orange hair and not just one shade of orange but like 4 shades of them! and all they kept telling me was oh its a process. i decided to go to another salon in claremont and not only did they fix what this salon did but got me towards the color ive been wanting since november. i wouldnt even recomend this place to someone i hated.

I’ve come here a couple times now and I love the way my hair comes out EVERY time. I’m super picky but Kayla does a great job. I totally recommend her if you need a hair stylist. Everyone I send loves her too.

Audacious salon is amazing! The employees are friendly and they do their job well. Kayla is my hairstylist and she is the only one that can cut my hair exactly how I want. She is AMAZING and to top it off, she is really sweet. The salon is very nice and they even offer you a beer, which I like. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is amazing. I love this place!

I should have been more skeptical when I called to schedule an appointment and they were seemingly wide open. I’m sure you could get a hair cut you like here– if you want a sort of out of the box cut. If you want something more sophisticated, you might want to keep looking.
The place was empty when I came in for my appointment, I was greeted right away, and the stylist, who shall remain nameless, was friendly.
She really didn’t do much asking what I wanted. I said one word, and she replied, «oh my god, I know exactly what you want.» The problem is– she didn’t, she happily snipped along not stopping for my opinion. When she was finished, she just gave me a mirror and said, «see your cut» — not exactly an invitation to ask for something new. I’m sure I could have been more forceful, but after she couldn’t get what I asked for the first time I was a little afraid to ask her to keep snipping away. It’s probably not a subjectively horrible haircut, but I didn’t get what I asked for. I felt like the stylist had five haircuts she knew how to do and just gave me one she thought was close.
I had to make an appointment with a different salon, so I could clean up the hot pseudo-70’s mess I got here.

The skinny: gorgeous and friendly stylists, beautiful salon, utmost professionalism, extensive product line, reasonable prices.
I had a haircut and keratin treatment, serviced by Brittany. She is really nice, with an entertaining sense of humor, lengthy professional experience, and takes the time to describe what she’ll be doing each step of the way. I took off about 10 inches of my hair to donate to Locks of Love (and Audacious is a LOL designated salon), and I really like the bob I ended up with. For the first time in my life, my expectations met reality when it came to my hair.
There is a dedicated section of the salon for coloring which is called the «color bar.» I thought that was neat.
I don’t know why there aren’t more reviews for Audacious Salon. Love yourself by giving this place a try =)

I was very happy with this salon. My cousin and I were able to get in the same day within a few hours. We both had appointments with Tracey who did a great job of working on both of us simultaneously. We were both done within a few hours and are thrilled with the results.
My cousin got full highlights and a cut and I got full color and a cut. I’m trying to grow my A-​Line cut out and just needed some shape added to my hair while it grows out. Tracey was able to give my hair some style during this in-​between phase that I’m in.
The salon is very clean and cute inside. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They even gave us a snack to hold us over until dinner.
We will definietly be going back.

After having to break up with my aesthetician after 6 long years I went searching for a new professional to listen to my problems and wax my eyebrows to perfection. After a recommendation I found Au-​da-​cious Salon in Claremont.
The salon is easy to find, new, clean and trendy on the inside. I was greeted and promptly given a tour of the facility by the receptionist. After I briefly waited I was taken to the waxing room. Jacqueline was my waxer. She was courteous, professional, friendly and she did a pretty good job too. I have sensitive skin and I didn’t break out after her treatment. I can totally see a myself feeling comfortable enough to complain to her about my dating woes on future visits. I hope this isn’t a rebound relationship, but regardless I was a happy customer.
The icing on the cake was the thank you note I received about a week later. Au-​da-​cious salon has definitely earned my business.
