Specialties

Pita Pit Claremont is about Fresh Thinking, Healthy Eating. Our Mission is to serve world class pitas in a clean restaurant with excellent customer service.

Pita Pit Claremont is food done your way. At Pita Pit, you’re in charge. We have Vegan, Vegetarian, and wide varieties and combinations of meat pitas. You pick the main ingredient and what else goes in it is up to you!

Need a suggestion? Ask your pit crew member what their favorite is. Pita, ingredients, or sauces, our pit crew is trained to help you every step of the way and offer any advice should you need it.

If you’re watching calories, try any pita Fork Style (as a salad) and drop the carbs! We have a whole variety of pitas for 450 calories or less if you’re watching your weight. Need a little extra protein? Try a double meat pita to help with the workout régime.

History

Established in 2012.

Pita Pit Started in Canada but was first franchised in The United States.

The Claremont location was lost by the original franchisee and saved by Corporate. After a time of being corporately run, in December of 2012, Pita Pit was purchased for the second time and re-opened and run by local owners/operators.

Claremont Pita Pit’s new owners vow to promote local business and use local suppliers as often as possible, regularly shopping at Sunday’s Farmers Market for various ingredients to support local suppliers.

Meet the Business Owner

Chelsea F.

Business Owner

Chelsea is one of our owner-operators. She grew up here in Claremont and her mother owns her own store just up the street also in the village. Purchasing the Pita Pit put this mother and daughter team only a block away from each other both in the packing house district.

Chelsea has a very Claremont-minded attitude. Catch her any Sunday purchasing local produce from the farmers market to help support local business. One of her first acts was to join the Chamber of Commerce and start supporting local business and growth.

Pita Pit may be a national Franchise, but Claremont Pita Pit makes sure that they shop local and support local businesses.
