Pump it up is awesome & perfect for everyone of all ages! Today we had my sons first birthday here & it couldn’t tell who had more fun, the kids or the adults! Erica & Luis were our party hosts & they went above & beyond to make sure everything was perfect! Everything from setting up our party room to helping pass out the food, desserts & drinks. They also helped with all of his presents & helped us take everything to the car. They kept a smile on their face & were very involved the entire party. This place is not only awesome but it’s very affordable & fun! I would recommend it to anyone! Also we didn’t have as many kids show up as we anticipated & Enrique at the front desk made sure to adjust the pricing in our favor since not everyone showed up. Thank you so much to everyone at pump it up Chula Vista for making today perfect!

I had my daughters 6th birthday party on Saturday she has an awesome time! All the kids were enjoying themselves the parents loved it! The host Tristian was great and attentive and very helpful, as a matter of fact the whole staff was great always smiling.

Very disappointed with the rules on food and drinks at this facility. Can’t bring your own water bottles for parents/​adults, can’t bring any food that has meat but yet they provide pepperoni pizza, can’t bring drinks for parents BUT they will sell you soda. Not very accommodating.

This place must be under new ownership because our experience was completely different than most of these reviews! Had my daughter’s 5th birthday here with the super hero theme. Everything was very well timed. Everyone had fun from my 1yr old to the adults. Set up and clean up was done for us. Super friendly staff. Pizza was good, cake was cut & served for us! No worrying about any planning or running around while there! Definitely would do it again! Thank you so much for everything!

I had my daughters 7th birthday party here just yesterday. We had a great experience they helped us with everything and made it easy for us. My kids and her guest had a blast. I do recommend allowing more time for the party. For example 30 extra min of play (15 min in each room) and 15 min in the pizza room extra. Everything felt so rushed.
The only suggestions I have was the drinks should have been put out before we entered the pizza room. There should have been a utensil to grab the salad. If we aren’t allowed to bring our own food atleast provide us with the proper utensils and big plates for the pizza. Also we paid for water and didn’t get to take the unused water bottles home. All of this is just suggestions the staff was great and did an outstanding job.

I was visiting from Chicago Illinois and attended a birthday party at pump it up on February 7 2015. It was an awesome experience. The staff was very involved in energetic with the children and also very helpful. The pizza and salad were also very good. My favorite part is when Olaf came out and the children just love him. Thank you for making it such an awesome experience!

This place is great. We were there on January 31, 2015 for a birthday party. This pump it up recently changed ownership and the owners were working during the party. Not only were the new owners very nice, they made a point to talk with us and made every effort to make the party fun and enjoyable for all. They were wildly successful. The kids played so hard there was not a single peep from them on the way home … they were sound asleep! The other staff were also professional and very helpful for the large party and the catered food was hot and tasty.
I read the review below complaining about the PREVIOUS owners’ effort to recoup their losses from a patron who passed counterfeit money. Our experience with the new owners was fabulous and I cannot recommend this place enough for a good time with the kids. I am happy we gave little weight to the suspect complaint regarding counterfeit money — you should too. You will have a great time at this pump-​it-​up.

Under new management/​owner. Very disappointed. Food is overpriced and you no longer have the ability to bring outside food and drinks! Didn’t know that the food policy changed until deposit was made. Nothing was mentioned on website, until you receive the confirmation notice. Day of party — EPIC FAIL! An outsider crashed my daughter’s party. Staff person inside the party room, was munching away on chips n grooving to the music rather than attending the kids. Staff placed figurines on my daughter’s cake without asking. And my daughter was so looking forward to putting them on the cake herself. Husband caught one of the staff handing a slice of pizza to another staff member during set-​up. After the party when issues were raised to manager, all we got was the owner can call u on Monday. When pressed for some recompense, mgr finally calls the owner who only wants to comp $ 2! WHAT A SLAP IN THE FACE AND AN INSULT! I literally raised hell at that point, at which the owner finally deducted the price of one pizza! When we got home after this HORRID ordeal we also realized the chips we brought for the kids weren’t served at all n were still there. WE WILL NOT BE COMING HERE AGAIN!

I had brought my niece to a party here, and was very impressed with the organization of the event. The staff were very attentive and kept the kids entertained with little games in between all of the activities of the jumpers. Loved it that adults can jump with the kids, I had as much fun as my niece.
The bubbles during the event was a plus. Kids love bubbles. To top it off the food served was fantastic, didn’t taste like a $ 5 pizza, rather more gourmet.
Would recommend parents to have their kids events here, it was such FUN!

I went to 2 parties here recently. Last week the staff was extremely rude to the parent who was giving the party. They wouldn’t let her serve the wraps that she purchased for the adults. First she was told that because they had meat on them they weren’t allowed. When she responded that the pizza had meat, she was told wraps weren’t finger food. They made us eat the wraps outside watching the kids from the window. This week’s party the same staff allowed the parents to serve food that had meat inside with no problem. You pay too much for rude staff who change rules as they please and nickel and dime you for everything. To cut your cake $ 2.00 for plastic cutter.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! Especially if you pay with CASH!
We organized a birthday party there and paid with CASH. About three days later, we got a call from a person named Jackie accusing us that ALL of the money we paid with was counterfeit and that we had to go back and pay with legitimate currency (that’s right, 3 days later they finally call saying our money «counterfeit» when they said nothing the time they gladly accepted payment). She even went as far as stating the denomination of the bills used which was entirely incorrect (she mentioned we paid with all $ 100 bills, but we explained we mostly paid with 20’s, and it was money put together from different people the day we paid)
How they figured it was our money that was «counterfeit» after 3 days, I have no idea… well, I do.
Long story short, they got the Police and Secret Service involved causing us a very embarrasing situation. It appears someone from the inside thought it was easy to blame us as customers for whatever it is they are doing in that «business».
We were obviously found innocent of any wrong-​doing. I don’t know if the people involved still work there, but we never even got an apology, much less a phone call telling us they were in the wrong.
STAY AWAY! Shady business…

I attended a birthday party here on August 24th, I was not impressed by the unprofessional staff. They were rude and were rushing all the guest to leave. The pizza was small and inadequate size for anyone, child or adult. The jump around area smelled horrible and $ 2+ for a pair of socks is a rip off! I personally will never throw a party here and I have two children! And neither will any of the parents that attended the party. The reason people throw parties at these establishments is to relieve some stress from doing it all yourself. This place was rude, and rush the patrons out of the facility. Horrible customer service and not sanitary.

I love this place. First it is super clean. The people that work here are super friendly and accommodating. I first heard about this place when I took my daughter for a birthday party. The people were organized and communicated really well with the mom. I have been here a couple of times for open play where you pay$ 7 and they can play for 2 hours. It is definitely worth it. I just booked my daughter’s birthday party and I can’t wait.

First time here for a kids party. The place looked fun but we felt rushed out of the bounce room. The pizzas could have been a little warmer. The staff was proffesional, but really the policy of not letting us open gifts in front porch is ridiculous! We literally had to go next door to open the gifts. What a rip off! If you’re gonna rush us out of here at least allocate some time and room for opening presents!!! I will not be recommending you to any of my friends, disappointing. But at least the children had no clue.

I took my daughter to a birthday party here this week. I didn’t even know where this place was. It’s kinda in the middle of nowhere, but I guess it needs to be. It’s in a warehouse park and parking is super easy. My daughter is still getting used to inflatable slides and houses, so that is why I say 3 stars. It’s something she will enjoy as she gets a little bigger, but it was a fun time.
There are two big inflatable slides and a bounce house. They also have a few games, an inflatable basketball game (more for older kids) and a hurricane simulator. There are two rooms with inflatables and party rooms for celebrations. They sell a few retail items too. Seems that they have special types of events once a week.
The music was upbeat, the staff was super friendly and the place was very clean. We had a good time. Once my daughter is big enough to climb through the obstacle courses to get to the slides and gets over her fear of the big slides… I am sure we will go again. It’s a great place for a birthday!
