Boy, does this store have a lot of crap. If you’ve lived in one place long enough there is a draw you end up with that is filled with all kinds of things that you’ve collected over graduations, marriages, baby showers and your own impulse buying. It’s known as the junk drawer. It’s the drawer that your children will finally just dump into a garbage bag while they’re cleaning out your place a few days after your funeral. Most of that junk seems to come from the kitchen section of this store. They have flavor injectors and wine chillers. They have silly over-designed pepper mills and egg poaching toys. They have a diverse selection of corn cob holders. There were cute ice cube trays and novelty vegetable peelers. You know, junk. You know they didn’t have? A channel knife. That’s fine. Often a channel knife comes on a zester. Where’s the zesters? The staff had no idea. After looking up the twenty foot walls of spoons and whisks and thermometers, I found nothing. Finally, on a low shelf, almost hidden was the one, single solitary zester that this store carried. It did have a channel knife. Success! It begs the question: why have only one zester? It’s a tool somebody might actually use? It is a legitimate kitchen tool. Why? Ah, because this isn’t a store to buy stuff to cook with. It’s a store to buy stuff to give to other people who aren’t going to be cooking, not really. They’re going to play with it once or twice and then put it in their junk drawer and a banana slicer that actually brags about it’s «dull stainless steel blades»( ) is a more exciting gift than a lemon zester.

This location seems very small to me, with crowded aisles and narrow walkways. I couldn’t find an item that I had previously bought at another location.

It has the same stuff as the rest of them located in the same places BUT doesn’t see the customer mileage that some others do and often will have things in stock that other stores may have run out of… The staff is somewhat friendly but they do watch payroll closely at this store(as with all BBB) and frequently will have lines at their measely 2 registers because they don’t have enough working. Watch your pricing at BBB — often cookware is extremely overpriced as is decorative items. I’m giving this big box 2 stars because of pricing and staffing issues. This particular location is a wee bit better than others. __________________________________ changed to 3 stars — went there for new mattress pad. found one deeply discounted BUT had to get the ladder out myself and climb to the ceiling looking for the right size. Once again, understaffed.
