Love this place! Watching how they mix froyo with other ingredient is a feast for eye. Long line so kinda need to wait a bit. Wanna try every single choices they have. I ordered strawberry sunrise(No. 14) and it tastes pretty refreshing after a rich meal.

A group of friends and I went in 15 mins before closing and asked them to make sure they were still open, because we saw that they weren’t happy to see us walk through the door. A taller one of the female employees literally starred all of us down and gave us dirty looks. Every time another customer walked through the door they gave one another looks of disapproval. The froyo was yummy but TERRIBLE customer service.

This is probably the most popular fro-yo spot in Claremont. The location is right in downtown. It’s not self serve. The ice cream artists will make them for you on a frozen slab counter. There are many different signature creations located on the boards. My favorite is strawberry French toast. If you want a small, make sure you clarify what type. There is a small and a tres small which is the smallest. What made the experience so bad is the amount of employees working and the time it took. Only three were working and the line wrapped around the counter through the door. It didn’t seem like they cared either. On a peak day, they should’ve had at least one more employee working.

Gone here before and the frozen yogurt was alright but the customer service just awful. We came inside the first time and were ignored for a good 20 minutes before someone asked if we were«gonna order something». Then the most recent time we came, there was no, «hello» or «welcome!», NOTHING. Just a «the line starts back over there» and was directed to a line with only 2 people as if they were really busy. I refuse to come back to this location because of the service, it’s just terrible, the food is not worth the bad attitude.

I don’t know… I guess I just don’t see the appeal of paying 6 bucks for yogurt soup with chunks of stuff in it. Their small is actually a medium. I wanted the smallest size but I guess I needed to look at their sizing to know that was a «tres small». My mistake I suppose, but the sizing and pricing is still kinda dumb in my opinion. As for my yogurt soup reference, it was literally already melted and dripping all over my hands by the time I walked out. The server made no attempt to wipe it off even though she almost missed the cup when putting the yogurt into it. Next time I will just go to Coldstone… I will pay about the same but it will still be solid for more than 5 seconds. I put the half I didn’t eat in the freezer so maybe it will taste better/more solid tomorrow. I honestly don’t understand how there aren’t more people on here talking about how it melts so quickly. Maybe mine wasn’t made correctly?

When I was at school I would come here regularly and whenever I go back I make sure I go. This place has such a fun vibe inside and all of the employees are super spunky and friendly. They mix in the toppings so it makes the yogurt taste that much better. Definitely recommend Oreo Cookie Magic or Circus Animal. I also love the one with Nutella and strawberries! The rainbow sprinkles are on point if you are a sprinkle lover.

Interesting frozen yogurt place! Huge menu, interesting flavors. They mix the ingredients with the yogurt on a ‘cold stone’ and they really take time to mix it well. Although there was a long line when I came, I appreciate that the staff still took the time to make each order well, and as customers, it is worth the wait. I got a strawberry french toast, which has strawberry bits and cookie crunches in it. The cinnamon taste was a little too strong though. Although they did leave the yogurt on the stone for a long time, it still melted really quickly. On the same note, a size small is actually really large, and I could not keep up eating with the rate it was melting. While I was waiting, I saw some other interesting orders where they pour a can of orange soda on the stone to mix with the yogurt. If you are in the area and wants froyo, definitely try out this place!

It’s probably called 21 choices, because you have 21 choices when telling people why you love them. I seriously loved this place. When my sister told me about it, I kind of wrote it off as a cold stone creamery for fro yo. I like getting my own toppings so I couldn’t imagine what was so great about a place adding the toppings for you. I was so wrong. First of all, I could never come up with the combinations they do. Second, they completely mix it in so you get a delicious bite with all your additions every time. It seemed pretty busy when we first got there, but they move fast. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted. All 21 choices sounded delicious. I ended up going with the Late Night Study Sesh, which had coffee, lays potato chips, oreos, and a caramel drizzle. I am going to start adding potato chips every time I get fro yo. The combination was genius. The mixer even asked me how strong I wanted the coffee flavor. I told her pretty strong. They pour actual coffee into the froyo! That was new to me. I got the small and it seemed huge. How does anyone ever get a medium or large. I thought, next time I’ll get the very small, until I took the first bite. I devoured my froyo concoction and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I have found my new favorite froyo place and I don’t even live here! My husband got an oreo milkshake. It was exceptionally good too. I feel like I turned away for a second, turned back and it was gone. There really isn’t any place to sit inside other than a couple benches. No problem, just walk across the street to the courtyard and sit in the beautiful sun. That is the perfect day.

This fro yo is absolutely delicious on so many different levels. Imagine having cold stone preparation with a delicious menchies quality fro yo then you’d have this as a result. Although I used other places to describe it, this place is definitely in a class of its own. My personal favorite is the a banana cream pie creation that I love to throw together. Great place and worth the traffic if you’re near the area but even if you’re not try it at least once!

I came here with high hopes because of all the great reviews. I ordered a small strawberry cinnamon toast crunch with graham crackers. The flavors tasted a little weird for my taste. It felt like there were too many things inside of my yogurt and there wasn’t enough yogurt. Plus, the lady helping me was very rude with an attitude. You can tell she was annoyed and was treating customers with no respect. As I was paying, she left and never came back. So i had swiped my card and couldn’t get a printed receipt because she wasn’t there.

I continue to be impressed with 21 Choices. After a few month hiatus from getting yogurt here, we stopped by and I was reminded about how lively and fun atmosphere is here. We enjoyed their free yogurt customer appreciation day on January 26th. I made a stop in again today and purchased a few slices of their red velvet cake to go(.75 cents each! but they don’t always have it from what I understand) and a tres small yogurt. On January 26th, the owner was so generous to give out free small yogurts to all customers, any flavor, including a surprise slice of a delicious red velvet cake on the side or as a mix in(and its rare to find a red velvet cake I like but they serve up a good one). I selected the Madagascar Vanilla Yogurt with a slice of red velvet cake on the side, it was so yummy and I sure felt appreciated by 21 Choices outstanding generosity! Thanks again 21 Choices for making our night! By the way for those of you who don’t know, Customer Appreciation Day w/free small yogurt is every year on January 26th(the owner’s moms bdy). Mark your calendars. Until then, as a quick note: all of their house made daily flavors rotate and are listed on their web site. They have about 6 daily flavors and over 21 choices of custom mix ins which can be made on a cold stone. It is worth a visit though, even if you have to pay.

21 Choices was a staple in my high school years! This is my favorite location because it doesn’t usually get as busy as the Old Town Pasadena one, and it has the Claremont Packing District right next door to walk around. Some tips, if this is your first time: – You can ALWAYS check the daily 6 flavors on their website( ) before making a trip over. These you can sample immediately without having somebody mix it for you, and they tend to be creamier & smoother since they’ve been prepped beforehand! – There are also 21OTHER combinations(stuff like«Chubby Hippo») listed on their menu — these are the popular flavors that they manually mix for you, which is why the price is pretty steep($ 5 for a tres small, yeeesh). But if you’re craving that particular combo and it didn’t make it into the daily flavors, it might be worth it. – For all mix-ins, ask the staff to leave your yogurt on the stone longer! Otherwise, the mixing usually warms everything up and it ends up runny :( Even with Yogurtland just around the corner, it’s clear that 21 Choices has a different appeal. I come here for the experience of sampling unique flavors, interacting with the friendly staff, and customization options & service.

The wait was long on the rainy day we went. It seemed like only one girl was making the ice cream orders for the entire line! My cousin and I had originally wanted Yogurtland but found parking closer to 21 Choices so we opted to go here. I’ve had 21 before in Pasadena so I knew what I was getting myself into. We ordered: Strawberry Tequila Sunrise Circus Animal I got a mini but there were so many ingredients added to the Strawberry Tequila Sunrise she upped the cup to a small but still charge me for a mini. Strawberry Tequila Sunrise was delish! They add orange soda to it, the flavor was yummy. I wish it had been a little more solid though and not so melty. My cousin liked her too, they had a pre-made soft serve or you can request them to hand make it, which is what she did. $ 10+ for two ice creams.

This place is awesome! Super friendly staff they will help you with the overwhelming choices and combinations and let you sample the 6 flavors of the day. You can make your own combo or choose from one of their over the top crazy sounding treats. All fresh ingredients candy, cookies, brownies and fruits. This will be your new favorite ice cream/frozen yogurt!

I’ve always been a loyal patron to the 21 choices in old town Pasadena, so when I hung out at downtown Claremont and saw they have a location here — what did I do? — I walked in even though there was a long queue. The interior design is much nicer, but I’m afraid the service is way too slow and disorganised. My usual is the tres small strawberry Nutella — it’s been left on the counter for tad too long and it started melting already, and it didn’t get chopped up more. Sigh… But still, it’s good to have there store there, it’s cute. I probably would go back again when it’s less busy.

Here’s the magic trick to getting the best possible frozen yogurt from here: get a server that keeps the yogurt on the ice block long enough for it to harden, or if you notice the yogurt is still watery speak up and ask them to keep it on there a little longer. Otherwise you wind up paying a ridiculous amount for water downed yogurt. Overall I get and enjoy anything with nutella and strawberries in it. 3 stars for the inconsistency in how my yogurt comes out and the high prices. Yet from time to time I find myself back here!

Such a cool place. It’s like a cold stone place, but they play with the yogurt instead of cream. They have so many types of toppings which can really create a pretty frozen yogurt and they are very generous on putting on your toppings(except fruit). I had their plain yogurt and mixed with nuts and fruit. A big one, enough to be a meal. But I also ended up paying $ 6 for that. They should not be considered as a one $ shop. Another down side is even they are called 21 choices, they only have 6 choices of flavors on a day. So you need to pick your day if you have a specific preference.
