We are Chula Vista’s Neighborhood Pet Supply Store. IB Pet specializes in high quality pet products. We carry San Diego’s largest selection of raw frozen foods in addition to a huge selection of grain-​free, allergenic formulas, and organic pet foods.

History

Established in 2015.

IB Pet opened it’s Telegraph Canyon location in Chula Vista in 2015. IB Pet’s first store opened for business in 2009. Lori and Russell Blauert started IB Pet to offer a locally owned option for high quality pet products.

Excellent!!! We came in here looking for a new doggy food for my extremely anorexic looking marley lol. The employees here are young and have great customer service skills & have alot of knowledge about their products. I bought Marley a goat milk locally made. Big bottle for only $ 9. You can find lots of things here for pets that you can’t in the big. Pet stores like petco && petsmart. Baes really likes it in here and said eeffffff Petco lol. Nah but honestly this is the spot for my Chihuahua friends love their organic foods! Thanks ib pet you’ve gained new customers Marley && chanel

Visited today for the first time and I was so happy with the time taken to explain about the different foods, supplements and chews for dogs. They have a an amazing selection of products. They have a frequent buyer program too. Will definitely come back again and again.

I called again to see what the status was with my refund. Monica answered; from the start of the conversation, she was very friendly, asked questions and made sure she spelled my name correctly and repeated my number back after taking my information down. She said that she’d contact the manager/​owner and get back to me. (Thank you Monica, you were great.)
Not even an hour later, the manager got back to me. He introduced himself as Russ and explained the issue of the chip reader double charging some people and how he removed the chip reader from the stores. Russ was extremely sincere, made sure he explained everything and promised to resolve the issue. I vented to him about how his employee Bryan was rude and he said he’d talk to him as well as the entire team. I did let him know I’ve never had an issue with anyone else at the store and I am happy he was able to resolve my issue.

This store is awesome! They have a variety of natural products for your pets. There are so many speciality products you can’t get at stores like petsmarts & Petco. They also have a frequent rewards program which I thought was nice. The girl working there was very friendly & helpful. I will definitely be coming back to shop here.

They carry Vegetarian Dog food. And they offer a Frequent Buyer program. They’re super nice and always so helpful. They carry specialty pet food you can’t find at Petco or Petsmart or any other chain store.

I’m changing my review. After talking to the owner today, she fixed all the issues that happened. She placed my cat food order and should be in tomorrow. She really wanted to fix things. Its amazing when a store wants to fix this issues caused by their employ’s. Hopefully the guy isn’t there who was beyond rude to me last time.
I placed a special order Tuesday to have food for my cat delivered and I wasn’t informed until today when I called them it was back ordered. No one had the common sense to call to inform me it was never coming in. I had to call to find out. Needless to say I will never shop here again. I will be taking my business online.

Nice store, very organized. Came here with my husband trying to find a new food for are frenchie since he has allergy issues. We asked the man who worked there and he was very knowledgable on all the foods. He looked up the ingredients of what we currently give him and told him what was bad in it. He showed us the best options for grain free food for our dog. Some food is pretty pricey yet it’s pretty healthy. We got one on sale and can’t wait to see if it helps our dog with his allergies.
We were pretty satisfied with the products and the customer service and will be back.

Awesome customer service and a great selection of natural products for your pup. Also stocked with accessories and toys. It’s a bit smaller than the IB location but the selection’s just as good. They have diatomaceous earth! :0
The staff’s been super sweet every time I’ve dropped by. The prices are a little higher than PetSmart but not that much. You’re paying a little extra for awesome service and to support a local business, why not?!

Saw y’all are open now at this location so decided to check it out. I came in for the Blue Wilderness and was greeted by Chris. What a wonderful guy! He was extremely helpful and informative. I usually buy my food at pets mart but you now have a loyal customer because of this very nice guy. Customer service at its finest! Thank you, Tina Resendez
