The absolute worst car dealership in Cincinnati. I have never had a more terrible experience in my life.
In 2013 I purchased a 2010 Mazda 3 from the used car department of this dealership. From damaging my car during service to taking 3 weeks to fix the damage and then blaming me for the issue to not returning phone calls. Telling me my car was ready for pick up and making me wait for 3 hours. A rude receptionist who greets you with «Sup» and is argumentative. Lying about terms of the sale and warranty. And when I finally traded the car in at another dealership in November of 2015 they have refused to return the balance of my extended warranty coverage. I have been waiting 3 months for a check. After driving 45 minutes to this dealership to fill out the paperwork and then calling and leaving voicemail after voicemail there is still no result.
From start to finish the worst customer service experience of my life.
Save yourself the time and anguish and buy from somewhere else.

The car I purchased was very specific car and that is what brought me to jake Sweeney. I bought January 9, 2015. Brad Molholn (can’t remember the proper spelling) knew that the car was black and had a tearing wheel. That’s about it but I knew I wanted this car.
I signed the paper work on the car with John Williams. He pursued me into purchasing the extended elite warranty by say it covered anything that would go wrong excluding rims and tires. He told me anything on the interior and it even included if needed new brakes. A day or two after I purchased it received a call from Brad saying I sign the wrong paperwork work for my loan. They insisted on me coming in that day. I work and cannot drop everything and drive 40 min out of way to sign paperwork they messed up on but I did and they told me they would fill my tank. They did not do that.
So fast forward to today I brought my car in because the headlight got water in it and didn’t work. Come to find out I was not covered and they wanted to charge $ 1100 for a new one. So went to John and went over the warranty. As he was giving me the same talk I was reading the fine print. I pointed out that over half of what he said was not true. He read it and reluctantly agreed. I had to cancel my warranty based on lies.

After buying a Chevy Cruze for my son we were fortunately back to buy a replacement three months later. I say «fortunately» because after a near head-​on 30mph accident we discovered the high safety rating for the Cruze is well deserved. Both drivers walked away with nothing more than bruises and a few scrapes.
So we walked into Jake Sweeney Chevy looking to take advantage of the 20% off MSRP on the older stock but they were sold out of LT1’s in that category and nothing was really available in the vicinity for trade. Instead, Don Scott was able to get my son into a 2016 Limited, minus the convenience package on the previous Cruze, for a competitive price. That entire process took less than 30 minutes. I love simplicity.

My car, a sports car, was taken for a 5.1 mile joyride when I brought it in for service! Grrrr!
Before I discovered that, I had been thinking about making this my new place for auto service. The quality of the repair service was actually 5 stars, but overshadowed by the unprofessional behavior.
I am a car person and my father was a mechanic. I ALWAYS pay attention to mileage, especially when I take my car for service. When you take a vehicle for repair, you are placing trust in the business to treat your car with care, and trust that the people who will be handling your car will act professionally at all times.
To take a customer’s car out for a joyride is disgusting, unprofessional behavior. It is also arrogant to assume that the vehicle owner won’t notice.
Now, of course, there are some repairs that require your mechanic to drive your car around. The service I took the car in for ABSOLUTELY DID NOT REQUIRE THAT IT BE DRIVEN ANYWHERE! At most, moving it from the check in area to the service bay to the pick up should have shown a tenth of a mile change, if anything. Definitely not over 5 miles (the dealership is located a few blocks from 275, so I am guessing that is where the lowlife took it).
I have a car that is no longer manufactured, so it is not like it could be replaced or that replacement parts would necessarily be easy to find in the event that it was damaged. I was more troubled by the fact that if there had been an accident, other people could have been harmed. I know because of the type of car it is, whoever took it out wasn’t driving like some old grandma.
If you don’t own a high performance vehicle, and have a regular or POS car, you are probably okay going here for service. However, I think people deserve a place that is trustworthy and treats each customer and their car with respect

My husband and I had just had our vehicle totaled and needed a new one. We went to jake Sweeney and a AWESOME salesmen named Jerrell Johnson. He wanted us happy and we wanted a good car for a good price he found us just that and then to top it off made our payments right within budget! He is honest and will work hard for you!

I went to tri county branch, and got Tina to assist me… She promised that they can fix the broken door of the car and she even say it will be like brand new
me I trust her by what she say and got the car. She even say 1week is the maximum time to fix it. In 2weeks the car still not completely fix there’s still problem wth the door and when I say just give me diffrent car they don’t let me anymore!.. and I hope they make sure that they can fix the door right bfre selling it not to promise and can’t keep their
unprofessional.And yet she even have a got to give me

I went to this dealership to trade in my Jeep Wrangler for a larger vehicle. Sales guy was really nice. That was the only good thing about my experience. My appointment was at 11 am. Apparently, the manager had been driving the vehicle I was looking at. I had to wait until 12:30 for him to get there so I could finally look at the car I drove 2 hours to see. I liked the vehicle and wanted to see how much they’d give me for my car. If anyone knows wranglers, they hold value like crazy. The sales guy went on a whole spiel about how they hold value like diamonds. My wrangler was a 2015 and had 7k miles on it. I put another 1k into with new wheels, tires, and accents. It was in perfect condition. I paid $ 32k for it. Sticker was 34k. Their first offer was $ 23k. Extremely contradicting what the sales guy had just said to me about their value. It was basically a brand new vehicle. I got them up to $ 25k. Needless to say, I left. The sales guy texted me and said he was taking it to upper management. I never heard back from him. I went to a dealership where I currently live and their first offer for my jeep was $ 28k. I got them to $ 29.5k. The people at Jake Sweeney were trying to make A LOT of money off my car. I will never go there again.

Out of state cash buyer for a used Corvette in low sales season. Had everything arranged, including non-​refundable tickets for transportation, car rental, independent inspection, and a quite large cashier’s check. All this info conveyed to dealer on Friday. They were supposed to hold for one day for my arrival Monday (supposedly closed Sunday). Saturday, I get a call telling me it’s been sold. I guess I should just be happy I didn’t arrive there Monday & find out then. The individual salesman, Jason, I dealt with was nice.
Can not recommend dealing with an outfit that treats customers this way. Nearby McClusky Chevrolet has a good reputation among Corvette owners, especially for service, so if you’re looking in the area, it may well be in your interest to do business with them, or another nearby dealer instead of Sweeney.

Three cars from Jake Sweeney, and I have never had a complaint. Bringing in my 2012 GMC Terrain for warranty service was about as easy and convenient as I could imagine. Everything was handled professionally, and minimized my time and hassle associated with the repairs. Jake Sweeney Chevrolet did everything they could to keep it simple, keep me happy, and proactively handle everything. Eric Schulkers was a wonderful service representative, and everyone was polite and helpful, even the gentleman whose job was to move the cars for the customers and technicians. I even made the mistake of leaving my house keys behind just before closing, and Eric made sure to find them and even brought them to me in my car so that I did not have to get out and come inside. I love this dealership, and if there is such a thing as dealership for life, Jake Sweeney Chevrolet would be my choice. I recommend them every time someone I know is looking to buy a vehicle or needs dealer service.

I bought a 2014 Volt and had a great experience. Worked with Rich Blank and Don Scott. I really appreciate the openness and transparency they provided with the pricing. I would recommend these two gentlemen to anyone who is looking for a new car.

I brought in my 2011 Traverse for 3 issues. 1-​my rear AC would intermittently blow hot air. 2-​some of my buttons on my front panel (fan up and down) were scratched up and needed replaced, 3-​part of my drivers seat plastic.
The service person named Mark stayed in constant telephone contact with me to inform me of what was going on with my car.
He was very courteous with every call.
they had to order a part which didn’t come in until Monday, but they called immediately to let me know and told me I could either come pick it up or leave it and they would let me know when the car was done.
Luckily, I had an extra vehicle to drive. The only thing I would say that they could have improved on, is that they could have offered me a free rental since this was a warranty repair.
Other than that, I give them a perfect 10!
