Precision Motors is the best! They really take the time to explain your options to you without any pressure. My husband and I have referred many of our friends and family to them and they all are satisfied customers. The length of time that they have been in business is a testament to their excellent and fair service.

This review breaks my heart just a bit. To start, before the end of 2015 I was a loyal customer for roughly 4 years. I put my faith in the owners who, over the years, my husband and I grew to trust over any mechanic in the city. Many times we’ve taken our cars in and with a great attitude, they always helped us out. I’ve given many referrals and said MY mechanic will help you out. Well, this is no longer the case after November of last year. We originally took in my husband’s car because after HIS poor maintenance, we heard loud noises from the engine. We were told we basically killed the engine. So we took note and decided to save and hopefully replace the engine. We had help from my mother-​in-​law and she allowed us to borrow her car. When driving her car, I came to a stop and the car stalled and sputtered all the way home. Of course, we waited till Monday morning to take it to our mechanic. They had the car all day and when we checked the status, we were told that the coils in the engine needed to be replaced. He said he would try to replace the one for the cylinder that misfired and see if that would help but if not, he would need to replace the ALL of them. I knew how much this would cost because the previous year, MY car had the same issue and I spent close to $ 2000 in repairs. So I asked for him to replace the 1 coil to see if that would fix it. Total cost was around $ 470 bucks. Next day, it was sputtering again and I didn’t trust it to go to work. With all of the cost adding up with my husband’s car and my mother-in-law’s car and Christmas approaching, it’s safe to say we were stressing out! My mom had a gut feeling we needed to check into this and see what we can do before we take it back to my mechanic. She asked that I go get the coils from Autozone so her and her friend can see if they can do the work themselves and see if it would save us on cost. They also went and got a set of spark plugs for $ 38 dollars. When they went to take out the spark plugs, they can see one was clearly cracked. It pretty much fell apart as they took it out. They replaced all of the spark plugs and it was FIXED!!! The car was completely back to normal! I couldn’t believe it. My $ 2000 dollar issue was fixed with a $ 38.00 box of spark plugs! MY mom is 59 years old and is not a mechanic BTW. I can safely say this was either a case of laziness, incompetency or (I hate to say it) dishonestly. Whichever it may be, I will never go back. We were put under so much stress for nothing and was out $ 470 dollars for Christmas for our kids. Sad to say but they are no longer MY mechanic. Now to find a new mechanic for our broken down car. Wish us luck

2 + yrs. ago i spent $ 1800.00 $ & 3 mos. of trial and error here 2 qualify my ’93 dodge truck & pass smog. i trusted Mr. Sanchez who is pleasant & like-​able. Ultimately we believed the CARB approved after market catalytic converters were simply deficient solo as 2 made my truck finally pass the «NOX» standard. Fast fwd to May-​2015 and a different shop had 2 remove the illegal 2^nd cat-​converter & confidently tested & passed my truck on the 2^nd test by simply welding closed air leaks in the exhaust pipe before the O-​2 sensor. Expensive lesson learned depressingly the hard way. mec 6÷24÷015

Have gotten my car smogged twice here and they’re awesome! So friendly and super fast! I went in today as a walk in and they were so nice to just squeeze me in! And the price is great, too! Will definitely be returning and recommending!

I have been a long time customer of Precision Motors. I wanted to share what a positive experience it has been doing business with them. The staff is always Fast, Friendly and Knowledgeable. They know how to take care of their customers and keep them.
I have a mercedes e320, this place always give me the best price on parts & labor compared to the competition.
Its hard to find a good honest mechanic these days. Precision motors is the only place I trust and would recommend to my family & friends.

excellent customer service when i rented a uhaul, will definetly come back to repair my car if ever needed

We have been very pleased with Precision Motors for all three of our vehicles. We have used them for the past four years for many different services. Although the prices are not always what we can afford, whenever there is a coupon we jump on that and feel better. Both owners are polite and take a personal interest in my family, which also eases the whole «I am going to get screwed by these guys» attitude which I have read previously. Maybe that is what happens with garages, but one can hope that with good service and faith, all will work out and the cars will be safely running. So far so good for us! After getting screwed by a hit-​and-​run driver I checked out numerous places and ended up here because he seemed to give me a proper diagnosis of where and how messed up my car was. He (I think the owner) physically walked me thorough what was up. Which was cool. The cost to fix was a little more than I was willing to pay but every other place just told me what I needed. Mechanics have a shady reputation for being crooked so being able to see the screw up myself helped me out. I would go back.

this business likes to screw you. a simple smog check took half a day! i brought in my car at 8:30a, but the manager told the mechanics to work on other cars that came after me. on top of the long wait, my car didn’t pass smog so i had to come back the next day. the manager also didn’t honor his own coupon for a brake inspection.
