I wish that I had read these reviews before I placed my order. I placed my order 3 weeks before my party and received an email it would ship in 2 days. After 7 days of waiting I contacted the company and the moved the ship date later. Of course 3 days before my party I still hadn’t received anything and the company would not return my calls. I emailed them to cancel my order and I received a response saying they would do that but have not. I have yet to see a credit on my card. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! I will be contacting the BBB as well. Ugh, what a waste of time.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I’m very disappointed that we did not receive the order of napkins for our daughter’s wedding. Order was placed on 09÷16÷13. My daughter was assured via email that the napkins were shipping the week of ⁰⁹⁄₂₃. She was again assured via email on ⁰⁹⁄₂₆ that they were shipping from the manufacturer that day and would arrive early the following week. Calls and emails to Plates & Napkins customer service on ¹⁰⁄₀₃ and ¹⁰⁄₀₈ have gone unanswered. The wedding came & went on Sat., 10/​05, without delivery of the napkins. My hope is that this is a rare exception and that you don’t treat all your customers, like this, but other reviews indicate that this is common practice for the company. We would have been happier if you would have simply told us that you couldn’t deliver in time for an order placed on ⁰⁹⁄₁₆ for a ¹⁰⁄₀₅ wedding.

I, too, was duped by this company. I put in an order 2 weeks before my daughter’s birthday and then after that, there was zero contact from them. I called and wrote to them throughout this time and they did not respond to any of my attempts. I finally contacted the BBB and was able to get my money back. I was still left with scrambling at the last minute to get my party items together.
There are 17 or so reviews below that are filtered, but after inspecting them, it’s very apparent that they are all honest and should be included on this main page.

After a month of being told that the items were shipped the day before I contacted them at three different times, I canceled the order. STAY AWAY!!!

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Like the other reviews, you will not get your product and they will charge you for items you won’t get. After 5 emails and countless messages, I’ve given up and am disputing the charge. Thank god I used a credit card so they can fight it for me. STAY AWAY FROM PLATE​SAND​NAP​KINS​.COM. Stay FAR FAR away.

I agree with the others. Do not order anything from this company. I question what kind of a business it is. They do not have a valid phone number. It is impossible to get in touch with them. They do not answer emails. They promise a delivery date and don’t meet the deadline. When I finally received my order late (after my party), it actually came in the wrong color and with items missing.

Is this place a scam?
I was so excited and thought everything was taken care of, until 2 weeks later my order was still sitting in processing. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! This company should be reported.

I agree with the other two consumers below. I just canceled my order as it was been sitting in processing for 5 days now. I have tried to get a hold of the company several times to no avail. Two of their contact numbers are disconnected and one of their emails is no longer valid. I just called my bank and told them to dispute their charge. I did purchase other items in the same category (a one year old’s birthday party) from PartyPail and they were awesome as well as Amazon!!! Better prices do not necessarily mean better service!!!

Don’t buy from these folks! They process your credit card the day of your order then never ship. Customer service is zero. No phone that you can call. Only recording. They never return emails. Sorry, sorry outfit. I still do not have information or my product.

I am a completely unsatisfied customer, charged for products I did not receive. Don’t take my word for it though, read the Better Business Bureaus Consumer Complaints on them SO AWFUL.
