Tuxedo Den

I had a suit that my brother gave me that needed the trousers hemmed. I called Jon at Tuxedo Den for a recommendation on where to get it done. he told me to bring them in between 11 – 4 and they would be ready the next day. I took them in at about 215 and Jillian said that if I could wait about 15 – 20 minutes, they would be ready. 15 minutes later they were done and I was on my way. everyone in the store was extremely helpful and courteous. I plan to buy more suits in the near future and will definitely buy them here

I highly recommend this Shop. Not only did we get the exact set of suits we wanted for my brothers wedding but we got them, alterations and all at a better rate then every formal wear store we visited. From Men’s Warehouses, others retailers from SoCal all the way to Sac, no one we met was offering the prices and delivering the speed and attention to detail Tuxedo Den and sales associate Celeste Oliveras did.
Prior to the wedding last September, our groomsmen were spread all over CA building futures as young men do and some of them had to send in their measurements w/​special size adjustments on the tag sheets and every alteration from there on was perfect and each request met swiftly. Celeste was very professional and creative! She found a way to fit one of our big up-​top guys by mixing and matching various sets of sizes and made us all look like we’d been in the gym all summer!
Celeste and Tuxedo Den Management and staff went above and beyond our expectations. When a couple of our guys heard the way we were being taken care of at this store they canceled there previous orders and sent their business to Tuxedo Den. Thanks Tuxedo Den and big thank you Celeste! You did a terrific job and everyone kept commenting on how great our we looked in our suits. I definitely recommend you guys business. Ignore the bad reviews. This staff is small but ask for Celeste and her team, they will know how to take care of you. And remember to make an appointment! It makes the service that much better. Keep up the great work guys

This place does NOT deserve any star. Unilocal wouldn’t allow the no star rating. When I called I specifically told them what I was looking for. I left work early to go and pick up the item. When I got the the girl couldn’t find the item that was supposed to be set aside for me. The service was crapy. I was mislead. The girl wasted my time.

Zero stars! Came on Thursday to a tux that was completely wrong in sizes. Ware house did not have the sizes, was told the suit would be there Friday, and then it wasn’t there yet Friday evening. Came in on Saturday to pick it up after being told it would be there by 11:30am. Well its 2 hours later and still no correctly sized suit. Not only that, but now we are having to settle for 3 separate pieces of a tux that do not match being pieced together for the best man in a wedding in a few hours. The employees in this store have no sense of urgency or common sense as far as serving a customer. Bottom line, go anywhere but here and hopefully you will be OK. Only come here if you want a terrible experience and have to go through their storage piecing together your own suit and pack it up yourself! Thanks for making what should have been a great day a stressful one!!! You suck!!!

I am a little confused by the bad reviews…
I’ve been the the one in the mall before and when I needed to buy a suit for my fiancé for our wedding they said I should go here because the lady here know all there is to know about what they sell… They were right.
I must have gotten pretty lucky because they weren’t super busy. The lady helping me only excused herself one or twice during the whole time I was there. She seemed really knowledgeable and she actually seemed pretty excited to help me choose a suit. She must like her job. It was a stark contrast from the other company I visited during this process!
My fiancé is very picky (I have to return half the stuff I buy him) and he is way more fashion conscious than me but she was right with what she said he’d like. Slim fit is in! I got him a tan suit that came with a vest that she said was really hot for summer weddings, lol, and because my dress is off white she suggested I get an off white shirt so his white shirt wouldn’t make my dress look dirty. She showed me the comparison and she was right. Go figure.
Since they have one that they rent there on display she dressed it with the colors of my wedding so I know he’ll look awesome. And because they rent one just like the guys can rent their suit and stuff since they won’t wear it again anyway. Now all I have to do is bring my fiancé in to have the pants hemmed for his size and show him what we looked at for the guys.
I appreciate good customer service and this girl really knew what she was doing.

I don’t usually write on Unilocal but I just had to write this one…
My groomsmen 8 of them BOUGHT and ALTERED there suites from here. The staff were only 6 month employed and did not know about SUITES. They did not write down their measurements of the groomsmen and just went on what «THE STAFF» thought would be good for them. They LOST the GROOMS pants a week before the wedding. The alterations looked like a LITTLE GIRL could have done better and when one groomsmen asked for 38 they said, no a 36 will do… THEY WERE WRONG… they had to order his 3 TIMES! My bride ended up crying in the store because of THE STAFF STUPIDITY. Then when spoke to the general manager Jillian Holmes she tried to LIE to me and tell me that everything was ok.
PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE… BUNCH OF STAFF THAT DO A CRAPPY JOB!!! BAD ATTITUDES, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND WORST SUITES AND ALTERATIONS

Best place to get suited up! The owner is amazing, the customer service is at the top of the game! The suits are amazing, color selection is great. The prices are great!
I had all my wedding party come here and the whole process was perfect from start to finish!!! We got the best suits from here. All my men looked amazing.

Tuxedo den found me a tux for the same night that fit perfectly. All for $ 100! They rock!

I had a very unique tuxedo requirement on a tight timeline, and they gave me a solution better that I had thought of on my own. Very cheerful and helpful.

Worst place ever!!! They screwed up our order in so many ways… none of the ties matched like they were supposed to, all of the measurements were wrong, 4 pairs of the shoes feel apart within an hour of putting them on, and my brothers tux was wrong altogether. They had to reorder it and it didn’t get in until an hour before the wedding, with all of their screw ups they did not do a single thing to make it right or offer any consolation. Then after we turn in everything and it gets all checked in by the staff we are billed $ 450.00 3 weeks later with no notice whatsoever. After calling to figure out why we were told a coat was missing (even though the staff previously checked in ALL the items and said we were good). After multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact the manager, my husband was finally able to reach him. We were told that the items were sub-​leased from a different place and weren’t considered returned until they got back to the warehouse (not just their store). So we followed the return policy and because the jacket was lost or misplaced by their staff after the fact we are having to pay for it??? All the manager could say was that it wasn’t his problem. The manager/​owner John is a criminal!!! If you want your wedding/​event to go smoothly, I recommend staying far away from this place. I have never had such a bad experience/​customer service.

LOL THIS PLACE IS A JOKE
They screwed up my brother’s measurements. He literally looked like a clown wearing the oversized tuxedo that they put on him. We are asian. We have a small body frame. My mother sent a picture to me of the tuxedo they had put on him… It was a complete disaster. Prom is in less than 24 hours. They couldn’t accomodate his size. Nothing. You would think a tuxedo «den» would at least have SOMETHING that would fit him. Nope. Wrong! Person working there gave them attitude. Mother was so so so so so upset. They didn’t compromise for the hassle and trouble they went through. Material is cheap. Rather spend $ 400 on a nice tuxedo than spend $ 180 on cheap material clown-​looking ones.
Don’t go here :) You’re much better off going to Men’s Warehouse or something. Didn’t know why we went there instead since we’ve always had a good experience with them.
HAPPY Prom Season !

Outstanding product and customer service. During the fitting, many options were offered for my sons Senior prom tuxedo. The staff has been exceptional with their knowledge and ability solve the minor adjustments on the spot!

Initially the service was good, the lady we got was pretty good. We went in for wedding tuxedos. When our wedding day came closer the service was less than satisfactory. They continually asked if I was sure I used there location. Um really? Am I that much of a moron I don’t know? When I said I am sure I purchased from them, they had an attitude and acted like I was wasting there time!
I was initially told I did not need an appointment for the final fitting. But when I called a day before saying I was picking up the tux and we wanted to do a quick fit, just for pants and jacket they said this was prom season and I should have made an appointment! Seriously? Good thing I asked the first time.
In all customer service is horrible and the tuxes were ok. Go somewhere else if you can

I haven’t rented any tuxedos yet, but I went in today Sunday, and they normally close at 5 but Jon, the manager, was working later and welcomed my mom and I in.
We have been having a hard time with tuxedos for our wedding because our wedding is in Phoenix, Arizona. He is so great at helping us find solutions and we even fount grey suits that we originally wanted for a lower price than men’s warehouse!
I definitely recommend this tuxedo den!

The manager John ended up having ties for our wedding custom made at no extra charge!!! I can’t believe it! The ties looked incredible! How do you better customer service then that!!!

Unsurpassed customer service!!! My husband and I opted for a last minute wedding with a flight leaving to Puerto Rico in four days. We tried several other Tuxedo rental agencies. Esmeralda saved us!!! She found us the perfect colored suit. Esmeralda even went as far to immediately tailor it herself so we could have it that day! This store serves as the storage house for other Tuxedo Dens therefore they have a huge selection. They also have a huge clearance center! I highly recommend them! You will not be disappointed!

I don’t rent tuxedos often but when i do, i will come here now.
My friend took me here and all his groomsmen for his wedding to get fitted. They were fast and worked with all my needs.
I came back a few months later to do the final fitting and pick up my tux with no problems. They had made a few adjustments to my suit and i was on my way.
Upon returning my tux, i had lost a decorative button cover for my vest and Ezmeralda took care of it. I thought for sure i was going to be in hot water. Upon first impression i though she was a manager or owner, but maybe she just the way she carries herself by being assertive and being personable.
Ezmeralda is a doll and an angel.
I am booked for a couple more weddings in the next few months and i know where i will end up getting my tux. Tuxedo Den.

My fiancé and I went in to look at tuxedos for our wedding. We were hesitant because of prior reviews. However, it was a GREAT experience. The gentleman was AWESOME and gave us great information on the tuxedos and weddings overall. If my fiancé doesn’t find a tux in SF (where he is from) we will return to Tuxedo Den. Thanks for all the great help!

I went to a bridal show back in February and paid $ 10 to get a discount on the tux rentals. I’ve gotten about a dozen phone calls to schedule an appointment ever since. When we finally made our way in, we were not thrilled. The two girls here weren’t too helpful and the other girl had a pissed off attitude like she didn’t want to be there. Not my problem. Not sure if we were being treated differently because we were getting a discount?! What I don’t get is why even call a potential customer to schedule an appointment to get them in to be snotty and rude to them?
I picked out a chinese mandarin type suit that looked decent for the guys to try on. So the guys are getting measured and during this whole time, she wasn’t friendly at all to my husband or any of the groomsmen. The guys did tell her that it was too tight around their necks and she told them that this is the way it’s supposed to fit. I told her that it was not a big deal if it fits loosely around their necks or wrists, just as long as the guys were comfortable. I also told her my husband wanted a different type of suit and we were looking at another place so we are not set on picking this suit. She was pushy and still insisted on us placing the order! Needless to say, we stepped foot out of there never to return. We found another place that actually cares about their customers and customer service. After all of this, I referred my father-​in-​law to another location to order his tux and they messed up on his order since this location on Greenback wrote down the wrong wedding date! It was the 15^th, not the 25^th (which was a Tuesday). Not that many weddings I know that is on a Tuesday. The staff should’ve definitely caught that. I’m no bridezilla but I was really irritated with the staff here. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, they will mess up your order somehow… whether it’s size, color or date.
