Oh, Deb Shops. I found your website online when I was looking for a dress to wear to a wedding, and I had high hopes. I am SO GLAD I followed my gut feeling, deciding to visit one of your locations in-​person rather than purchasing something off your website.
When I walked in the store, I immediately knew my instincts were right. Blinding neon colors, as far as the eye could see! As I passed the dozens of racks filled with booty shorts, crop tops, scandalous mini-​skirts, «club» tops, etc., I began to worry that I had wasted a trip to this out-​of-​the-​way location (I live in Fullerton and had to battle traffic on the ⁵⁷⁄₆₀ in rush hour).
I only saw one employee working, and then she disappeared when it came time for me to ask for a dressing room. Luckily, I found one that was unlocked, so I ninja-​ed my way in to try on a couple of dresses.
I was NOT impressed with the quality of the material (polyester and rayon… yuck!) Also, I’m 5’10″, and the dresses looked more like long shirts on me. If you’re tall and you’re not planning on layering one of the dresses with tights, leggings, or even jeans, you might be less than pleasantly surprised to discover the dress will barely cover your lady parts.
Bottom line: this is like the ghetto stepsister of Forever 21 or Fashion Bug. It might be okay to purchase tees or tanks here, if you’re going to layer them, but I’d stay away from some of their more «dressy» items, which are horrible in quality and look as though they won’t survive more than a couple washes.

Employees and manager are extremely nice.
I love their clearance and sales they have. Prices are not expensive, I find that the clothes have quality to them. I love the sales when you BUY one, get one for $ 1. Those are definitely the best! I bought a shirt for $ 19.99 and got the other one for a $ 1! They have really cute accessories, bathing suits, clothes, heels, jewelry for all your needs I love that they cater to people of all sizes. I believe they go from size 0 – 13 and 13 – 24. One side of the store is divided for 0 – 13 and the other side 14 – 24.
Check out the clearance racks and things on sale. Also if you are looking for a dress for a formal event, this is definitely the place to check out. They have casual dresses to formal wear.
