Breakout Cincinnati

This was the most fun my family has had in years! My whole family (9 people ranging from ages 8 to 52) loved it. We can’t wait to go back and try the other rooms. I would recommend trying to sign up for two rooms in one day with a short break (about an hour or so) in between. Trust me, after you do the first room, you’ll want to go again!
The staff was enthusiastic and helpful, which really adds to the experience because they act as «game masters» who help you through the room if you need it. This was a great bonding experience for my family, and I’m sure it would be just as great as a coworker team-​building exercise. In fact, I would recommend it to anyone, of any age, for any purpose!

Great extended family experience!

So fun! We had a group of six and did the Casino Royale room, although we thought we were pretty skilled, we were about 3 minutes short of breaking out. Needless to say, it was much harder than we anticipated. We’re already talking about when we can go back. Fun!

What a fun experience! With some family in town, we decided to get together and give this experience a try.
I had never done anything like this, so I have no other escape rooms to compare to. Our entire group was impressed with the story and the challenges. It’s only fun if it’s not spoiled, so no details about the Casino Royale room we worked through.
I also felt that it was definitely worth the money we spent. At around $ 25 per person, you get a solid hour of challenge and fun. Not only that, you will find your group talking about it for hours after.
I will say that it was more challenging than I was expecting. We did not escape in time, though we were close. The employees were also super friendly and helpful.
All in all, a fun, different way to spend some time.

Apprehensive, I was. When I got notice that all of us from the office were going to a «team-​Building» event. Being around my co-​workers 8 hours a day can be overwhelming enough. Then I am going to be «locked» in a small room with them for another hour. Scary!!!
But it wasn’t that bad at all. In fact, I had fun. We did the Casino Royale room, which fed on my desire to be a Secret Agent. I won’t play spoiler and tell you much about the room, but it was challenging and fun. We did not make it out in our allotted 1 hour time limit and were captured and… That is another story! :)
The employees there were so friendly and didn’t make us feel at all stupid about out ineptness. They were all willing to chat and make casual conversation while giving us an overview to what we could expect. Our guide (Devon, I think) was fantastic. We were a group of 40 somethings and she went pretty easy on us.
I would suggest this for anyone who wants to have a good time while using your brain. Then have some drinks afterward. This place knows customer service and fun. Enjoy.

I have not actually visited this facility but I am so impressed with the front desk’s level of customer service! I called because I am purchasing a gift certificate but I live in a different state. She processed my order on the phone and dropped the vouchers in the mail. She did not act like I was taking up her time even though they have a website to order these and made sure to let me know everything they would get with my purchase. Some one who truely loves their job, we need more people like that.

Such a fun, different, and entertaining experience! We did the kidnapping escape and the hour flew by! Full of riddles and clues to try and get out in under an hour and there was never a dull moment. They allow 8 people, and I’d highly recommend filling the whole party with your friends or coworkers because it’s great bonding experience and slightly weird/​awkward with another set of strangers. It’s open late too! Can’t wait to come back and try the other themes, and they try to make new ones so you can always have something new to try!

Breakout Cincinnati really takes the concept of a breakout room to the next level. A group of 5 others and myself went and did the Museum Heist and had a blast, barely escaping with a little over a minute left to spare. The clues are difficult, but not so tough that they leave you stumped. The game master in our case was helpful as well when we asked for clues as you are allowed to do.
The best part of the experience here at Breakout Cincinnati had to be the attention to detail with how they put together and made the rooms impeccably realistic. It really felt like we were trying to rescue a stolen work of art with the minutes quickly ticking away. It also left me wanting to make some of the cool contraptions that they fit into our room.
With them just opening up a new «Island Escape» room which is supposed to be their most challenging room yet, I can’t wait to be back. Hopefully, savoring another well-​won victory over the puzzles we come up against.

Our office went for Employee Appreciation Day and everyone loved it!

Encouraged by a fantastic Unilocal event in the Kidnap Room here, I had to go back and try another adventure.
Casino Royale it was.
So cool! You get to be James Bond for one hour and it is a really refreshing way to spend an evening with a group of friends.
People are super nice and friendly there and the rooms and clues are very well prepared.
I am hooked! Will be back for new adventures. Luckily, they change periodically! :)

A must do. I highly recommend this if you want to do something fun, intense and use your critical thinking skills with friends and family. Definitely going back to try the other theme rooms.

Great experience

Such a great time and a fun way to use your brain! Everyone enjoyed it! Definitely would recommend to everyone– work or fun. The amount of detail used in the room is amazing. I can’t wait to go back.

Had a great time last night playing our first breakout game. The puzzles are challenging, but not impossible. I participated in the kidnapping. No hints about the game here. I went with my boyfriend and it was great to be paired with others. Teamwork is essential in thinking through the various puzzles. The clues are helpful but need to be wise about using them. Definitely something fun to do.

We had a blast and are all still talking about it the next day! We did it as a team building activity and found it to be ther perfect mix of exciting and intellectually challenging. Breakout Cincinnati was accomodating and easy to work with, I would highly recommend it!

Me & 6 friends tried the Breakout Kidnapping tonight. None of us really knew what to expect — but we had A BLAST. We BROKE OUT with 1 minute & 13 seconds to spare. It was extremely challenging & looking back on it, I’m not sure how we even did it! It was really fun though, & I know we’re already planning to go to the other options they have!

If you’re looking for something new and exciting to do with your friends and family, get to Breakout Cincinnati!
My friends had an awesome time trying to break out and grew closer in the process. It’s really great because every gets to take on a role in the breakout process. We all had our victories!
The staff is super friendly and encouraging along the way. I will definitely be back to try another room!

This place is amazing! I did the Museum Heist scenario last night and will be going back soon to tackle the other games. The event can be applied to a family fun night, a corporate team building exercise or a date night. Some of the tasks are so simple it’ll leave you kicking yourself for missing the clues and just overthinking things in general. The staff was very friendly and emailed me the picture they took of us the next day, within minutes of my request.

Our team had an incredible experience at Breakout Cincinnati! This is an awesome way to invest 1 hour of time and really challenge your mind as well as your ability to work together and listen to one another. Strongly suggest this for co-​workers, peer groups, roundtables, committees, friends and families! You will feel like you are in your own version of the movie National Treasure!

Tonight was an absolute blast! Breakout Cincinnati is a must do.
The owners were fantastic. The facility is really nice, and the game was incredible. We decided to do «the kidnapping» and boy was it intense. We loved the back story that the game had and solving the clues as the clock ticked away was so exhilarating. I would recommend anyone to go to Breakout Cincinnati. I could see this as a great team building opportunity for managers that think outside of the box and want to provide their team with fun exciting ways to learn to work together, or a fun night for a group of friends.
I will certainly be back to Breakout Cincinnati. I can’t wait to try the other scenarios that they offer.
