Sharp Chula Vista Outpatient Surgery Center

I had to have a procedure done and my doctor gave me the option of here, scrips, or ucsd. I definitely am a sharp-​Reese stealy fan. I’ve always taken my kids and husband and myself to their facilities because it’s a name you can trust.
The hospital is far from me but it did not disappoint, all the nurses were accommodating and on top of everything.
Parking is easy, the hospital is nice and all the doctors are very good

Best customer service I’ve ever experienced from a hospital! Mario the ultrasound tech and Enrique in radiology go above and beyond. Keep up the good work sharp .your staff rocks.

From the moment I checked in to the time I got discharged I was pleasantly surprised by all the nice amenities that this surgery center offer. I have to say that the best part of all was the BAIR PAWS warming system. When you are called back by name there is so much that they do with you but first and foremost you change into a hospital gown… and we aren’t talking a flimsy little paper gown. This is a double layer, extra long gown with several large holes that have a flap over them. This is where the BAIR PAWS come into play… they attatch this hose system into one of these flaps and they give you a remote control and you get to control the level of heat that you get. It was freaking amazing and took all the frost off my bod. They let me keep my socks on and even gave me a pair of non slip socks to put over my own socks. The worst part of surgery has always been the cold but no more here at Sharp Chula Vista Outpatient Surgery Center.
Now, let me rave about their timliness. They were soooo prompt and each and every part of the process was systematic and never once did i feel like a number. They were all courteous and kind. I am a healthcare worker myself and have been for the last 18 yrs and the fact that they impressed me should tell you that they are stellar in both customer service and comfort and professional abilities. Finally, the last thing that i wanna say before giving two thumbs up to my nurse Gay is that they even give you food and drink upon waking up and never once did they make me feel rushed to leave their facility. Gay my nurse was the best bedside nurse i have ever had. She was attentive in every way and never gave me the annoyed look that you get from many hospital workers when you ask one too many questions. So if i ever have to have an outpatient surgical procedure again i will make every effort to get authorization from my insurance to have the work done here. LOVE it for so many reasons but especially for the Bair Paws warming system.
One more thing… met the manager of the surgery center who happened to do the final check of all my chart information prior to being called back for the actual surgery. She was so very nice and very helpful and I thanked her personally for the nice touches that I noticed about her surgery center. Hooray for Chula Vista for having such a wonderful location filled with such professional staff.
