Recently, I went to Dr. Risos’s office for my annual checkup. Staff were very friendly and efficient. It was quick and painless. I would definitely recommend her to all my friends.
Dr.Risos is the best!

This is the only place I will go for the attention to detail on my dental needs. The staff hands down are Awesome they actually care about you as a person. Sheldon keeps it all in order the El Capitan if you will, you have questions about billing or if you are unsure of anything just ask him. Keep up the great works guys! Don’t go to this dentist. Bedside manner is really bad. She talks loudly about my condition and gets me embarrassed. Staff on the desk is very gossipy and gets to your personal relationship. Dr. Risos did a procedure on me and I decided not to go back to her ever again. After 1.5 year, she sent me a bill because my insurance had denied her claim twice because the 2 experts in the insurance doesn’t think she is supposed to do it.

Nice staff and good service. Highly recommended. I have recommended her to friends and relatives and they are happy too!

Please be careful when you go to this dentist. Dont let the good reviews fool you. She waits until you are in her chair and keeps adding more and more money to your treatment bill… We went to her because of the good reviews. I think she does work that doesnt need to be done. Very disapointed that i received a bill for 1500. 9 months after treatment, i all ready paid her over 2500. please be aware, im very disappointed …

After reading the amazing reviews on Unilocal for Dr. Risos, I decided to visit her for an emergency issue. I had an appointment at 10 and wasn’t seated until about 1030. I am not upset about the wait time since she is the only doctor there. The issue was that they try to upscale everything. I spent a good 1 to 1.5 hr watching videos about extractions and periodontal disease. After watching the videos, the gal at the front came to me with a summary of treatment. After all this, my emergency issue was never resolved and when dr. Risos said she was going to give me a prescription for an antibiotic, she never wrote me one. Thank you dr. Risos. You caused me a $ 110 visit to the ER. Not impressed and will not be back.

Dr. Risos has been my dentist for over a year now, and I was referred to her by some close friends of mine. I have had no complaints about her and her staff. They are so extremely nice to me, and made me feel like family. I have had a few cleanings there, and Pam the hygienist is extremely thorough in her work, and awesome advice on how to maintain the health of my teeth. Dr. Riso’s assistants always make me feel very welcome, and make sure that I have a comfortable experience. Dr. Risos is very knowledgeable about her craft, always offering me all of my options, without putting any pressure on me as to what I should decide to do. I just recently got a second crown from Dr. Risos, and the entire experience (from preparing the tooth for the crown, using the temporary, and then placing the final crown on) was very stressless. Dr. Risos’ facility is very modern… they even have digital glasses so you can watch a movie during a lengthy procedure.
Dr. Risos and her staff do a great job of explaining what they are doing during a procedure. Dr. Risos is one of the best dentists I have ever had… and I hope to have her as my dentist for a long time. I recommend her and her staff very highly!

First of all they are open on some Saturdays! what a great idea! It was my first visit with my 16 year old daughter for exam, cleaning and i guess I needed a fill… We were the last appt of the day, we were in and out in 2 hours… I did not feel rush at all. I have gotten my teeth clean before but PAM (hygienist) gave me the best cleaning ever! Front office staff is very professional… The girl that took my Xrays (JLO) is super friendly and funny… Dr Deana Risos is very thorough in explaining everything to me… And they even fit me for a mouth guard! You can tell they are all happy working together! Great experience! Now I cannot wait to come back in 3 mos for a check up! Thank you very much for such a great dental experience!

I absolutely ADORE Dr. Risos! I am new to San Diego (from Memphis) and went to Unilocal for a good recommendation. Dr. Risos had great reviews, so I chose her. Had to have 3 crowns and she did an amazing job! She is patient, does everything she can to make you comfortable, and walks you through everything she is doing. Let’s face it, nobody likes to go to the dentist! But she takes great care of her patients. Not to mention she has a great personality and awesome staff! So glad I found her!

I’ve been going here for 3 years now, the service was superb! Excellent dentist and staff. they will treat you like a family, they are very flexible with your needs even if they have many patients to cater to, they even accomodate and helped me whenever I brought my kids with me during my treatments. And the best of all, I have learned so well how to care for my teeth.

Staff: They are very knowledgeable, friendly, and effiecient. They’ve taken real good care of me and my daughter, best customer service I’ve ever eperienced at a Dental clinic. Most importantly, the clinic is spot-​free and well-​organized. Staff did a great job on the upkeep of clinic.
Dr. Risos: She is very kind, entertaining, and very comforting. She is accomodates to the needs of your family. She is very informative and she makes sure that she adresses all of your concerns. She gave us a bag of goodies to ensure that we continue good hygiene practice. You get your moneys worth when you go there for your visits.
I am completely satisfied with Dr. Rios, her Staff and clinic. I highly recommend her as a family dentist.

Dr. Risos and her staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. If you are at all nervous about visiting the dentist she will put your mind at ease. During whatever procedure you may need they will stop every once in a while to check on your well-​being. They are very attentive to their patients needs. I always feel well taken care of here and I highly recommend Dr. Risos.

Great office! Friendly staff. They have movies to keep you entertained. They offer free whitening for life to new patients. If you dont have insurance they offer coupons !
