Im reassured that a cobbler still exists and look forward to allowing these craftsmen to handle an apparatus that supports all of me to ply their trade.

I’ve taken shoes, boots and purses to Mt. Lookout Shoe Repair. They always do great work. My Louis Vuitton purse was restored to impeccable beauty. Michael is friendly and funny and helpful High marks!

I had a number of shoes I took in as a first time customer. I had two pairs of high heels that needed buffed and new tips. It cost $ 6.50 to repair. I was okay with the quality of the repair. I figured for $ 6.50 they would have cleaned up the shoes but there was dirt left under the heel.
I bought in one Sperry shoe that needed re-​laced. For just one shoe (not a pair) it was $ 6.50, pretty pricey in my opinion.
I brought in a total of 3 boots (one pair and one single shoe). They warned me when I brought them in that they don’t have great success with the type of material which I understood. They took the boots in the back to get a second opinion and said they could try to do something. The single boot that had one cat bite mark in it and it cost $ 14.95 to fix. I could see the material was still damaged but they tried to cover it will color. That was fine attempt to fix it but $ 14.95 for literally one boot?! The next a set of boots they said they could not fix the scuff marks all over it (bummer but I was warned). They did put new tips on it but it wasn’t something, in my opinion, that wasn’t needed and not asked for. I paid $ 19.95 for the «fix» to those boots!
My grand total was $ 60! He mumbled that he took off $ 4.00 but I don’t see where. My math put my total, before taxes, at $ 55.
From my experience, they seem to be good at replacing tips but the price seems high. I would never bring boots to this place. Suggestion for this business, if things aren’t fixed, then the cost should adjusted.

So, will never bring my shoes to this place again. From last review, I had to bring boots and dress shoes back a second time. The boots were polished and colored better this time around but they ruined my black dress shoes that I’ve owned for years. They scratched my black shoes up terribly and did not polish them correctly. I took my black dress shoes to a competitor and they told me mt lookout shoe repair ruined your shoes. Beware of this place. There quality of work has really went down. they used to do a really good job.

A friend of mine told me to try out this shoe repair when my puppy got a hold of my shoe. I took them here and he said they would fix them. I never heard back from them and so I went back after two weeks. At first, they could not even find them. Finally after searching, he found them and said they had not even begun them. I waited another two weeks (one month later) to check on the shoes. They still had not even begun to work on them! He told me when they have a challenging shoe, for example one a puppy chewed on, they just put them to the side and work on them if they feel like they have time. Could they not have at least told me this when I took them? He said they would keep them and work on them eventually. And here’s the funny part, they said it could take up to a year and it would cost around $ 80! This place is a joke. The shoes were $ 115 and still in season! I took them to the shoe repair in Madeira just to see if the estimate was fair or not. The shoe repair in Madeira had them FINISHED in three days for $ 15. Never in one million years would I bring back a shoe to this place or recommend it to anyone that actually wants their shoes fixed.

I took a pair of booties here to get the heels fixed and couldn’t have been happier with the service. I was in and out in no time and it was a good price. I would definitely recommend!

Did a great job repairing a pair of black leather cap toe work shoes. Quality work and fair price. Dropped off on a Tuesday and picked up on Saturday. Friendly service… I will use them again.

I am very happy with the services and experience I had at Mt Lookout Shoe Repair.
I had snagged a pair of Gucci black leather pointy-​toed heels at a consignment store for $ 30 and LOVED them. Unfortunately, after several weeks of daily wear, the sole completely came off one of the shoes and was a flapping worthless mess. I considered just tossing the pair out and mourning my brief one-​time tryst with Gucci but I just wasn’t ready to part with them yet.
I read good reviews on MLSR and decided to take them there. I had a very friendly employee examine my shoes, encourage me that all was not lost and made suggestions. I paid the upfront cost of $ 58 (totally worth it if MLSR could deliver on their promises) and was ticketed to pick up my shoes in 1 week.
MLSR totally delivered! My shoes were ready and looked awesome! They re-​glued the sole and it is snug and tight. Because the shoes were dangerously worn out and slippery on the bottoms, they added soles that have made such a difference as I walk to the office (I have even ran in them during a rain, BOOM). And they even did some sort of voodoo where they buffed all the scuffs out of the pointy toes, making them look almost brand new.
I highly recommend taking your beloved footwear to MLSR before tossing them, and seeing if they can work their same magic. The price was well worth the quality of repair that they produced.

I brought in a pair of riding boots to have the zipper replaced. These boots have been around forever and I was worried they were a lost cause. The guys brought my boots back from the dead and even polished them correctly! I’ll definitely be a repeat customer!

Top marks for Mt. Lookout Shoe Repair. Having read the Unilocal reviews, so I brought in a pair of dress shoes that were in need of heel repair and sole repair at the toe. They were also in desperate need of a shine. I wasn’t in a hurry to get them back, so the one week turnaround was not problematic. I asked for the cost estimate and was told $ 50 or so. Very pleasant experience so far.
Fast forward to shoe pick-​up today. When they brought them out, they looked almost new! I was very pleased. Even more so when the actual price was about 80% of the estimate. Double bonus.

I’ve been a patron for the 5 years that I’ve lived here. I was referred to them by Nordstrom and have always been happy with their service. What sets them apart is their attention to detail. They special ordered leather to perfectly match a bag that my wife brought in for repair and when they couldn’t match a shoe polish color, they asked if clear polish would be satisfactory. Cobblers I’d visited in the past polished with what they had whether it matched or not.
They’ll continue to have my family’s business.

I came here after reading the reviews from Unilocal about their decent service and quality. So I took my boots to fix the zipper. They recommended me to replace the heels as well and I agreed with that. They said its gonna take around one week and they’d give me a call if they finished it before that. 8 days later i didn’t hear anything back so I made a call. They said they haven’t finished it and when I asked ‘when can I get it done then?’ They said a couple more days. It took me a while to negotiate and they ended up along ‘tell me when do you want it, this is how we work here.’ And ended up agreeing to finish it on that day. I would not give the credit since the work was very rough. The nail was not well done and I asked them whether this was how it’s supposed to be like, and they went back inside to redo it which didn’t make it much better to me.

I took a pair of Birkenstocks in to have the heels replaced as they were wearing out. 25 $, same day service! With a line forming behind me the cashier still managed to make a great impression on me. Fast work, great attitude from the employees! go here for all your shoe repair needs!

We took my husband’s pile of shoes to Mt. Lookout Shoe Repair, and all of their sundry problems were fixed– his shoe collection is back to new! They were very clear and up-​front about what can and can’t be fixed and did a good job of setting our expectations. The work was high-​quality, and we’ll bring more shoes to them in the future!
We did have to wait a week to get everything back, so don’t be in a hurry.

There’s no need for me to describe the ambiance of the room, it’s not like you’re eating dinner there. This small and unassuming shoe repair facility in the hamlet of Mt Lookout is absolutely terrific. They do very good shoe repair, deliver in a timely manner and charge a fair price. The materials they use are high quality. I had a pair of oxfords repaired and they replaced the rubber heels with genuine Goodyear! How awesome is that??!

This place is the best. The employees are incredibly nice and helpful, and the quality of the work is top notch.
They got huge salt stains out of my expensive leather boots and now they look like new. Plus, they were nice enough to finish up the boots and get them back to me in just 2 days since they knew I was heading out of town and that I needed them before I left. I’ve also taken leather bags to them before for repairs and those always come back looking great.
Another great thing is that they’re open Saturdays, which is really convenient. Definitely the best shoe & leather good repair store in the area.

This business is super helpful and their work is outstanding. I’m in the military. On my last deployment, I beat my boots up pretty bad. When I came home on leave, I set out to fix them for the duration of my tour. I originally dropped them off at another shop with a guarantee that they’d be ready in a week and a half. I showed up on the pick up date, and they hadn’t even moved from the counter where I placed them. I demanded a refund and immediately called Mt Lookout Shoe Repair. They promised a 4 day turnaround and at a lower price! My boots were completely refurbished with the suede brushed and cleaned, the stitching reinforced, and repairs made in the cracks. My boots lasted the last eight months in Afghanistan with no problems. I also took my dress uniform shoes in for a high gloss shine and polish. They came out great! This place is absolute quality at a good price. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

These guys are magicians.
I’ve taken in multiple purses and pairs of shoes, most notably a pair of purple suede boots with year-​old salt stains from a harsh winter. A daunting task to be sure, but they faithfully called to update me about once a week, and once they were ready, had done a wonderful job. Incredible work and fair pricing: you will not be disappointed.

Great spot for leather working! The craftsmanship is quality and I have had 2 leather couch cushions repaired there as well as a pair of shoes. I just got my couch cushion back today and they repaired the hole from the inside so you can’t tell or see any stitching.
The son is super nice and great with customers.

Great spot for shoe repairs. These guys really know what they’re doing. They’ve fixed up a pair of heels and boots nicely and really know what they’re doing. I’ve found that they offer to realllly fix up my heels or resole my boots (aka totally upselling you), but if just want a new heel tip repair, they’ll happily do just that.
They’ve also fixed a few handbags and re-​sewn my dog’s leashes after he’s chewed them a part.
The hours are pretty limited, so plan ahead.
